I do the same when I go fishing and stay overnight etc. I thing I did was I cut a 1/4 inch plywd board to cover the open space that the rear seat leaves when folded down. It makes it much more comfortable. Then I store seldom used items there.Ciao

I've run a similar setup in my cherokee while prepping for an actual camper build. Simplicity works.

Just baught mine last weekend. Starting conversion next weekend

The passenger side was for my bed. Driver kept my gear clothes etc.

King Yeung Ng yes, I never had any issues. I had plenty of head to toe room and my bed was 30 inches wide. So was much like sleeping on a cot.
