Ok I honestly think every human being is entitled to a “Please Believe Me” moment in their life. AT LEAST ONE. If a grown ass man came to me paranoid and sweaty that there was a cult member stalking him I would believe him 100%
At least when you really know the person. If it's a random stranger I'd be inclined to not believe them if there's no proof. This ending made NO sense though.. Pezzy took a picture and they still think he's just making it up. It happened multiple times and they still think he's making it up. Even his *family* apparently think he's making it up and they even included "which is out of character for me" and still nobody cares to believe him. I despise just about everyone in my family but if any of them came to me paranoid and sweaty saying things like this I'd be inclined to believe them. If it was my immediate family or friends though, I'd believe them 100% no matter what. This story though is why I don't care for most horror movies because this is basically what happens in them. It'll be like some mental person that all this happens to so nobody believes them until it's too late. Or it's just such a terrible story that it's not believable.
The other thing about this particular character is he's not new at all. He's been working in this forest for a while - he was simply transferred. So everyone being like "Nah newcomer you're fine" is even more stupid.

@@Eventide215 After watching a few other youtubers play this game, my theory is that the people in the town around the forest, as well as the forest staff knew about the cult. Or they were a part of it. That's probably why they were so nonchalant about what Pezzy saw. That also could explain why no evidence was found, there could be cult members in the local police department. Plus its super easy for the forest staff to just say that the main character was going crazy due to being alone for so long. And I thought that the main character possibly left their camera behind too. But no matter what, the family should've believed him.
