I was so worried until I did the math. So long as they finish, starry is safe. If they dnf, they just need the thunderbolts to not come first, and they are still safe. We should be good
Everyone from position 18 (Raspberry Racers) and up are guaranteed to move on after next race, but from 19 onward it's technically possible that they could be eliminated.
I think this is an improvement suggestion for the Survival 100: Mark in green teams that are mathematically safe for the week (although it should only happen on the last 2-3 days)
Why did they bring AZURE?! They’re a liability. Gnome would be better at this and they are literally the slowest marble on the team! Where is royal?! Royal clearly is actually good at racing proved by them absolutely dominating M1 and saving the Kobalts from Relegation in Showdown event 6.
13 teams can be eliminated tomorrow. Those being Green Ducks: Mallard just needs to finish the race tomorrow and they’ll be safe. All they need is one point. Just one. Savage Speeders: Speedy has been on a decline with each race. All they need is 3 points to be guaranteed safe. Mellow Yellow: Yellah had a great start but has just gotten mediocre results race after race. They need 5 points to be 100% safe. Purple Rockets: the only expansion team to not be safe yet. Saucer had multiple middle to poor performances but nothing special. 7 points tomorrow and they’ll see week two! Balls of Chaos: The worst team with a medal. Clutter has gotten 3 top half finishes including a bronze. Unfortunately, their other 3 races were extremely poor. Very inconsistent. 8 points and Clutter moves on. Minty Maniacs: A very similar game to the Rockets so far. Nothing flashy. Luckily you don’t have to be. All you gotta do is be better then two other marbles. Score 11 points tomorrow and Minty Mint is safe. Pinkies: Started this tournament very poorly. They’ve gotten 2 great finishes in the last 2 races. Get a 3rd one and you’ll won’t have to worry. 13 points is needed. Bumblebees: The worst reserve. Swax had a consistent pace but came to a halt on race 5 and forward. Swax has to get 19 points to be completely safe from the bottom 2 Midnight Wisps: Wospy’s highest finish in this tournament is 15th. That’s the worst score from every other competitor. 28 points and they’ll be fully clear for week 2. Oceanics: Worst Captain so far. Them and the Wisps are the only ones to not score in the 20’s yet. 29 points tomorrow and you won’t in any way be eliminated. Team Momo: Just outside the bottom 2. Last 3 races has just been abysmal. 32 points to be fully safe to compete for week 2. Thunderbolts: Shock is currently in the elimination zone. This first week has been one to forget. They’re fairly close to the 3 teams above them. 8 points separates them from the Wisps. Let’s see if Shock can pull a shocker performance tomorrow to escape the bottom 2. Kobalts: last and definitely least. Azure. Only 1 good round being in race 3. Only 46 points. 12 points behind the Bolts and 16 points away from Momo. Azure has to aim for an amazing race tomorrow because they need it. Obviously all the teams not in the elimination zone can also just do better than both Shock and Azure tomorrow and be safe as well. Let’s see which 2 marbles are gonna be eliminated on week 1!
@bobh6728 Galactic has the tiebreaker with their second best performance, both would have a gold, so the 27 in R4 for Starry would beat Shock's 26 in R3.
Looked like the O'rangers had it but them getting stuck really slowed them down a lot. Still a decent points haul though! And I'm liking that showing by my legendary Red Eye!
Can we talk about Aryp's hurdle of the ramp at 1:16? Definitely gave that racer a good lead but nearly lost it getting stuck on another ramp for a moment.
Spoilers: I swear I just saw a reddit post about how someone was grateful that the Oceanics weren't in the bottom two yet, and then this?? Oceanics fans need to pray 😢😢
So glad we got to see more of the course and the jockeying for position this time, thanks guys! My Snowballs are clilmbing the ranks, so hopefully we can stay consistent. They did well in this style event in the Marble League, so I hope they make a good showing in this event.
