@austinmcconnell I used to draw monsters and give them absurd stats. Like 9 billion in attack and 9 billion in defense. I think I got the idea because I saw some yu-gi-oh cards when visiting my cousins back in 2005. Man, when you're a kid, you tend to draw the weirdest shit ever.
This video reminded me of my childhood comic series, "Pancake Boy." It was pretty stupid, but they meant a lot to me. They were really my first foray into creativity apart from LEGO. You should try finding Wesley and reconnect, honestly.
My first comic series was called "The Laser". I drew and colored it all after the standardized tests in 4th grade. The next year was a hodgepodge for me, the next, one called "The Torch". The final year in my dynasty was one called "Max Swift", which was heavily inspired by the Carl Barks Donald Duck Stories. It was a big 30-something page story, and it still sits on my bookshelf. It makes me a little uncomfortable looking back, but my 7th grade year could be summed up in that comic. While my MOCs tend to slowly "decompose", my comics have stuck with me.
This comic series is pretty amazing. You guys went so far as to reserve a place for advertisements! I can't wait to see what project your working on. I hope it's a live action version of Moo Moo Man and Moo Moo Boy!

If I had to describe what this channel is to someone else, I wouldn't even know what to say. This reminds me of my super heroes I made as a child They were called the Super Twins and were individually named Jack and Jill (amazing names, I know) I only ever made 2 issues and it was obviously inspired by Captain Underpants but my classmates enjoyed it and thought it was cool I was able to emulate the Flip-o-rama thing (which really wasn't that hard in hindsight) Man if it wasn't for this video I'd probably never remember them
Me and my friends made a comic book franchise in 1st grade because the 2nd graders were doing it. The story made no sense and it was completely rebooted like 10 times but it was fun to make
This is awesome. I had a very similar experience in elementary school. My friend Luke and I would create comics during class and share them with our classmates. We made hundreds of them. (Luke also had a super-powered cow character, named Supercow). As we got older, we saw each other less, but I bumped into him a few years later and we spoke like no time had passed. He shifted out of comics and into aviation, but I still create comics/entertainment media. Even though our old characters weren't great, there is a happy feeling to going back and spending some more time with them.
This is really cool to hear about, especially that you're still drawing them to this day. I've got a small chicken character that I always draw, due to a strange obsession with the birds. It started when I was around 10, and 11 years later the chicken has played a staring role in probably hundreds of birthday, christmas and wedding cards that I make for my family and friends. Much easier than drawing humans, tbh. Anyway, keep up the cool, quirky stories!
I did a similar thing, where I wrote stories and drew comic books of a colorful Bouncy ball named Hüpfi (smth like "Jumpy") and his best friend, a purple snail named Lara. They lived in a flower field and they're biggest enemy was a mistreated dog whos owner was mean to him because his teeth hurt. It was genuinely really pure, because Lara had to trust Hüpfi since she was to slow too get out of danger herself, but Hüpfi needed Lara since she had the good ideas and plans. Ngl, it had some better plot lines then my current stories xD A lot of my friends and even teachers read them, it was really amazing

