Garmin inReach Mini 2
I decided on the Garmin inReach Mini 2 as my personal satellite communication device I would be taking on trail. The decision was mostly based on the fact that I finally upgraded my phone and plan on doing much of my filming from my phone. I need a device that had functionality without use of an app when needed.

Appalachian trail thru hike announcement 2022 (CYTC?)

Tired of waiting for the perfect time and the perfect health, so I'm setting off to thru hike the Appalachian trail. The end goal is actual to complete the triple crown in a calendar year...the Appalachian trail is kinda my gate keeper to this goal. Setting out Jan 14 to see if I'm biting off more than I can chew.

Coffee trailer framing

Quick run down on how we did the framing on the coffee trailer. Didn't show me doing any of the work because, reasons, but I go over a couple of the things to think about and tips to hopefully make it easier if you try same thing. If nothing else you'll get to see how I framed the coffee trailer and share in getting one step closer to being done.

Just a look a look back on 2018 and a what's to come in 2019. Making a couple changes, but still going to be working on the Jeep, and finishing the trailer. Just putting a much larger focus on the coffee shop moving forward.

Counter top install in vintage coffee trailer

Was going to make the counter tops for the vintage coffee trailer, decided to pick up some IKEA's cheap counter tops instead. Kept some of the counters from the original vintage camp trailer, I think these will contrast with them nicely.

Installing and plumbing the vintage trailer destined to be a coffee trailer. Only old part used was the original water tank, but it needed modified to work with a pump. Used Plex for all the piping made the job easy and fast. Next trailer plumbing video will cover the grey water and attaching faucets.

Started framing the interior of the vintage trailer / coffee trailer. Got it all set up for the counter tops. Its starting to look like a real camp trailer, and is one step closer to getting the coffee equipment installed.

Got the vintage trailer taken down to the frame. Started building the new floor, and laying out for the cabinets. Not the most exciting of tasks, but at least we are set to kick things into high gear now.

After doing a lot of thinking I've decided to turn the vintage trailer I picked up into a coffee cart/trailer. Don't think it will change much of the rebuild, except a couple benches will now be counters. Plus a little more pluming.

Can i use for driving car
If you have a cheaper cooler you can put heavy things on the lid like blankets and it will help insulate as well as push the lid down harder to minimize air leaks

Man, I went to a construction site to read a quiet book behind my jeep and they are SO loud. Can you believe people!?!? I should go have a talk with them and tell them to quiet down.

I saw the video on your health update. Hope you're doing well! May I ask, the space above the wheel well with the hole in the plywood, is that where you are putting your fresh water tank?
No we ended up using that for grey water. The fresh water tank went across the rear.

Yup, I bought the mini a couple years ago and have been very happy. Good choice.
That seems to be the general feeling. People are so quick to be negative about things, that when you find a product so liked…..it’s Probably a good sign it’s a solid purchase.

Ya it’s hard to put a price tag in peace of mind. To many things to worry about, anything that removes some of those worries is a hug win in my book.
