While companies like Traxxas are trying to sue their way to profits, FMS is out there providing the community what they want.

The thing I really love about FMS is they make very good and affordable vehicles. They enable people particularly the budget conscious to get into the hobby. This is not perfect but the upgrades can be done later, which is actually the fun part of the hobby, with great support and a lot of hop up parts available from them or other aftermarket brands, this makes it possible for the rc community to grow. The scale features on this plus the licensed Toyota badge beat the RC4WD FJ40 by a mile. I am definitely getting one thank you FMS! ❤️

I bought a hobbywing fusion pro. OMG! it's amazing.
Maybe it was bad settings of stock trx4, but when braked on slope, it had a little neutral changing direction and would run away a little.
But tested Pro on a measured 35 degree angle. And the brake, direction change is solid. The slow speed is fantastic.
Not even used the tuning card yet.
But a stunning upgrade. Totally in love with my crawler right now.

Wow FMS is the jewel of the RC market. I already have Jeep YJ and Hilux from FMS.

Got mine today, the truck is amazing, it reminds me of Christmas morning when I was 10 and the yellow paint is perfect. Replaced the stock esc because it kept lurching forward. Put a Hobbywing 1080 in it, not sure if I should set the BEC to 6.0 volts to protect the lights and the steering wheel servo. Want to get more scale wheels and tires. Then pop some My Trick RC lights and light controller and I'm good to go, until I put a Hobbywing pro in it.

    • @RCReviewChannel
      @RCReviewChannel  11 месяцев назад

"It would be interesting a comparative firstly original and then, immediately, with better tires, shock absorbers, and electronics! I see the LEDs missing from the rear bumper (I can't see it...), and the roof rack is an item that harms the visuals of the car... unfortunately in one of the images, the camera shows the roof inside. The rack... is so grotesque. You can remove the rack by many holes in the chest :(... But nothing is perfect, and I believe that the value is incredible🙌"
Great comment. I'll definitely remove the rack and see how it looks and performs. I'll make a video on it.

I'm knit picking here but FMS got the color a reversed. I'm old enough to remember the iconic FJ color was the green (salted duck egg) with the white top. Second color would be the sahara yellow like the one in 1/6th Jimny. This golden yellow should be in that old Jimny, that's the original color of the actual old Jimny! Regardless, it's a beautiful truck - all FMS RCs are!

The wheelbase is 13.3 inches so it needs that from the chassis. In most cases, it won't fit Axial or Traxxas chassis because nothing can be on the driver cabin area. All that space needs to be empty with the motor and electronics out of the way.

The FJ experts can correct me on this but the only thing missing from the outside appearance is manual front hub locks. I seem to remember alot of these having that feature. Very similar to the Ford front hub locks from that era. Edward Cruz mentioned black rubber window gaskets and this thing is perfect. Needs a half finished glass bottle of RC cola, a bag from Fosters Freeze on Dey La Vina street on the passenger seat and a Powell Peralta skateboard in the back.

Yeah. You'd be out tens of dollars to fix it.

Yeah, I can fix that easy. The D1RC Defender that I have nailed it. Just need some heavy damping.and it will look darn good.

@RCReviewChannel the ONLY reason they call it 1:10 scale is cause so many in the US complained when FMS put the TRUE scale of 1:6 on the box of the MB Scaler, and the LC10 Jimny. "Its not 1:6 scale its 1:10 scale" echoed out of the US community like you would not believe, SO when the Mashigan came out they put 1:10 on the box.........NOBODY COMPLAINED ANYMORE!!!

Decent point but I’ll have to disagree there.
