That is the standard radio, no spare tire just the pump-most had that to save weight and meet EPA. Most of the blank buttons on the steering wheel and dash are options like track/sport mode and further climate functions.
I’m not positive, but I think the button on the trunk is the button to unlock it form the outside so you don’t have to go inside the cabin to unlock it. Just keep the key fob in your pocket then press it and it should unlock, same with the bottoms on the door handles.
Beautiful! I can’t believe how nice the interior is. Is it possible it was used by a department other than the police? And I vote for bigger wheels and tires. Enjoy your new car!

Those three aux buttons I'm pretty sure have to do with in the center compartment you had them three different connections one was for SD card when was for a dataport and the other one I forgot what it was for but the SD card is where you could put music on and pop that in there and then have it come on the screen and play music off that the other one is for plugging in your iPod or phone and listening to the music off that I forgot what the other one was for but I think those buttons bring up the device that's connected to that certain AUX port.
Great acquisition. The gizmo in the trunk; Dodge doesn't put spares in Chargers so that's a portable tire sealer/inflator, in place of the donut. You have a smuggler compartment, Han Solo! I suspect that the SD card port in the centre (Canadian eh?) console was for the dashcam. Given that the dash has Miles/kilometres, I wouldn't be surprised if the emissions meet Canadian standards. Looking forward to more content on this one.
Like I said the charger for the win The slot in the Box is for the over the air Updates any Chrysler dealer can do it for you I recommend you finding an SRT somewhere in snatching the wheels in the exhaust system from it or ordering a new exhaust system from Hooker 3" exhaust sound a hell a lot better plus it goes through the original cats I am jealous
As an owner of an 11 5.7, some of these got me too when I bought mine, walked around my shiny new car like an idiot at the gas station for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to open the gas cap. The media ports are SD card, USB, and aux, all of which can be fed into the radio, I believe it will read .wav and .mp3. The climate control can be controlled from the buttons on the dash and the screen. As far as issues, watch out for the alternator. Mopar had a recall on those, I think it was 11 to 16 but I could be wrong. They also like eating tie rod links so if it feels a little darty, that could be it. As far as exhaust, I've got a 2.75" Pypes stainless catback on mine, it sounds fantastic. It can be a little drony, but it's so good I don't mind. I'm sure you've already figured most of this out by now lol but I really enjoy mine, they're great mile eaters.
You should be able to play MP3's off USB flash drives in that USB port and via that SD card slot. You can plug 3.5mm mini TRS into that AUX port. aka the headphone jack.

Glad you were high bid, you'll love the '15 Charger! I've had several police pkg Chargers & you hit a home run with the dress up kit, and those engine & idle hours, wow! I still have a 2011 Charger that was obviously used by admin (Colorado State Patrol), only had 120 idle hours with 110k miles!!! Just a heads up, you need to change the lugs to swap to the small hub caps. I also have a 2013 Ford PIS twin turbo ecoboost and it is just as quick and fast as my hemi Charger! It's also fun to drive but the Charger (especially '15 up) is my favorite.
Put some mp3s on a sdcard, no sub directories, put it in the slot and hit media on the radio. I think the back button works for the infotainment to go back a screen.
haha the "coasting, no engine breaking" is typical of the better trans on these! I have a compass 2014 and it will not downshift unless it has to, leading to this effect haha. Sucks the breaks on the compass (prior to 2018 models) are trash (drum in the rear) so I have no choice but to use autostick and manually downshift to do a little bit of engine breaking as a combo when doing more spicy driving.
Wow, that ALLOT of issues for such a new car. It doesn't appear to be beat on either... Damn dodge fiat quality these days... Well hope all the bugs are worked out and it's a issue free car for you my friend! I prefer this body style front and back compared to the last Gen! Such a sporty looking car! Mean appearance!
Also it's not faster. It just the chassis is not as good as the caprice chassis. On the charger it slots the tires so you think its fast. But the caprice it puts the power down do it alot faster.

Good looking car at least the car was taken care of its that much better for you. Enjoy. Have fun 👍
Thanks 👍 I'm totally diggin this Charger. Thanks man for stopping by.
I don't really like the 3.6 V6 charger pursuits because it reminds me of an SXT with cop accessories but this, it's a 5.7 v8 and gotta admit I love 5.7 v8s!
suggestions: swap an 8-speed transmission and 8.4 U-connect on it
edit: in another video, he already swapped an 8.4 Uconnect on the car.
Nicely done review on this video. Thanks for pointing out the little things.
That's a beautiful charger I love the dark blue color, I would just get the custom rims and window tints and I'm good to go.
I would try to figure out what type of pursuit it was involved in, could have severe drivetrain wear
Just found this channel your unique speaking voice is great 👍
As an owner of an 11 5.7, some of these got me too when I bought mine, walked around my shiny new car like an idiot at the gas station for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to open the gas cap.
Gas cap thing took me a minute to figure out too. I actually just sat down and looked it up on RUclips lmao
Super cool car. Love the color. A hemi with broken stability control is a recipe for a lot of fun. The ABS/ESC faults could be affecting the electronic power steering, causing the strange steering feel you discussed. Just a thought.
I didn't catch what you paid for it? Or if you don't really want to say, at least a little estimated range, thanks buddy!
I am trying to find a Dodge Charger Pursuit myself.
I currently have a 2022 Ford Explorer FPIU.
A charger pursuit would be a nice addition!
The data ports is for your phone, if you plug your phone into the USB port in the console it should link directly to the UConnect system
Ohhhh, thank you! I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing that.
@@hullinger no problem, I have a 2020 Ram 2500 with the 8.4 and it has so much technology, took a few weeks to learn it all.... but have to say, love your videos, I am dying to have a couple extra bucks and buy a Charger pursuit, been one of my favorites
Good for you on this win, those cars are great.
good score... its great grabbing up a rare car..
I think so too, I'm totally diggin this Charger. Thanks man for stopping by.
Hello there. It's your friend Ted from Texas. I too like the Dodge Charger with the Hemi Motors. I am hoping to snag one for my local Village Police Department. They have three left in their inventory that they are using. I'm keeping my eyes open for when they go to auction. Good luck with it and enjoy it. You'll have to do a video after you detail or roll out I'd like to see how it comes out.
The outside trunk release button only works if you have the key fob with you.
I love my Dodge Police Charger
Congratulations on your new car
I'm totally diggin this Charger. Thanks man for stopping by.
Put some mp3s on a sdcard, no sub directories, put it in the slot and hit media on the radio. I think the back button works for the infotainment to go back a screen.
Good to know and thanks for sharing that about those data ports in the center console.
It's crazy I want a detective unit version 2011-2017 hemi there hard to find with moderate miles in texas were Im at
haha the "coasting, no engine breaking" is typical of the better trans on these!
Probably the Captains car......nice. Does it have the crown vic effect?
