Pass two at finishing up the bumper before sending it off for a shine. Looking forward to seeing the finished product! Best channel on RUclips - keep up the good work team Hiltz!
It has been wonderful to be able to see this unique custom come together piece-by-piece, idea-by-idea. I am excited to see it finally completed, having watched it become reality bit-by-bit.
I love the way you make your mistakes in public. That takes a form of courage. Anyone sharing a learning process deserve Kudos by proving that errors produce progress. Bravo!
hats off Chad I knew you would do a phenomenal job that's beautiful and I don't know if the reason you wanted to fill this bumper in was to bring out that soft V angle of the bumper but boy it sure does and really gives it an entirely new look.. I bet when this bumper was designed that V shape was a big part of its look, and when the pencil pushers said "nope gotta cut a plate holder in there somewhere it literally crushed them.. a bumper like that I would have petitioned they put the plate on the rear trunk lid had I been the designer.. one thing that's always drawn me to the colassic and those 50's cars are their bumpers, they didn't play back then and they had function in a big way, during that decade auto body guys didn't have a lot of rear end work going on, you survive those up until oh 25-30 easily depending.. 50's cars are some of the stoutest cars detroit ever pumper out, one reason they are my favorite era.. big safety factor in those cars
Yesterday was a good lesson on welding on the bumper. Today is an undated version on what we learned yesterday. Thank you all it is good to see this in real time. Keep on keeping it real. Bill
You learn and we learn. Great job on the bumper! Great job on the video as you talk us through what your are thinking and doing and Jolene gets the best view just like we were there.
not only do you have those 3 profile angles its all working off a compound angle off the middle or center, that soft Vee, you really see the shape of this bumper through this process to imagine how they originally made these bumpers in the day.. the effort, the craftsmanship and pride, its all there form design, engineering and manufacturing... man I wish we could get back to this kind of mentality ..
I can’t believe how you closed that off. I wouldn’t have thought it was possible without some crazy tools. Looks amazing. Thank you Chad and Jolene! Great work
40:16 When working with a rectangular piece like that it helps if you mark the outside face so that you don't keep turning it around when test fitting it.
Yes, I agree Chad doing it in pieces works so much easier to get the shape you're looking for. And Jolene does the best camera work I've seen on all of U-tube. You rock Girl!
Chad and jolene you made the second part of the bumper look so much easier than the first piece. Jolene your camera work is awesome we get to see everything that Chad is doing there is definitely an art in what you do. Keep up the great work the both of you 👍 👏

Round two went much better. Almost too fast, it felt like a speeding train. 😁👍 Great job guys. Even Jolene with the video shoot, a true professional. Greetings from Switzerland
You could really benefit from a few of those sliding metal clamps from princess auto for drawing things together like that piece that was lifting up in the bumper
Yes please level out that arm rest on the center console. I think today's side of the bumper came out nicer than yesterday's. But you can't tell that you messed with the bumper yesterday at first I thought you took it all off and was going to start over today. Keep up the great work Chad & Jolene.
Jad I remember you saying the other storage containers are trying to build a second shop will you be connecting it to this shop this way during the Winter you can have more to do and more room to do it
