i love how much wisdom your dad has shared with us. Him saying “you don’t wish for things you work for it” actually snapped me out of my victim mindset I’ve been having. And can’t means won’t will also be another advice I will be keeping in mind especially as someone who’s at the start of their 20s this is a great reminder. I’ve learned a lot through your parents’ episodes and have gained hope that I can break generational curses and build a solid family like yours.
Happy father’s day and Happy birthday, Mr. Alexander!

Fr same. It made me snap out of it. Maybe I should rlly work on myself instead of complaining. Ive been unnecessarily bringing my own self esteem down by having such victim mindset when I could just be working harder to better myself. Big love to the Alexander family. And big respect to your parents bc they've done such a great job raising their kids. I hope to be a parent like them one day

Its because they grew up in a safe home i think its also the same psychology when you start crying during an argument. Most people who cannot control themselves during an argument to not cry are unconsciously afraid to be judged because think they can‘t express themselves. Its also mostly the case if you have bad past experiences or never been in such confrontations. Just make yourself believe that you can always stand up for yourself. But i‘m not an expert so take my words with a grain of salt.

KIDING ASIDE. Watching this I realized that I am so lucky that my family and I had a healthy relationship. I just graduated from college, and your dad was right that your cool friends will not be with you after (they're not even helping you pay your bills bro), because at the end of the day you go home to your family no matter how far you've come. I was wheezing, crying (your dad's childhood and how he raised you guys to be loving and intact), and learned something about LIFE. Thank you for this, Beautiful Twin Sisters! To be honest, this episode is THE podcast.