Spoilers: Teams that might can still fall to an elimination spot -Green Ducks 92 (58+34) -Savage Speeders 91 (58+33) -Mellow Yellow 89 (58+31) -Purple Rockets 87 (58+29) -Balls of Chaos 86 (58+28) -Minity Maniacs 83 (58+25) -Pinkies 81 (58+23 ; 46+35) -Bumblebees 75 (58+17 ; 46+29) -Midnight Wisps 66 (58+8 ; 46+20) -Oceanics 65 (58+7 ; 46+19) -Team Momo 62 (58+4 ; 46+16) Teams currently on elimination spots: -Thunderbolts 58 (62-4) -Kobalts 46 (62-16) P.S. Team Galactic with 83 (58+35) points is save due to better second best result in case of a tie break with the Thunderbolts
What an amazing day to be a [SPOILERS] Team Galactic and Team Primary fan! Galactic may have finally escaped the risk of elimination with their performance today--tense and exciting. Looking forward to tomorrow's race.
If I'm doing the maths right, anyone above Team Galactic is safe, and anyone below is at risk of elimination. If Starry herself DNFs in the final race, and Shock finishes first, they tie on points.
From some quick math: Every team from #1st to #18th are guaranteed safe from elimination! More than that might also technically be safe, since only one marble can get first place and the full 35 points in the next race.
I love seeing this type of content. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of your series, mabula one is my favorite. But I know the channel is a work of passion and love, and this will hopefully drive lots of views with new style content and lots of small videos that ideally don’t take too long for you to make. I think it would be interesting if 1st place every week got some sort of bonus the next week. Maybe not immunity, but perhaps they get some bonus points to start the next week
I was thinking the same thing. Especially for these first few weeks. Give first 10 points to start next week, second 5 points and 3rd 3 points. Make it happen Jelle!
How about a split screen of the front and the back? If we have to choose just one, the focus should probably be on the back... At least it should every 7 races.
I’m glad the orangery and team galactic are doing good, but my third favorite the thunderbolts are on the bubble. 4 points below the cut line, we have to beat momo by 4 positions. I think we’ll get lucky and shock has at least one clutch race in him. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
So as far as I can tell, there are three different tiers to the placements heading into Race 7: Top Tier: Places 1-18. These teams are safe from elimination. No worries for them. The Kobalts basically need to finish in the top half in the final race, something they've only done once. The Thunderbolts have the other hot seat, but Team Momo, Oceanics, and Midnight Wisps are all close enough in striking distance. Bumblebees basically have to place last or DNF to get the bottom spot, but a low enough placement will finish them if the other teams do well. I really wish I knew how to do odds of elimination math, cause goddamn I'd be dropping so many stats right now if I knew. Edit: Also, *cough* #HazeAmaze
Woooo hazers ain't posting another dnf. That wasn't going to happen. And my backup team the pinkies finally getting it done and pulling themselves into a safe position
I hope Jelle and all the people bind this AMAZING format are reading this: if you can handle 30+ marbles now, PLEASE, when there will be only half of the team, PLEASE, have at least two marbles for each time! and the same it's true going on, at least up until when you'll have one quarter of the team but 4 marbles for each team!
Great race as always! Let's see who will go home tomorrow, and who will take the weekly win. 😁 SPOILER AHEAD Starry, you are a legend! That was a great run and a much needed win! Awesome race! 😁 Keep it up and #ReachForTheStars in the next week! 😄
Raspberry Racers SPOILERS: ARE MOVING ON! wooo after that DNF i was worried but several solid performances have put them right above the can't possibly loose this week line!
Im a fan of the format, I know theres been a decent amount of fan input. Had you all considered a winner bonus in the early weeks? There will have to be a format change eventually, but immunity for furst place would make winning more impactful.
I know there is now one more race to go, but c'mon thunderbolts, you have to play yourself into the next round. I hope shock has been saving himself for the last race. If not, it's time to hang it up and retire.
