Thought I'd give this filling a shot and it worked out well. I didn't top the pie with crust and used the one I'm used to but the filling was pretty terrific. I like the butter trick.
You use a 1/4 cup of flour and a cup of butter + salt and water for the crust ????? I think it will take a little more then 1/4 cup of flour !!!!!!!! Maybe you meant to say 2 and 1/2 cups of flour
