I love Shahid Kapoor. He can play romantic roles, action roles and emotionally challenging roles effortlessly. I am biased towards him because I grew up watching his songs and commercial. I still remember enjoying ‘Ankhon mein Tera hi chehra’ by Aryans and young Shahid looking charming as ever. I also loved his 1999 Pepsi ad with SRK, Kajol and Rani 💕 I remember watching ‘Ishq Vishk’ movie repeatedly and listening to the songs all day. I loved him in Jab We Met, Kaminey, Vivah, Udtaa Punjab, and to me, he was the best part about Padmavat movie. I didn’t like him in Kabir Singh movie but that’s just my preference. When Shahid entered Bollywood, he was considered a chocolate boy and had the image of a romantic hero, he had to try hard to break that image. He also made bad movie choices. But I am guessing a lot of famous Bollywood directors like Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar etc never wanted to direct him even though he did movies under their production like Dil Bole Hadippa and Shandaar. His show is doing good at OTT. His last movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was considered a hit. I wish we could see him doing more good projects. The nostalgia factor would always make me biased towards Shahid 😂

He's so versatile... we are lucky to have someone like him in the industry. Even SRK's acting is a little... meh... there's nothing unique about SRK, I feel like he's a nice guy who made a massive impact in the early days of his career hence we feel safe when he's in the movie, like, there's a little familiarity on screen - but his acting is not so unique and wonderful, he's just got that familiarity, longevity. Yess i agree with the statement that Shahid is Moody, Aggressive and has mood swings because once i was in Jaisalmer in a hotel and there was a shoot was going on of Teri Baato me aisa uljha jiyaa and i saw from my own eyes that he was so agressive and loud talking with and does not look comfortable with the takes which were happening… the shoot was happening where climax comes and there were fire catches in palace that was the sequence…. Hope he success in life… fan of him❤
There is so much to forward from him that is the best part. Firstly, He is keen on doing films which have content and make sense to people rather than forgettable mass masala entertainers whose entertainment value is itself questionable. Secondly, he likes to challenge himself as an actor so we can certainly expect more surprises from him. He is inspired to walk the footsteps of his father. Thirdly, he takes work seriously and doesn't take the opportunity for granted even in mediocre films. All he needs to take care is his choice of scripts. As you said, the pool he can choose from is certainly limited because he isn't part of the inner circles due to various reasons. Big banners could have ensured marketability & publicity which certainly helps in overall BO performance. Fourthly, he is a joy to watch. I connect with him more than any of his contemporaries due to some reason and I'll always look forward to his work more than anyone else. I feel in recent years he has loosened up a bit and appears more secure and grounded. He was fine alongside Vijay Sethupathy in Farzi. He definitely feels under appreciated and rightly so. He will be able to garner this appreciation from masses in upcoming years.

Rranbir was served films on a silver platter by karan johar and hrithik has his father to offer him good films even when there is no buzz about him. Shahid got small banner movies and didn't get such opportunities like Ranbir and hrithik.

He is easily better actor than 90 percent people in bollywood in acting, his movies had better scripts than most so called mainstream movies but he is known to people for serial kisser doing kissing scenes in movies lol. But in India movie having kissing scenes was considered as top level vulgarity lol at those times and even in today's some people consider same. Shahid Kapoor is a brilliant actor and definitely an amazing star, if not a superstar. His lineups look solid and am sure, he will continue to shine with more fantastic performances. Hope people value him n his super talent rather than hyping overrated so called superstars.
Its just a theory, probably being on bad terms with Kareena Kapoor has taken away the opportunity from Shahid Kapoor.
He's so versatile... we are lucky to have someone like him in the industry. Even SRK's acting is a little... meh... there's nothing unique about SRK, I feel like he's a nice guy who made a massive impact in the early days of his career hence we feel safe when he's in the movie, like, there's a little familiarity on screen - but his acting is not so unique and wonderful, he's just got that familiarity, longevity. Shahid is like a chameleon, just like Hrithik and Aamir (even though his PK, Dhoom 3, and the Forrest Gump movie expressions are ugly as hell). And hey, as for bad behaviour... if Salmanbhai can return from a murder charge, then this is nothing lol

Yess i agree with the statement that Shahid is Moody, Aggressive and has mood swings because once i was in Jaisalmer in a hotel and there was a shoot was going on of Teri Baato me aisa uljha jiyaa and i saw from my own eyes that he was so agressive and loud talking with and does not look comfortable with the takes which were happening… the shoot was happening where climax comes and there were fire catches in palace that was the sequence…. Hope he success in life… fan of him❤
There is so much to forward from him that is the best part. Firstly, He is keen on doing films which have content and make sense to people rather than forgettable mass masala entertainers whose entertainment value is itself questionable.
Secondly, he likes to challenge himself as an actor so we can certainly expect more surprises from him. He is inspired to walk the footsteps of his father.
Thirdly, he takes work seriously and doesn't take the opportunity for granted even in mediocre films. All he needs to take care is his choice of scripts. As you said, the pool he can choose from is certainly limited because he isn't part of the inner circles due to various reasons. Big banners could have ensured marketability & publicity which certainly helps in overall BO performance.
Fourthly, he is a joy to watch. I connect with him more than any of his contemporaries due to some reason and I'll always look forward to his work more than anyone else.
I feel in recent years he has loosened up a bit and appears more secure and grounded. He was fine alongside Vijay Sethupathy in Farzi. He definitely feels under appreciated and rightly so. He will be able to garner this appreciation from masses in upcoming years.

I read somewhere (not sure if it is true or not) that one of his ex-girlfriends too left him because of his anger issues. Still, I love watching his movies, and I really hope he gets the recognition he truly deserves.
Rranbir was served films on a silver platter by karan johar and hrithik has his father to offer him good films even when there is no buzz about him. Shahid got small banner movies and didn't get such opportunities like Ranbir and hrithik.

From 2015-2019, i would say Ranveer Singh was doing better than Ranbir Kapoor, and in 2019 Ranveer was regarded as the next superstar. Therefore i think its possible to call Ranveer a superstar before the pandemic. However, now i think Ranbir is doing better in his career then Ranveer, and i also think Ranbir has a better upcoming movie lineup currently. Now I feel Ranbir is a superstar and could become an undisputed superstar if his next releases do well critically and commercially

@@deepakkhanna2322sadly it's because of Indian mentality. He is easily better actor than 90 percent people in bollywood in acting, his movies had better scripts than most so called mainstream movies but he is known to people for serial kisser doing kissing scenes in movies lol.
Man those erotic movies didn't even had 1 percent of shown in erotic international movie even compares to their normal movies with such scenes. But in India movie having kissing scenes was considered as top level vulgarity lol at those times and even in today's some people consider same.
Emran movie had better script, better acting and top of it amazing songs but is always judged for kissing scenes.
