Heh. I had a Karen customer once. He'd filled his trash cans with concrete and I couldn't empty them. He chased me down and told me I needed to come back and empty his trash cans. I told him, nope, can't do that. Filling them with concrete is a no-go. He says then I have to come back and pull the concrete out and take the other stuff. I said, nope, I can't mess around with that. He says fine, if I'm so lazy, I can come back and wait while _he_ does it. I said, nope, the _wait_ part is the problem, I have a busy day to finish out. We go back and forth a bit and finally says, "If you're rude to my son 'again'"--I wasn't in the first place, and when the bosses called, even the son said I wasn't--"you might not leave my house." I replied, "Yes sir, I understand completely sir." What I meant was that of _course_ I would never leave his house again--because I would never go to it again. Of which, I promptly called my boss and informed him. Naturally he wasn't happy, but I wasn't going back to a place where I've been threatened. In the end, there was nothing he could've done about it but fire me, which since I was only refusing this _one_ guy, would've caused him way more trouble than it was worth. Also despite my occasional issues, he liked me. Anyway, that guy randomly died later. To my great surprise, his family--tired of paying 5 times our price, I guess--begged us to serve them again, promising he was gone. I agreed to go back, but only after the office found and confirmed his obituary in the papers. Yep. Threaten me and I will refuse to lift one finger for you until the day you die. And if I can find out a way to mess up your life even _worse_ than that I won't hesitate for a second or ever feel one scrap of guilt. Nobody in my life has ever threatened me and liked what happened next.
For that last story about the dad pretending to work and clean for the entertainment of his kids and the actual employees…that would have been fun to watch, that place sounded amazing and I wish I could visit myself, these are some great stories and I enjoyed listening to them
I’m experiencing multiple and painful flashbacks of many many painful and embarrassing memories of shopping with my mother when I was a kid. Ugh I hated it, the thing I remember the most was my mother passively aggressively asking employees for their name. This happened both in person and over the telephone. I have stories. This also explains my absolute hatred of shopping. I’m female, but in any relationship, I’m the one waiting outside the store. If I need anything, I’m in and out. I really think that this is all due to growing up with “Karen” as a parent. Sheesh.
One of the best cops I ever met was a tiny slip of a woman without an ounce of body fat. She was a black belt in one of the martial arts (I can’t remember which one), a knife expert, self-defense instructor, and just a very, very good cop. and great human. She also had long grey hair that she wore in a ponytail and if you looked at her in street clothes you’d never immediately jump to “cop.” It’s the 21st century; cops don’t have a “look” anymore.
As a Norwegian, we hold no claim for that crazy woman in story 3. I can agree with the thought of US police officers being less than ideal based on what we've grown up with, but that story just radiated straight up lunacy. Good on that organization for cutting ties with her.
Story 2 - Anyone that claims to be a cop, immediately ask for them to produce police ID to prove it. If they dont, simply point out that one call to the real cops will get them into trouble.
@@hardcorenativextreme You are correct, cops make fun of cops and pull pranks and insult bad cops constantly. I know because my part time co-worker when i worked security was a police officer.
The chef in that last story is amazing! Great sense of humor 😂 I laughed my ass off when he first gave op a big spray with the "you worked overtime" comment before giving Karen the tiniest spray and saying "you maybe not so much". Freaking love it 😂
Story 1: I kid wonder if Karen wasn't smuggling something illegal in that box somehow. SOOO weird. Wal-Mart makes a big deal of making their employees quite obvious (like to accommodate "The People of Wal-Mart") so this isn't even an easy mistake to make.
@@foremanhaste5464 no not substance abuse but the second half of my comment kind does explain it, mental illness. if you've ever seen someone stop taking their anti-psychotics you would realize they kinda turn into karens. this doesnt explain all of them tho, the rest are entitled and narcissistic, but still probably also have some underlying mental problems they dont know they have.
