The Ustads Salamat and Nazakat Ali Khan were my introduction to first rate khyal singing in the 60's. I always found their music entrancing, and I still do. They are unequaled.

Multani is not an easy raga, having notes same as Mian ki todi. always wonder whether to admire his control & command over rhythm or his using of notes. not easy to express.
