    ABOUT US
Female comedy duo Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley have been performing, teaching, and writing comedy internationally for a combined 40+ years. They have been moms for one quarter of that time and it shows. How do they cope? They laugh about all of the craziness that comes with being a mom and they want you to laugh about it too! From snot to stretchmarks to sleepless nights, Kristin and Jen know firsthand that parenting is a hard job and they invite you to join them in taking it all a little less seriously (even if for a few short minutes a day). After all, Jen currently has four days of dry shampoo in her hair and Kristin’s keys are still in her front door. They try, they fail, they support each other, and they mom as hard as they can.

I am dying laughing at Jen accidentally saying about the coyotes “you stick their finger in your butt” instead of stick YOUR finger in THEIR butt. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Regarding trusting your gut: women are trained to be nice and to worry about offending other people. This is not bad in theory, but not to the extent of not speaking up or leaving when someone or a situation isn't safe. This extendeds to having the courage to just walk away from that rare person who literally can't stop talking but is either too neurotic to stop or refuses to respect a boundary I've set.

I think that Kristin would be the best prepared to do the finger-in-the-coyote-butt approach after all of her training to save us all from dehydration via clean water enemas. All I can think about with hysterical strength is that it was the premise of the Bill Bixby "Incredible Hulk" series. David Banner was unable to save his wife and child because his body did not give the hysterical strength response when he needed it. So he hit himself with gamma rays to create the response if he needed it, and that made him turn into the Incredible Hulk when he was provoked. (There wasn't a lot to watch on TV back in the late 70s, obviously.)

This momma-speech episode had me laughing! I worked as a children, youth, and family caseworker when my kids were little and my speech always entailed that everyone is a “creepy pee-pee toucher”. To this day, as my children are now young adults, they will now tell me the same when I am going somewhere. 😅
