They always said their home belonged to Christ and they welcomed everyone...never asked them to leave...you completely felt like family. I've said numerous times these last few days that she was the most amazing woman i ever met and will likely never meet anyone like her again. I love her. So blessed to have had her in my life for the last two years.
I am blessed to have raised her from her birth with her mother and to hear her impact on strangers to me is a true miracle. I am so heart broken but strengthened by your words of praise!
My deepest Condolences to the Family of this Mother left Children. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Her O'Lord And Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Them. Through the Mercy of Almighty God Rest In Peace Our Sorrowful Blessed Mother Pray For US! St. Joseph Patron of Departing Souls Pray For US!
Thank you for this podcast, Holly and Mom. I live in Tucson, Arizona and have children and grandchildren who attend Mass in El Mirage. That is where I had the great privilege of meeting this beautiful soul. I maybe had two not very lengthy conversations with her and she made the most incredible impression on me. The last time we talked I knew she was convicted to the preservation of her family’s spiritual well-being. I believe she recognized the dangers of even other Catholics who are under attack severely from the world the flesh and the devil and withdrew her family to their own special sanctuary in Michigan. I heard of her death at an announcement at Mass, I had to go to the back but soon I was at peace thinking of Zelie a new little saint and I felt like Jesus just wanted to take that sweet soul home to Him.
❤Even though I never met this beautiful lady she's a part of my church family and therefore I'll remember her in my prayers and her loving family she left behind❤ Saint Zelie Pray for us ❤
Oh Holly and Mandy, thank you so much for this beautiful tribute to such a valiant woman. I never met her, but am grateful for all who knew her, in sharing her wisdom and love. We have praying for the Martin Family and for Alexa’s soul. May she rest in the peace of Christ. 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you, ladies! It is great to hear personal stories about her. It is amazing how impacted I still am despite barely knowing her at all. Really a great testament to her character. And I have to say that right after praying for her soul I sneak in a prayer for her intercession. ;)
Ladies, thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. The faith and piety that you’ve described of Alexa puts me to shame. I pray that I’ll use the knowledge to improve. May God grant her eternal peace. Saint Zelie pray for us. Lord, please grant comfort to their family.
Thank you for doing this. Prayers will continue. She definitely touched so many and even if it was for a moment of meeting her or a long relationship She will be missed. God Bless.
A Very Beautiful Tribute to a Very Beautiful Friend. I did not know her personally, but I could tell via our Facebook connection that she was quite a special soul. I would have loved to meet her in person; because of our virtual connection (however small), even I am impacted by this loss. I went to Mass for her here with Fr. Zepeda on Tuesday. May the Mother of our Souls watch over these two souls in eternity and may She be with those left behind in this difficult time. ♥
I did not know her, yet my heart breaks for her family. My prayers are for her family and the repose of her soul. I hope I will meet her and her family in eternity!🙏🙏
I’ll never forget her mouthing the words from our Blessed Mother’s Magnificat at the part “Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name.” She lived her life in a way that always rejoiced that the Lord rescued her and gave her such a meaningful life by leading her to the true faith through Isaac, the man who would become her husband. She always wanted to use her life to thank the Lord for that. What a beautiful person I was blessed to know ❤️🙏🏻
What a beautiful, moving tribute. Thank you so much for sharing your memories, ladies. Prayers for the repose of dear Alexa and her babies' souls - may they rest in peace. Prayers also for the comfort and consolation of her family, friends, and all who knew her ♥she has touched so very many hearts!
Thank you Kevin for the go fund me link. Happy to see goal has been met. Let us know please of ongoing needs of the family. Thank-you. Wish I had known Alexa, she sounds like a wonderful catholic. God bless this family and may they be comforted by the holy family and all the angels and saints.