I wrote a short comic of a turtle who’s parents were killed by another character called “Evil Man”. Shelly (the main protagonist) would always try his best to get vengeance on Evil Man, but Evil Man would always find a way to escape. However, about the third time they faced off, Shelly nearly killed Evil Man, and assumed he was dead. But that was when one of Evil Man’s “Henchmen” rescued him and gave him a cybernetic arm since his real one had been crushed.
No matter how random your videos are, they never fail to make me think and somehow touch me. And make me so happy. Keep doing what you’re doing Austin. I can’t wait to see the something xx
I have a similar story like yours. In 2008, I created a comic book about a person named Michael and a talking pig called PiggyMcPig. The comic was called “Michael and PiggyMcPig”. They go on with their everyday lives, but almost all of the time, they do stuff that is a bit extraordinary. I drew them, and it was like a job/hobby to me back then. I thought that I will stop the series in 2009-2010, but somehow it kept going I drew them while the years gone by. I had a box of all the comics that I drew with them until 2016. The box somehow disappeared, and 8 years of hard work, just... vanished. I was really upset at the time, and I feel like I don’t want to do anything at all. My grades were falling, a lot of me also went away. It was one of the most darkest times in my life because I figuratively and literally put my blood, sweat and tears into my comic. But somehow in 2017, I decided to stop what I’m doing, and fix myself, so meanwhile I fix myself up, I decided to try again and draw the comic. It was going great, but I don’t want to repeat the last time with the box. So, I was deciding where to draw the comics meanwhile store in a safe place, then I turn to the internet. I set up my own website, download a free program to draw my comics, and that leads to now. 2018 was the 10th Anniversary of my comic, and I’m still creating comics with the name to this day. I don't understand what happens when I get to your channel, but every time I watch one of your videos I feel utterly relaxed and chill. It's like... I just want to listen to the story you're going to tell me and focus only on it, nothing else. I look for other RUclipsr's to laugh or to learn something, but with you... I remember having a single old school book that i filled up with stories and poems. None of them where good but i had that book for about five years and every inch was coved with almost all i wrote in that time. I used to read over it every now and again and it felt like i was watching myself grow and change. I lost it a few years back but still have some of the poems stuck in the back of my brain. Thanks for the cool vid dude it made me smile.
I also had lot of comics. I don't remember the first ones becouse they were mostly just one page shorts. But i had 2 comics series. 1st was "N00b" which i don't remember much, sadly but it was about guy called noob with his sidekick i don't remember name but it was about some run from something (maybe prisob break idk) and it was really WTF. It had like 10 epizodes and i remember for ex. He was sliding from top of mount everest or that he met president (i am czech and it was czech prezident). The second one is called Róza and Pegina (named after my rabbit Róza and my aunts dog Pegina). It was about Róza joining racing competition but he got Pegina 1st round and pegina was like 10 in a row times winner and she always ate the one who lost. (I was cruel kid hehe). So Róza accepted his death and he tried to work out. Luckily his friend was Sťůí (1. Don't even try to pronounce it 2. Named after hamster of my friend). And he was juror for the race (the race had jury IDK i was wierd) and he picked race track that will benefit Róza. Róza won the race and punished Pegina with life ban of racing and Róza withdraw from the race. The end.

OMG. My childhood creation was a super hero form of my favorite stuffed animal "Mooey" and his name was Super Cow! :D It was an entire saga that I worked on for years including a book and hundreds of comics. Its actually the reason that I still draw to this day, and Ive been having thoughts about animating some of the old comics and scenes from that old book. I also drew the bodies of the characters in the same way as you do, but the head design is different and ma cows had tails. Of course ive updated the design immensely, but there is still a little bit of little me in every drawing. My sister even had a super hero "Super pig" and super cow and super pig would go on adventures in ambitious crossovers. Anyway I could go on forever about it, because it spanned and influenced so much of my life, but I gotta say its really quite strange to see something so similar to my own life depicted in your video. Very nice video.
I know in one of your previous videos you talked about making and animated series. After watching this video there are pieces that I've put together like the fact in the LG 15 video at 16:05, you said you were working on a series for 2 years. Now it's 2018, here you say you've been working on something big, I think my idea of a Moo Moo Man animated series is that big thing. I'm happy to be keeping up with your videos, it always makes my day to see one. :)
I had a friend in kindergarten and we drew comics very similar to this, involving him and I fighting various monsters and villains. Recently we happened to attend the same high school and we reconnected. I’m now working on bringing back the series, involving our other friends this time. I think these things that we create as children are probably some of most precious memories we have, and they can not only remind us of what we love, but who we love.

I used to make comic books similarly. I would tie the bindings through the holes with the bit you tear off from the notebook. Sadly I trashed a lot of my ramshackle paper doodles at one point, luckily I still have my sketchbooks and index card collections. It's really good to look back at where you came from in regards to art. Because it's quite easy to become downtrodden and damage your own perception of your abilities, looking through old sketchbooks I am often more happy than I was making it.
Some how this video has kept me more engaged than most I've seen in a while thanks and can't wait to see what you've been working on but don't rush it we can wait.
Man, I can relate to everything you said. I also had a friend and also had a comic that we drew. We drew a lot of comics and he eventually had to leave because his dad was in the army (my friend switches schools often). I keep the very first comic that we drew with me. Whenever I feel demotivated I just remember the days where I was drawing those comics with him. Wished him a bright future
I've had my very own similar story, collaborated with a friend and created a comic book that spanned for years based on one of our teachers for some reason and it was a hit within our class, and I haven't seen that friend in years as well I really hope Wesley would one day watch this video and smile for having this sweet shared memory
I remember in third grade I wrote and drew (with the help of a nice college intern) three issues of a comic titled "Skunkman". She even helped me bind them and the teacher let me read them to the entire class. I hadn't thought about it in years but your video took me right down memory lane. I actually still have all three issues on a shelf in my room. I'm gonna have to give them a read now.
I have an old trapper keeper from elementary school. Inside this trapper keeper is notebooks with stories, drawings, newspaper clippings, things i've printed out and all sorts of things from my childhood. It's probably been about 15 years since i've pulled it out and looked at it. This video has inspired me to dig it up again.

