For some years now, he is the topmost male exponent with PT Venkatesh Kumar. But, yes, we miss that young master who , in this clip, sang the incredible Kirwani in 7 minutes flat.

Difficult Raga like Multani is calmly and easily performed by ustad Rashid ji. Badhat andaz, notations, Ghamak, Paltas and firats were superb and Exellent.
He is no. 1 ..I have heard innumerable concerts of God Bhimsen since childhood...Rashid bhai is also God in his own way....only artist I adore along with Bhimsen ji....

Rashid jee has always been exceptionally amazing. However , I say it out of concern .He must stop jamming with commercial filmy singers who steal glory by his presence. He is at prime of his career and should concentrate on setting milestones of serious gayaki for posterity. He is last hope of dedicated Shastriya Gawaiyas. Rashid is a simple and very innocent person and gets along as it comes.

A musician grows everyday with riyaz and experience and age,but in his case he has been born as a Legend... So plz explain wat u felt and commented, being a musician myself i really want to know ur opinion and analysation of his singing...