Our dear Alexa is our example of a truly valiant woman. ❤Her unending generosity, always teaching the children to SERVE with LOVE, whether in the garden, preparing a meal, laundry, or tending the animals. "All for thee sweet Jesus".❤
The first time we ever met in person we were just supposed to stay two days and then go to a hotel while we were waiting to close on our house. She and Isaac kept saying to stay another day...then another...we stayed two weeks and it was so natural. I've never stayed at anyone's house two weeks😂 but yes, you didn't want to leave their home. They made you feel so welcome. 😇 All for Thee, Sweet Jesus as Alexa would always say...
Christ is King of the Martin home. Mary is Queen. Truly the grace flows and the fragrance of purity and charity perfume it. I found more peace in that home than anywhere I have been except the church. I was utterly delighted when I heard the Martins were returning to Michigan from Arizona. I immediately contacted her and let her know I would give her all my home school supplies since she said they would be home schooling. The true Christian spirit reigns in the Martin household and it is truly edifying, inspiring and consoling. One can imagine what this world would be like if Christ the King and Mary the Queen Mother reigned in every home as it reigns there. We love you Alexa, and pray you rest in peace with little Zelie and Mariela until we meet again on the heavenly shore. May God comfort those you have left behind and the hope of the resurrection on the last day fill with hope. Alexa, I am counting on your help. You and I know what that is. ♥️🌹🙏✝️
I knew dear Alexa through our group of Catholic Mothers... I am deeply touched and devastated by her and her childrens passing 😥... I wish I knew her more closely as some of you had the blessing of having...May Alexa rest in peace🙏💓Sweet little Zelie pray for us all🤍🙏 God comfort and bless her family always💝 This was a great tribute, thank you💓
Feelings are so very much part of paying tribute to someone and it’s OK to feel. I lost my grandson at 5 hours old and then my only son by suicide 9 years ago and feel like a seasoned griever unfortunately. Please don’t be afraid to feel and to allow other to feel whatever. What a tragic story. I am so, so sorry for your loss and for the family’s loss. We do not understand God’s ways………but He will bring great good out of this - as He has for me. After passing through the dark valley of grief He brought me into a greater Light than before my family left. God bless you all.
It's so heartbreaking. Fr. Carlos Borja has a go fund me link on his post for Alexa and Zellie on his X (formally Twitter) page. I never met Alexa, but I'm sad to hear this news. The podcast was very nice that you did for her. Thank you!
So sorry for your loss🙏St. Zelie actually lived in His “Divine Will” May she always be remembered here on earth🌹thank you kindly for sharing with us who is another saint and yet the world hardly knew💕a precious servant God wanted for something good here on earth. Zelie will be remembered in my daily devotion of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and rosary.
My thoughts and prayers are with those mourning the loss of an amazing woman and daughter. I didn’t recognize the family, but pray that Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary consoles and comforts them spiritually. God bless you😊!
I had the pleasure of meeting Alexa, Isaac and their children, when my family drove to their church for one of our sons confirmation. (We're a mission of Fr. Appelhanz) Isaac offered to take pictures for us. He talked to us quite a bit after mass. Telling his story to us, complete strangers. I know EXACTLY what you're talking about when you say there was something about them. Ive never felt welcome, so at ease around strangers. It was a COMPLETELY genuine! On the drive home, I said to my husband, I have never felt so truly welcomed by a parish. I felt at home. Truly wonderful family! She will remain in our prayers as well as the Martin family. 🙏 Beautiful tribute. God Bless

This is both heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. I wish I knew her.
A beautiful tribute. 💔 Thank you, Holly and Mandy!

What is the app that the kids used to meet each other? RIP and God bless
Trad Chat, designed by Michael, Lauren Caggeso's son 🙏
@@Kason05MB, is it an app that can be downloaded from an app store, and is it for all ages or is it formatted especially for children?
Did she have an accident?
Auto accident.
I believe the date was 11/11/24
It was the 10th
The date was Sunday, November 10th, 2024. That makes the date numerically, 11-10-2024. May she RIP
Some countries put the day first and month second. I’m guessing that’s how they do it in Canada, so 10/11/24 would be 10th of November, 2024.
What is Trad Chat?
Trad stands for traditional Catholics