I drew a comic book with a friend in like, 2nd Grade. It was about a dragon-man hybrid named Leonard who fought some hooded figure. Those were the days. Thanks for making this.
I had this comic about these twins. Their names were Bongo and Violet. I had a series of stories narrated by Violet's diary entries and I had developed some (admittedly one-dimensional) side characters on the way. When I started drawing as a hobby I redesigned the twins around 9000 times. That was fun.
I used to fold rectangles of paper into book-like shapes and then used the outer part to make the cover and the inside to make the comic, granted this was a stupid decision on kid me´s part because that did not give you much space, I started out doing this character named stick, who was a stick man, my comics detailed his mundane activities throwing in some cringy references and jokes. He also had a girlfriend by the name of Siri and I do not know, the character and I parted ways metaphorically and I have a fictional slopily drawn stickman to thank for my love of art and graphic design today.

I had something exactly like this! So it's about a fat drug addict called Ray , a criminal that refuses to pay his debts called Maddee, a secret agent baby who is also a daredevil called Ba, a cowboy called Dillon and a soldier called Jeff . They all fight this dude called logster who was a tree man and had a gang called logster's gangsters but then he contacted some kind of aliens then he got superpowers and caused the apocalypse. Now everyone has superpowers or has either died. Logster has clones that were basically off brand t-1000s from Terminator 2 but they kinda acted like a hivemind and infected people. There are giant sentient cockroaches living in the sewers. The remains of logster's gangsters now are the subway raiders. There are big red and horned mutants. Logster's cultists are everywhere and killing everyone. There is a giant crystal thing floating in the sky which is logster's palace. Now the good guys have to kill logster.
A good friend and I had a comic series, the Evil-Eye vs the Dot of Doom! We had so many characters and plot lines, it got really in depth. We even had personifications of ourselves that appeared in one or two issues, mine losing their head in their first appearance and continuing to be headless throughout the rest of the characters timeline.

I was in about 7th grade and was just doodling. I was going to doodle ice cream, but because I was bored I turned the ice cream into an eye, and give it arms with claws.

When I was younger, I had a similar thing. I drew these dorky chibi-esq cats- massive heads, shiny eyes and tiny skinny bodies. I always made new ones with different personalities, King Cat, Doctor Cat, Princess Cat, etc. I drew these things because in primary school I wasn't the most popular kid, and drawing was the only thing I had. The kids in class liked asking me to draw certain cats for them, and it was really the only way I felt admired and not overlooked. despite being over the top and loud, all the things adults told the kids they should be, the other kids didn't like me. I was dumb, I didn't really understand the fundimentals of maths, and drawing was all I had. I still have stacks of these cats drawn in small elementary books and sticky notes, and they mean a lot to me- mostly because now I've learned to pursue art not to make others happy, but for myself

This reminds me of a superhero I made in 4th grade- his name was Rubber Boynd, he was a guy with a giant rubber band for a body who could stretch & fling himself around. His first (& only) nemesis was the Centipen, a huge many-armed robot with a Sharpie for a head.
In third grade, I had a staple series of comics (by series I mean like 3 issues) called The Adventures of the AwesomeFrogs. It followed a tribe of frogs living in a swamp, and their misadventures as they were continually attacked by huge bees who wanted to kill them. (Yes I understand now that frogs are way bigger than bees, but this was childhood me, remember?) Anyway, I had about 2 issues and one of my best friends (we still hang out to this day) really liked the idea. I remember that one of the frogs got kidnapped and they had to go rescue him. In fact, I think that I could still recall their simplistic design, even after all these years...
I've came up with a lot of weird things in my childhood too. I was more towards drawing stick man I suppose, but I still have most of my childhood comics till this day. Today, I can draw pretty well. Cartoon-realism is my strongest style. But I've come to realize that there was a price to pay from the past with the future. My Drawings Now: - One-time artwork - Takes very long to draw - Almost 100% reference art - Looks pretty good My Drawings Then: - Hundreds of episodes full of imagination with of memorable characters that have their own story lines. - Manage to pump out 2-3 books of about 60 pages every year. - A ton of references used, but I've made a lot of original content as well so it balances out. - Who needs good artwork when you have a good story? - Not a lot of people read my stuff. But when they do, they would love it. Man, those were the days. I feel ya.
Austin what an awesome video because recently I remembered whenever I was in 6th grade I used to make my own comics in a similar fashion called Captain ninja and I guess they were based off Captain Underpants and Naruto but I recently bought a new Sketchbook and a book on how to draw so I could get back in the comics again
I wrote a bunch of comics with my 3 friends. I would draw while the other 3 gave ideas. Stories were about the 3 of us all being super heroes. I specifically remember every story starting with us eating at some sort of local eatery and hearing the sound of whatever conflict the story would be about
I did the same thing when I was a kid, except I folded 1 sheet of college ruled paper into thirds and then in half again, which gave me 12 equally sized "comic panels" to work with. I do still think about those comics sometime. I wish I could find them. I left them in a notebook in my closet at my parents house, but I'm pretty sure they've throw it away since then

