To those who are getting always 44/45 you are not missing a box..but when you die at the end and start from the last checkpoint DONT forget to smash again that box above you right away when you respawn..🤯I was crying when I realized that..
I was just replaying this game, and I finally figured out why the jetpack levels are so discombobulating. If you have left momentum, and then do a 180 spin to reverse directions, the momentum is conserved relative to Crash, not the environment, so the momentum is suddenly going in the opposite direction. Which is probably easier to program, but not how physics works at all. Not a huge deal except when you're moving left to avoid Nitros, and then flip directions and suddenly are moving towards the Nitros.
For those missing that last box, there is a box behind the transparent tube immediately after the first 3 boxes

Above one of the checkpoint boxes, there is a box. Don’t forget to break that whenever u respawn there in case u die.
I wish it was understood that a periodic checking of the box total is incredibly helpful on these run throughs. Regardless, thank you for the help.