Wow if I understand it correctly, Team Galatic is safe even if they finish last and the Thunderbolts finish first because it would be a tie. Then the tiebreaker would go to who had the next best finish and would be TG due to their 6th place finish in r4 Talk about cutting it close
The object is not necessarily to win, but just to survive to race another day. This is a new type of race, and the marbles are still developing their strategies on the fly. Should you try to get out in front early and trip the traps without becoming a victim yourself, or should you hang back and let the front runners take the brunt of the traps so you can hopefully skate by unimpeded?
This competition was built for the Jungle Jumpers, we are always consistent. We have missed qualifications not because of poor finishes, but because we don't usually have outstanding ones.
Great job by RED EYE to put this event to bed for CCE. Life is good. Huge thanks to Jelle and Greg as always for their excellent work. ----- Thunderbolts rough break but they're second to last. Still doable. Hoping shocky saved all his charge for this last round.
At 1:32 in the video, O'rangers were in first and lost a ton of ground. From 1st to 16th in five seconds. They got almost all of them back on the next obsticle, though.
You know a survival series is well designed when you can be pleased to see your guy in the middle of the standings.
😂 So true. Go Rojo Rollers.
Yeah, I think Racers did well enough these past two races that they're not too threatened. Just hoping they get no more DNF tomorrow.
@@felixjimmyleon The racers are actually safe by one point, even if they dnf and the bolts get 1st they'll be one point short of the racers

Fenrir popping off. Let’s gooooo 🐺
Everyone from position 18 (Raspberry Racers) and up are guaranteed to move on after next race, but from 19 onward it's technically possible that they could be eliminated.
19th (Starry, Galactic) is safe by tiebreaker. 20 and below at risk, Kobalts need top half finish and help to avoid the cut.
I think this is an improvement suggestion for the Survival 100: Mark in green teams that are mathematically safe for the week (although it should only happen on the last 2-3 days)
What a clutch player Starry is. Always a joy to watch them roll

HUGE result for Team Galactic today. They went from hovering on the edge of elimination to a spot of safety.

Starry, you are a legend! That was a great run and a much needed win! Awesome race! 😁 Keep it up and #ReachForTheStars in the next week! 😄
Raspberry Racers SPOILERS:
ARE MOVING ON! wooo after that DNF i was worried but several solid performances have put them right above the can't possibly loose this week line!
No woman in this world can ever play with my feelings the same way Starry does in this tournament...
Minty mainacs need to get there stuff together. If they continue with performances like this they will be out by the second cut off point
As a TMO stan, this has been nail-biting.
Im a fan of the format, I know theres been a decent amount of fan input. Had you all considered a winner bonus in the early weeks? There will have to be a format change eventually, but immunity for furst place would make winning more impactful.
Been a rollers fan since 2016, love to see them do average 😂
Starry finally won a race, this could be important for them
This new series is awesome. Just swing on by for a fun little 2 minute race, and get your quick fix of marble content.
Then the tiebreaker would go to who had the next best finish and would be TG due to their 6th place finish in r4
Talk about cutting it close
Come on CHOCOLATEERS!
0:58 Swax getting absolutely nuked on that yellow block... Pretty bad race for Bees but fingers crossed they will go to the next week!
Another great day to be a hazers fan
I truly hope Kobalts don't get eliminated 😬💙
Don't worry, team Momo will manage another disappointing DNF and help you out.
Royal should’ve been a better choice than Azure
And I was just talking good about Oceanics last round. Oh you guys no how to disappoint
The next one's for all the marbles.
Red Eye ran so smoothly. He is totally in his element now. #EyesOnThePrize

Thunderbolts rough break but they're second to last. Still doable. Hoping shocky saved all his charge for this last round.
He's Red Eye for a reason. I absolutely love him. I think they should make merch just dedicated to Red Eye because of how incredible he is.
Savage Speeders are leading the Middle of the Pack! Let’s go!
Spoilers
I think Stary just saved Galactic from elimination this round, what an absolute great run today!
TURTLE SLIDERS PUT UP ANOTHER GREAT PERFORMANCE!!! GO TURTLES!!!!
At 1:32 in the video, O'rangers were in first and lost a ton of ground. From 1st to 16th in five seconds. They got almost all of them back on the next obsticle, though.