I did a similar thing, where I wrote stories and drew comic books of a colorful Bouncy ball named Hüpfi (smth like "Jumpy") and his best friend, a purple snail named Lara. They lived in a flower field and they're biggest enemy was a mistreated dog whos owner was mean to him because his teeth hurt. It was genuinely really pure, because Lara had to trust Hüpfi since she was to slow too get out of danger herself, but Hüpfi needed Lara since she had the good ideas and plans. Ngl, it had some better plot lines then my current stories xD
A lot of my friends and even teachers read them, it was really amazing

I wrote a short comic of a turtle who’s parents were killed by another character called “Evil Man”. Shelly (the main protagonist) would always try his best to get vengeance on Evil Man, but Evil Man would always find a way to escape. However, about the third time they faced off, Shelly nearly killed Evil Man, and assumed he was dead. But that was when one of Evil Man’s “Henchmen” rescued him and gave him a cybernetic arm since his real one had been crushed.

I have a similar story like yours. In 2008, I created a comic book about a person named Michael and a talking pig called PiggyMcPig. The comic was called “Michael and PiggyMcPig”. They go on with their everyday lives, but almost all of the time, they do stuff that is a bit extraordinary. I drew them, and it was like a job/hobby to me back then. I thought that I will stop the series in 2009-2010, but somehow it kept going I drew them while the years gone by. I had a box of all the comics that I drew with them until 2016. The box somehow disappeared, and 8 years of hard work, just... vanished. I was really upset at the time, and I feel like I don’t want to do anything at all. My grades were falling, a lot of me also went away. It was one of the most darkest times in my life because I figuratively and literally put my blood, sweat and tears into my comic. But somehow in 2017, I decided to stop what I’m doing, and fix myself, so meanwhile I fix myself up, I decided to try again and draw the comic. It was going great, but I don’t want to repeat the last time with the box. So, I was deciding where to draw the comics meanwhile store in a safe place, then I turn to the internet. I set up my own website, download a free program to draw my comics, and that leads to now. 2018 was the 10th Anniversary of my comic, and I’m still creating comics with the name to this day. I don't understand what happens when I get to your channel, but every time I watch one of your videos I feel utterly relaxed and chill. It's like... I just want to listen to the story you're going to tell me and focus only on it, nothing else. I look for other RUclipsr's to laugh or to learn something, but with you... I remember having a single old school book that i filled up with stories and poems. None of them where good but i had that book for about five years and every inch was coved with almost all i wrote in that time. I used to read over it every now and again and it felt like i was watching myself grow and change. I lost it a few years back but still have some of the poems stuck in the back of my brain. Thanks for the cool vid dude it made me smile.
I also had lot of comics. I don't remember the first ones becouse they were mostly just one page shorts. But i had 2 comics series. 1st was "N00b" which i don't remember much, sadly but it was about guy called noob with his sidekick i don't remember name but it was about some run from something (maybe prisob break idk) and it was really WTF. It had like 10 epizodes and i remember for ex. He was sliding from top of mount everest or that he met president (i am czech and it was czech prezident).
The second one is called Róza and Pegina (named after my rabbit Róza and my aunts dog Pegina). It was about Róza joining racing competition but he got Pegina 1st round and pegina was like 10 in a row times winner and she always ate the one who lost. (I was cruel kid hehe). So Róza accepted his death and he tried to work out. Luckily his friend was Sťůí (1. Don't even try to pronounce it 2. Named after hamster of my friend). And he was juror for the race (the race had jury IDK i was wierd) and he picked race track that will benefit Róza. Róza won the race and punished Pegina with life ban of racing and Róza withdraw from the race. The end.