Your cart is filled with random stuff, like everyone else's. And a grown man would never be looking at toys to buy for his kids. that doesn't make sense, even on a karen level
Hibachi restaurant story, you got to love those Hibachi chefs! I literally have never had a bad time at a Japanese steakhouse in my entire life! I mean these dudes are moving so fast spinning Cutlery spinning spatulas squirting sake out into people's mouths throwing shrimp people never missing and always on the beat with a joke! I mean even though some of them have an extremely thick Japanese Korean Asian whatever country in Asia there from they may have a very thick accent, but they speak English perfectly so to hear them going off like very quickly telling jokes like rapid-fire jokes while they're cooking some extremely good food is just it's a treat! Like I just wish it wasn't so expensive but it's worth it it's something that you can do maybe once in awhile fit into your budget and you know you're going to have a good time. I wouldn't suggest going there if you're thinking you're going to get like a huge steak dinner and mashed potatoes and whatnot, because the portions are not large and sometimes if you have to upgrade you know if you want to upgrade to like the Kobe beef or whatnot or the filet mignon you're going to pay more but you pay for what you get and you get for what you pay for because that meet anytime I've ordered the filet mignon or the Kobe beef has been like butter melting in my mouth so good! And unfortunately I have been assaulted by a Karen in the wild at a Hibachi restaurant and wouldn't you know it, the freaking manager I'm talkin superhero manager he did have a cape on! Came flying in and threw her and her entire party which was a bachelorette party mind you, right the F out on their asses! He didn't care that it was a bachelorette party he was like these people are here minding their own business having a good time and you just came in here like you own the place and you expect everyone to bow down to you because you're getting married he's like either shut up or get out, but they didn't want to shut up so he threw them out! LOL I just love love Hibachi who doesn't?
Story 1: I'm not personally into Legos, but I have a friend who loves to build them. We did our doctorate together. And, I've seen videos of Adam Savage, you know, the star of, "Mythbusters" also build lego sets on his podcast. So...a lot of people really enjoy building these puzzles. Honestly, now that I think about it, it is not much different than the table-size jigsaw puzzles my grandmother used to put together, just in 3 dimentions instead of 2.
Story 2: I get the feeling OP was also a karen. Story 3: OP having wildly different opinions on cops is not just justified, but right. Some who were protested were innocent, others should have every penny they own taken away and locked away for life, and on public display. Also kudos for OP donating to that criminal defensd charity. These charities and others that fight for the innocent are important.
I think there is a conspiracy behind story 3. I think the Norwegian government, knowing she was unhinged, sent her on a mission to the USA "to root out police corruption". Assuming that she would behave exactly as she did, thereby earning many years in a barred or padded cell. And substantially reducing the overall drama level in Noway by her absence.
The Lego one reminded me of the time I took my nephew to the toy store. He was around the corner, an I had the cart with a Lego set in it. She tells me, that’s for children put it back. I said it’s for my nephew, an no. She said put it back, at which point the little S*** of a nephew(I love him dearly) rounds the corner an say. Hey you dumb Karen, it’s for me not him leave him the F*** alone. Which started a whole new argument….. he got ice cream on the way home.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a person who used to live in Connecticut, I can confirm. Although there are A Lot of rich folks, there's plenty of run down places. I mean, Waterbury ALONE. I had a friend who had a classmate from a foreign country, and they remarked how they were warned to stay out of Waterbury. Like, when folks outside Connecticut know Waterbury is bad, in a little state barely anyone knows about, It's BAD.
as a norwegian i apologize for meeting a person like that from my country, tbh ive never encountered a karen irl myself but i think i can kinda imagine how awful they are :S
Third story: Talk about self absorbed entitlement. What did she expect when there are even records of someone being a cop or not. And even a judge will laugh at her for trying to show an altered video as evidence. I bet she's ranting online that the non profit is corrupted as well and because she didn't want part in it she was kicked out. We know how these creatures think, they are always right, they are always the real protagonist of every story and they are always the victims of "every injustice they suffer".
