7 eco-terrorists disliked these videos because some people might see this as another possible reason for the level of rising oceans. I mean if the ice is melting due to global warming, couldn't all these volcanoes also be warming up the planet with their gases or underwater activities? Of course not, PLAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!

Volcanic activity is a natural process on this planet, due to its composition and the plates that float about above the mantle, the regions where they meet are in constant abrasion and collision with each other, and as they push and squeeze due to their movement, it gives birth to all kinds of amazing things. Look at the Ring of Fire and its highly active volcanoes. The Earth is a crazy place that is wonderful to keep an eye on. I visited Mt. Bromo in Indonesia years ago, and whilst it was nothing in comparison to some of these really active volcanoes, it was a rather interesting experience indeed, plus if you ever have the chance to visit Santorini, in Greece, well, that is another amazing place. Its original volcano blew itself to bits in a major way and now, the newer reborn island in the middle is another interesting place to wander around.

This video is great, but I’d like to offer a suggestion. Ok, actually a couple suggestions, but around the same idea. A lot of us watch things like this on our phones. It would make it much easier to read the notes you add if the font was larger. In a similar vein, longer blocks of writing are hard to read on almost any screen, so it makes them easier to process if they are broken up into a few sentences at a time and put up one after the other. I love the videos you put together and hope this is only taken as constructive criticism.

According to the japanese coastguard the action in 2021 did not bring any real new lava flows and the island did not expand this year

i started seeing this back in 2013 dec to january of the following year, i watched grow. but seeing the 2020 picture showed that it had a large enough eruption to have destroyed the old cone with a small crater and formed a somewhat small caldera

There is some new footage from april 2023 where the current crater wall has collapsed. No big new eruption, but it looks like it could be coming real soon now

Is it big enough to withstand the ocean or is it going to disappear from erosion?

  • @MyerShift7

Is its lava unusually cool, or what exactly? I noticed it (the lava) doesn't show in the daytime like Kilauea or Piton de la Fournaise, but is very visible with the infrared (naturally).

I think the point from where pictures and videos are taken makes it hard to see the lava. At day light you could net see the lava at lapalma as well. A closeby good quality cam is not possible here. The lava will have about the same temperature here as in the other eruptions you mention
