- The Beatles arrive to London from U S A
this is the interview for BBC channel program "Grandstand"
Feb 22, 1964. at the London Airport.
Here, we can hear Ringo Starr saying "Tomorrow never knows".
One of the most celebrates "RINGO-ISM" with "A hard day`s night"
Ringo: You can't play you know what can you say Y'know? Tomorrow never knows.
John: **wheeze**
You can't blame it*
I mean HOW lucky are we that the origin of Tomorrow Never Knows is caught on camera like this? That's great! John finds it funny at least and he must have remembered. I love Ringo's ringoisms.
i love ringo
1:41
Ringo: What can ya say? Tomorrow Never Knows.
John: HHHHHHH-
1:50 George "I didn't get it when they said we're earning all these dollars for Britain, are we sharing it out?"
A couple of years later George gets it, and writes 'Taxman'.
george's laugh gives me life
1:42 The genesis of one of the most innovative songs of all time. Thank you, Ringo!
This is my favorite set-up for their interviews, when Ringo is in the lead. It shows how much the other three really loved him and liked giving him the spotlight.
1:42 That quote would stay with John for the next two years
1:42 You can just feel the creative wheels turning for John and Paul.
Only for John I think... That sentence look just too strange or irrational for Paul's creative mind in his reaction...but pure gold for Lennon.
2:33. George and John laughing because of Ringo 😂
I love this interview. All smiles and laughter.
✌🏼❤️⭐️
there is ringo quoting a song from their future 'tomorrow never knows'
John quoting the song do you want to know a secret lead vocal by George when talking about Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali!
I like to imagine Ringo's line 'tomorrow never knows' echoing inside John's musical brain, thinking about the complexities of such a phrase that Ringo would never understand, until he decided it would make a perfect title for one of the first ever psychedelic songs.
What makes you think ringo could never understand
Bit presumptuous to claim Ringo would never understand...
Love💜 George’s distinctive laugh!
Coming home after only 15 days, leaving a different world in their wake.
You can see by the way John reacts he's really into the phrase :-)
In 3:39 min John is hilarious!!
I'm glad to watch this interview in its entirety for the very first time! Thank you very much :)
i had the speed on 0,75 % and i thought everybody was just super relaxed , a little high or drunk ....
then when the glitch became obvious , i realized :D
My favorite word word that George says in "around" random I know but he says it in a lot of interviews the same way unique to him LOL
Fantastici ❤
The future, is the past!!!
The past is the FuturE!
@@HannahFaith69 Was*
"it was every bit as good-"
"it was better!!"
"ok, it was better"
how they all said it in unison😂😂
The true Cancerian, that split second of self-realization where Ringo realizes that what he just said was GENIUS.
Ringo starts the best tune of the 20th Century here
1:42
Love what they say about Muhammed Ali
John : Do you want to know a secret? 😂😂😂
1:41 "The moment"