OMG. My childhood creation was a super hero form of my favorite stuffed animal "Mooey" and his name was Super Cow! :D It was an entire saga that I worked on for years including a book and hundreds of comics. Its actually the reason that I still draw to this day, and Ive been having thoughts about animating some of the old comics and scenes from that old book.
I also drew the bodies of the characters in the same way as you do, but the head design is different and ma cows had tails.
Of course ive updated the design immensely, but there is still a little bit of little me in every drawing.
My sister even had a super hero "Super pig" and super cow and super pig would go on adventures in ambitious crossovers.
Anyway I could go on forever about it, because it spanned and influenced so much of my life, but I gotta say its really quite strange to see something so similar to my own life depicted in your video.

After watching this video there are pieces that I've put together like the fact in the LG 15 video at 16:05, you said you were working on a series for 2 years. Now it's 2018, here you say you've been working on something big, I think my idea of a Moo Moo Man animated series is that big thing. I'm happy to be keeping up with your videos, it always makes my day to see one. :)

Did you make the frame rate really low at the beginning to make it look like stop motion?
I had a friend in kindergarten and we drew comics very similar to this, involving him and I fighting various monsters and villains.
Recently we happened to attend the same high school and we reconnected. I’m now working on bringing back the series, involving our other friends this time.
I think these things that we create as children are probably some of most precious memories we have, and they can not only remind us of what we love, but who we love.

I used to make comic books similarly. I would tie the bindings through the holes with the bit you tear off from the notebook. Sadly I trashed a lot of my ramshackle paper doodles at one point, luckily I still have my sketchbooks and index card collections. It's really good to look back at where you came from in regards to art. Because it's quite easy to become downtrodden and damage your own perception of your abilities, looking through old sketchbooks I am often more happy than I was making it.
Some how this video has kept me more engaged than most I've seen in a while thanks and can't wait to see what you've been working on but don't rush it we can wait.

Man, I can relate to everything you said. I also had a friend and also had a comic that we drew. We drew a lot of comics and he eventually had to leave because his dad was in the army (my friend switches schools often). I keep the very first comic that we drew with me. Whenever I feel demotivated I just remember the days where I was drawing those comics with him. Wished him a bright future
I've had my very own similar story, collaborated with a friend and created a comic book that spanned for years based on one of our teachers for some reason and it was a hit within our class, and I haven't seen that friend in years as well
I really hope Wesley would one day watch this video and smile for having this sweet shared memory

I remember in third grade I wrote and drew (with the help of a nice college intern) three issues of a comic titled "Skunkman". She even helped me bind them and the teacher let me read them to the entire class. I hadn't thought about it in years but your video took me right down memory lane. I actually still have all three issues on a shelf in my room. I'm gonna have to give them a read now.
I have an old trapper keeper from elementary school. Inside this trapper keeper is notebooks with stories, drawings, newspaper clippings, things i've printed out and all sorts of things from my childhood. It's probably been about 15 years since i've pulled it out and looked at it. This video has inspired me to dig it up again.
I wonder if trapper keepers are still a thing these days...

I drew a comic book with a friend in like, 2nd Grade. It was about a dragon-man hybrid named Leonard who fought some hooded figure. Those were the days. Thanks for making this.
holy shit, that is a satisfying way of announcing "something" is coming.
I had this comic about these twins. Their names were Bongo and Violet. I had a series of stories narrated by Violet's diary entries and I had developed some (admittedly one-dimensional) side characters on the way. When I started drawing as a hobby I redesigned the twins around 9000 times. That was fun.
I used to fold rectangles of paper into book-like shapes and then used the outer part to make the cover and the inside to make the comic, granted this was a stupid decision on kid me´s part because that did not give you much space, I started out doing this character named stick, who was a stick man, my comics detailed his mundane activities throwing in some cringy references and jokes. He also had a girlfriend by the name of Siri and I do not know, the character and I parted ways metaphorically and I have a fictional slopily drawn stickman to thank for my love of art and graphic design today.
Dude, take all the time you need to finish this mysterious big project of yours. No need to apologize for a long wait or anything like that. Just the sheer effort that goes into every bit of your work makes the end result worth it to me (and I assume the majority of your fans).
I had something exactly like this!
So it's about a fat drug addict called Ray , a criminal that refuses to pay his debts called Maddee, a secret agent baby who is also a daredevil called Ba, a cowboy called Dillon and a soldier called Jeff . They all fight this dude called logster who was a tree man and had a gang called logster's gangsters but then he contacted some kind of aliens then he got superpowers and caused the apocalypse. Now everyone has superpowers or has either died. Logster has clones that were basically off brand t-1000s from Terminator 2 but they kinda acted like a hivemind and infected people. There are giant sentient cockroaches living in the sewers. The remains of logster's gangsters now are the subway raiders. There are big red and horned mutants. Logster's cultists are everywhere and killing everyone. There is a giant crystal thing floating in the sky which is logster's palace. Now the good guys have to kill logster.
You seriously need more subscribers. Continue with this type of content and I know you'll go far man!
A good friend and I had a comic series, the Evil-Eye vs the Dot of Doom! We had so many characters and plot lines, it got really in depth. We even had personifications of ourselves that appeared in one or two issues, mine losing their head in their first appearance and continuing to be headless throughout the rest of the characters timeline.
I live for videos like these! You definitely inspire my own channel, I feel like *videos like this are what the brilliance of RUclips is.* Getting to tell YOUR story, those charming and tiny parts of your life that stick with you years later, because no one else can.

