hi this is the pinned comment where I'll write down any corrections or mistakes I might've made :)
- Real quick, as I was uploading this video I realized that on 1:55 when I talk about edge guarding and how most people prefer using Pyra to edge guard, I didn't mean for it to sound like Mythra sucks off stage. Because she's actually a pretty okay edge guarder, and she can get the job done even if her aerials don't kill, because a lot of the time, getting rid of your jump alone is enough for you to not make it back. Still, she is a fast faller, which means her edge guards might be harder for her to time, but, whatever, they both have good moves to use off stage lol

Every single Pyra player online will repeat this process until they get a hit:
"BLAZING END" > _whiffs_ > *rolls in direction of sword*
Find a way to deal with that and you've beaten 85% of online Aegis players.

The crazy thing about Mythra is that on top of just being able to throw shit out to have some of the best pressure in the game, but she can also kill mad early for a character of that archetype.
She’s literally “what if we gave Sheik and Joker an insanely good sword AND bats within”
On top of that this character is stupid easy lol.

These characters are the biggest pain in the ass to play against since they literally have no match ups whatsoever lmfao

Excellent video! Something else I want to add is that Mythra's attacks aren't safe on shield in the slightest. I know it's easy to feel overwhelmed, but you can punish pretty much anything she does. Pyra on the other hand can safely poke your shield and punish you for trying to punish her, so you gotta be careful. Pyra's Forward Tilt is deceptively safe, especially when spaced correctly.

I think when you make these vids, you should mention what type of punisn they're prone to being hit with. For instance, steve's aggressive defensive playstyle makes him good to whiff punish. Simply watching the video made me realize I was attributing the wrong game plan to deal with them, I should be playing more around shield and not trying to only out-whiff punish the best neutral in the game

Also mythra has some of the laggiest dodges in the game and theyre grabable when foresight is active.

A toxic/stupid thing I do whenever I play them is that for 1 stock I stay as 1 of them. Then the 2nd I swap. And the 3rd I do a mix of both. This includes when I'm the one down stocks. Or my opponent is down stocks.
Why I do this is beyond me. But hey. Maybe it can help as a mind game. That I know something they don't to why I don't swap to the other lol

"how to beat Aegis" is just more like playing mind games against your opponent to the point where they can't even win with Aegis. Yeah you could do that against other characters. But you've no choice against Aegis. Cause they're that stupid. And some people wanted to ban Steve or even Kazuya. Course noob me is guilty of wanting to ban Steve or even min min.