So i have a similar story to the second one. I was in a walmart with my youngest son and we were looking at (oddly enough relating to the first story lmao) a lego set that wouldn't pull the price up in the app so we couldnt figure out how much it was. My kid saw a worker in the aisle we were in further down who looked to be browsing the shelves so I assumed she was off the clock. My kid asked me to ask her and I explained to him how she was probably off work now and how i wasn't going to disturb her when she wasn't getting paid to work. He was sure she was still working though because she was in uniform so I walked up and asked her if she was still on the clock which she said no, she was off. And I got into how its good my kid was just looking for a price check and we can find someone actually working because im not willing to work a job without pay at all either. Like what? Who wants to work when they're off the clock. In the aisle over there was this Karen of a worker that i guess heard what i was saying and i could hear him start in the next aisle like "excuse me? .... EXCUSE ME?!" then he came rushing over into the other aisle like "hi, i can help you since she wont." I was like woah woah woah dude that was me talking trash the whole time first of all and second i most certainly do not require your help if youre going to come at me like that. I felt so bad and was so worried this poor woman was going to get written up because of this other guys overzealousness that I went straight up to the front customer service to speak with a store manager to let them know what happened so she wouldnt get into any trouble. She did nothing wrong. It blew my mind like my guy.. you are going to burn yourself into misery if you're so willing to pad corporate pockets without any kind of compensation or payment. Time is money and everyones time is worth something.
that last one the reason the workers where so grateful was because the op was calm and did not bitch about the women and that he was such a good sport about all the things that went on during the show i guarantee the workers loved op as a coustomer
I know that hibachi place in the one story. The staff have a great sense of humor and the manager knows how to really fuck with you if he feels it's called for
I have to partly agree on the Starbucks story. If you constantly make blanket statements that all police are bad, then yes, all your calls to them should be ignored. Solve your own problem if you dislike them so much.
Man that last story reminded me of the day me and my wife got married. My best friend came up from California and took this out to a really expensive dinner at the Ichiban Steakhouse. We got the same Dinner Show and my older autistic son found found out that he loves tempora shrimp.
3:48 His cart is filled with random things? Clearly the lady’s never been to target before 😂 Jesus I end up with the most random assortment of things after wondering around a target
😮😮😮😮 Story #3 I THINK she may be on drugs! That type of behaviour is NOT normal!!! Just when you think 💩 cannot get any stranger... Welp.. here comes PSYCHO to prove us wrong!
These people are bigger than I. Being a vendor at a local big box home improvement store is great. I don’t technically work there so I’m able to get away w way more than employees. On several occasions I’ve had to save employees from Karens.
@@Kelle0284 You must not realize what was meant by "these people are bigger than I". It isn't about their body size. Like the saying "Be the bigger person". Reading comprehension is important.
that first story sound like it might have been a "stacked" box(why else would she need that specific one)... I used to work at a toy store a long time ago, and one thing I was asked to check when "prettying" the shelfs(pushing everything to the front and make them line up straight) was the weight of the lego boxes. I was told that some customers would open a small box, pry open the corner of a big box and put the content from the small box into the big one... then just leve the small one in the back of a nearby shelf or somewhere else... and then they would temporarely leve the big one on the shelf to come and take it later... If you questioned the weight or bashed corner(some would try to use double tape to make it less obvious) they could say that they just found it on the shelf... At least that was what I was told... wasn't there long enough to see this myself...
Oh, wow! That makes so much sense, because there have been times that I saw opened, empty small LEGO boxes on the shelf. I knew they'd been stolen, but I just figured they shoved them in their pockets or something.
You’re never too old for Legos! I have six large Rubbermaid containers in my attic full of Lego kits. I also have a Lego Christmas themed ginger bread house which I put out every year.
Story 3. I'm from Sweden and I have to speak up for my neighbours. Most Norwegians are sane, lovely people.
I'm from the U.S.. We believe you. I think its the air over here. It turns normally sane people a bit odd. LOL.
As a Finnish, I can say this: Every nation has it’s crazies, no matter how small of a number.
Yeah Swede here too, at first I was saying No way she was from Norway.

For the Karen trying to steal OPs legos. With her logic, she must work at Walmart also because why would a full grown woman be in the lego section?