I was in about 7th grade and was just doodling. I was going to doodle ice cream, but because I was bored I turned the ice cream into an eye, and give it arms with claws.

When I was younger, I had a similar thing. I drew these dorky chibi-esq cats- massive heads, shiny eyes and tiny skinny bodies. I always made new ones with different personalities, King Cat, Doctor Cat, Princess Cat, etc. I drew these things because in primary school I wasn't the most popular kid, and drawing was the only thing I had. The kids in class liked asking me to draw certain cats for them, and it was really the only way I felt admired and not overlooked. despite being over the top and loud, all the things adults told the kids they should be, the other kids didn't like me. I was dumb, I didn't really understand the fundimentals of maths, and drawing was all I had. I still have stacks of these cats drawn in small elementary books and sticky notes, and they mean a lot to me- mostly because now I've learned to pursue art not to make others happy, but for myself

This reminds me of a superhero I made in 4th grade- his name was Rubber Boynd, he was a guy with a giant rubber band for a body who could stretch & fling himself around. His first (& only) nemesis was the Centipen, a huge many-armed robot with a Sharpie for a head.
This reminds me of my elementary comic series. The similarities of how we created and shared our conics is really interesting
In third grade, I had a staple series of comics (by series I mean like 3 issues) called The Adventures of the AwesomeFrogs. It followed a tribe of frogs living in a swamp, and their misadventures as they were continually attacked by huge bees who wanted to kill them. (Yes I understand now that frogs are way bigger than bees, but this was childhood me, remember?) Anyway, I had about 2 issues and one of my best friends (we still hang out to this day) really liked the idea. I remember that one of the frogs got kidnapped and they had to go rescue him.
In fact, I think that I could still recall their simplistic design, even after all these years...
I've came up with a lot of weird things in my childhood too. I was more towards drawing stick man I suppose, but I still have most of my childhood comics till this day.
Today, I can draw pretty well. Cartoon-realism is my strongest style. But I've come to realize that there was a price to pay from the past with the future.
My Drawings Now:
- One-time artwork
- Takes very long to draw
- Almost 100% reference art
- Looks pretty good
My Drawings Then:
- Hundreds of episodes full of imagination with of memorable characters that have their own story lines.
- Manage to pump out 2-3 books of about 60 pages every year.
- A ton of references used, but I've made a lot of original content as well so it balances out.
- Who needs good artwork when you have a good story?
- Not a lot of people read my stuff. But when they do, they would love it.

Austin what an awesome video because recently I remembered whenever I was in 6th grade I used to make my own comics in a similar fashion called Captain ninja and I guess they were based off Captain Underpants and Naruto but I recently bought a new Sketchbook and a book on how to draw so I could get back in the comics again
I wrote a bunch of comics with my 3 friends. I would draw while the other 3 gave ideas. Stories were about the 3 of us all being super heroes. I specifically remember every story starting with us eating at some sort of local eatery and hearing the sound of whatever conflict the story would be about
I did the same thing when I was a kid, except I folded 1 sheet of college ruled paper into thirds and then in half again, which gave me 12 equally sized "comic panels" to work with. I do still think about those comics sometime. I wish I could find them. I left them in a notebook in my closet at my parents house, but I'm pretty sure they've throw it away since then