Her logic is infallible...its like parents can't buy toys and crap for their kids or themselves in the toy aisle.
Because only mothers buy presents for the kids? She seems to live in a weirdly ordered world.
Hobby. Presents/gift

For that last story about the dad pretending to work and clean for the entertainment of his kids and the actual employees…that would have been fun to watch, that place sounded amazing and I wish I could visit myself, these are some great stories and I enjoyed listening to them
The last time someone tried to mess with my shopping cart they regretted it with a couple broken fingers
These videos from Dark Fluff make my days so much better
I’m experiencing multiple and painful flashbacks of many many painful and embarrassing memories of shopping with my mother when I was a kid. Ugh I hated it, the thing I remember the most was my mother passively aggressively asking employees for their name. This happened both in person and over the telephone.
I have stories.
This also explains my absolute hatred of shopping. I’m female, but in any relationship, I’m the one waiting outside the store.
If I need anything, I’m in and out.
I really think that this is all due to growing up with “Karen” as a parent. Sheesh.
First story: Turn the logic back on Karen.
"What's an old lady want with LEGOs? Go do your job!"
Impersonating a police officer is a felony.
and?
@@Kelle0284 I think they're referring to the woman in the coffee shop story...
@@Kelle0284it's illegal 😂
Story 2 - Anyone that claims to be a cop, immediately ask for them to produce police ID to prove it. If they dont, simply point out that one call to the real cops will get them into trouble.
Most cops wouldn't care and the ones that do are the ones you really have to look at because obviously they are the ones who have a power trip
@@hardcorenativextreme You are correct, cops make fun of cops and pull pranks and insult bad cops constantly. I know because my part time co-worker when i worked security was a police officer.
Impersonating a cop is a serious crime, an arrestable offense. 😮
Why is it so hard to understand someone doesn't work at the business? If someone says they don't work there, they don't work there!
Because it means that Karen has no power over the OPS.
Not always.
Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth.
Sooner or later, that debt is paid.
-Valery Alekseyevich Legasov.
The chef in that last story is amazing! Great sense of humor 😂
I laughed my ass off when he first gave op a big spray with the "you worked overtime" comment before giving Karen the tiniest spray and saying "you maybe not so much". Freaking love it 😂
*Story 1- She’s an adult in a Lego isle!!!* 🙄 lol
Story 2: Everyone there sounds insufferable
Story 1: That lady probably has the beginnings of dementia. Monomania is one of the noticeable symptoms.
Story 1: I kid wonder if Karen wasn't smuggling something illegal in that box somehow. SOOO weird. Wal-Mart makes a big deal of making their employees quite obvious (like to accommodate "The People of Wal-Mart") so this isn't even an easy mistake to make.
i have a feeling either she was on or off of something
@@satansecretary665 That is a likely possibility, but does substance abuse explain the Karen epidemic? I am frankly baffled at the source of Karenism.
I think the crazy Karen with the cop story should be locked up but not necessarily jail, perhaps a soft-sided room?
Along with a jacket with belts in the back and unable to move her arms
Story #4: That's just BRILLIANT!!!! I freaking love this payback! I would LOVE to go to that place.
Your cart is filled with random stuff, like everyone else's. And a grown man would never be looking at toys to buy for his kids.
that doesn't make sense, even on a karen level
All that was missing from story 2 was OP returning the manager's joke by saying that they hated the morning shift or something like that.
If you ever need a cop don't call one
This channel makes every day a bit better. Thank you ❤️
Story 2: I get the feeling OP was also a karen.
Story 3: OP having wildly different opinions on cops is not just justified, but right. Some who were protested were innocent, others should have every penny they own taken away and locked away for life, and on public display.
Also kudos for OP donating to that criminal defensd charity. These charities and others that fight for the innocent are important.
Yeah, I got that feeling for the second story too. “I know the manager so didn’t get in trouble!”
My question for Karen in the first story, if adults shouldn't buy Legos, what was she doing buying a Lego set?
Ten bucks says she was a reseller and didn't actually have a kid.
Lol crazy lego lady story, I was thinking the same thing except it was "not going outside to passionately hug her in the bumbum..."
That last story was golden
Story 2
First amendment much...not karens conversation. Not her business
So lady gets angry at the ACAB comment claiming that she's a cop... Then goes on to prove this guy right?
Stupid AH handed lego set over to the Karen?!?! Screw that.
Screw everyone who lets Karen’s get away with crap like this!
Often, the best revenge on a Karen is being the 'better person!' It accentuates how hateful she is, on top of her rudeness.
Another great batch of stories. Fun watch.
I'd heard story #4 already, but I had to hear Dark Fluff's version; I wasn't disappointed!😊
What did they think would happen, they need to get their eyes checked.
Story 1: The only ones working there is the actual employee and the Karen’s selective hearing.
Story 4 This is why I love Hibachi. It’s good food and improve comedy all in one.
First Karen needs to feel the business end of some Hot Wheels track... WHAP!
Norwegian Karen needs to be fed lutefisk for her time in stir...
I'm Norwegian and i'm shocked!!!!! 😳 OMG!!!! 😳
as a norwegian i apologize for meeting a person like that from my country, tbh ive never encountered a karen irl myself but i think i can kinda imagine how awful they are :S
I'm not a cop. But I'd have given that rude "all cops are bastards" b- a piece of my mind, too. What a frigging Rebel Without A Clue!
With story 1, all I could hear with Karen's behavior was the little wooden bird inside a cuckoo clock.
Story 1: “Out-crazy the crazy.” and “… I will not make out with you in the Lego section.” LOL
Happy Friday Fluff. Thanks for the videos. I love this channel!
The last story was the best
that last one the reason the workers where so grateful was because the op was calm and did not bitch about the women and that he was such a good sport about all the things that went on during the show
i guarantee the workers loved op as a coustomer
I know that hibachi place in the one story. The staff have a great sense of humor and the manager knows how to really fuck with you if he feels it's called for
Holy shit... so a grown man can't be in the Lego aisle, but a grown woman can? WTF is up with that?
so with story 2 I am going to assume that OP also thinks they are with antifa with that ACAB bs. I don't believe story 2 actually happened
That or BLM
Story 2 is either fake or it's real and OP is actually kinda a Karen themselves
I love that last story😂😂😂
Just one question? Is Walmart really this bad? I am beginning to wonder why anybody would step inside their doors.
😮😮😮😮
Story #3
I THINK she may be on drugs!
Thank you for protecting the downtrodden!
People can't always help their size. Stop judging, bud.
@@Kelle0284 I hope you're joking. It's so hard to tell when it's just text on a screen if someone is being serious or not.
@@kitarrah1422 No. I'm not joking. Why would I be?
@@Kelle0284 You must not realize what was meant by "these people are bigger than I". It isn't about their body size. Like the saying "Be the bigger person". Reading comprehension is important.
So it's not o.k. for a grown adult man to be in the Leggo aisle, but a grown adult Karen is allowed? She must work there too! Reprimand her!
The world may be crazy but at least I have. Dark fluff videos to look forward to!
that first story sound like it might have been a "stacked" box(why else would she need that specific one)...
When I go to Wal-Mart, I always check to see who is Wal-Mart staff or not.😊
3:55 Why in the world would the manager let Karen walk away thinking she got her way? That's just going to make her get worse.
You’re never too old for Legos! I have six large Rubbermaid containers in my attic full of Lego kits. I also have a Lego Christmas themed ginger bread house which I put out every year.
As a Norwegian, we do not claim that crazy woman 😅😂
4:23 Or, how about this - when someone says the words “I DON’T work here”, apologise for the mistake and walk away.
😳
My favorite stories you tell!!!
Story 1: “why is a grown man in the Lego section”
Me: I don’t know why it their a grown woman in the Lego section
First story: just scream "STOP TOUCHING MY GENITALS, YOU FREAK!". And you can see Karen run like hell!
