I understand the heel issue but honestly breaking them in and chasing the insole to a more thinner one helped solve the issue for me.

I definitely had heel issues out of box and just kept working the material to soften it up. Bending it back squishing it. Now it’s no issue and I love it.

Like you said if and when you get your hands on a Wide version of these and the furons, a sizing review on them would be greatly appreciated. 442 v2 Pro Wide size 9 work great for me.
I reckon it would be the same mate, 9.5 US. The width changes but the length is still a 9.5 for me
I tried my normal size 8 1/2 us and had heal issues, completely disappeared when I went 1/2 size up. Great boot!

Hey Noah, I’m looking for an AG boot to get and considering between these and the furon (ag) but the only AG new balance makes in the tekela are laceless. Do you think the laceless models offer enough lockdown for someone with ankle sprain issues? Or do you think it’s better to go with the furon?

I don’t love theAG plate NB uses, while it’s very safe, it’s very flexible and not very responsive.

Hey again, i just want to ask when is the 1 month review of these going to come out? I was wondering how durable are they on the AG pitches as I'm aware that on some boots the upper can rip, or part away from the outsole when playing on AG so I wanted to know if it would be the case with the tekelas

Hey guys I got both the normal and the wide version. I have wide feet and like to feel my toes spread out in my shoes instead of bunched up together. Anyways, I can confirm 100% the wide version is extremely more comfortable and easy going for my feet. Even though the normal width isn’t bad the wide version is just so well fitting for wide feet that I had to leave my experience written here for others.

I’m struggling to find the right cleats due to Achilles tendinosis and Haglund’s deformity. The compression of the Phantom GX2s aggravated my Achilles (too much compression), and while the Copa Pure 2.1 Elite and 442 v2 Pro were easier on my Achilles, their heels weren't padded enough for my Haglund's. My broken-in Maestri CTR360 III cleats are great due to their flexibility, but I’m finding it tough to match that comfort in the heel. Do you think the Tekela V4 Pro might be worth trying, or do you have other recos? We have nearly the exact same foot shape so I appreciate your thoughts!

Tekelas have low key become my #1 pick. The comprarison to the magistas is spot on. I balled out in HS with the magistas and these feel probably even better. I do have the standard V4 & went true to size and got them just right.

Thinking about buying the V4 low or Tiempo Legend Elite. Both are on sale for 150€. Or take the bugdget choice and go with the Morelio Neo IV pro for 100€. Any recommendations?

Love your content, it’s super useful. I’d be interested to know what your go to match boot is, if you had to pick just one boot. I’ve just picked up the Neo 4 Japan and the Adler Horenso and Yatagarashu.
I’ve short listed Neo 4s and tekela 4+ for my next boot, but I’ve been curious about Adler Yatagarashu too. How have you liked both the neo and the Adler boots??
For me it’s really close, the Adler boots are full leather and extremely comfortable but the Neo fit and comfort is perfect. The Neo edged it for me, but there wasn’t much in it. In fact the Horenso was a close second. For context I’ve tried everything, latest predators, crazy fast plus and full Nike ranges. The Neo are the best to date.
Just add, I went a whole size down in the Neo. My feet are 27.1cm UK SIZE 9 and I went for an 8. For me this was a perfect tight fit before breaking them in.

Im surprised you went half a size up. I went true to size and i have a narrow heel, medium to wide midfoot and a wide toe box.
I did feel a squeeze of pressure in the midfoot that would cramp me up after an hour of play when i was breaking them in. However that went away after the three uses. Now they feel solid, very glove fit, comfy, NB did a great job with the heel padding.
Really underrated pair.
That's good to hear mate! I go 1/2 size up for the length, which fits about 1/4-1/2 size small

So I know they’re not exactly apples to apples, but given the choice between tekela 4+ and a Mizuno Morelia neo IV (regular or beta, elite of MIJ), which would you prefer? I’ve shortlisted these for my next boot based on following your vids over the past half year or so. I know you like some Asics models too that compare more to Mizunos but I’m still leaning toward Mizuno. Thoughts?
Both are great options mate, but the most important thing is what FITS you the best!
Hey Noah, I was wondering how does tekela toebox compare to furon? I got tekela and love them, but feel like the toebox is too round or too large in a way for my taste. Would you say they are similar or is there a significant enough difference in furon?
Tekelas are a bit more round and higher volume. You might find the Furon to be perfect!
Hey Noah, how's the widht and volume on these compared to the accuracy .1 low's? I have fairly wide feet and currently have those preds but am in need of new boots and none of the stores near me carry them so online shopping will have to do 😅
Similar mate! They're great for wide feet, just remember to go up 1/2 size for the length compared to the preds

Dear Noah, I've noticed that these boots need half size up. The previous model (copper) is also half size up or true ti size? The new model haven't arrived yet and the copper model is 40% off
That's why I recommend that sizing in all my Tekela videos 🤝 The copper ones should be up 1/2 size as well.

It really depends on the person, for me Furon lockdown was much worse than Tekela V4 Low.

Furon for me! Both are great though
Every other brand should learn a stud pattern from this boot. Especially inside part of forefoot. Other patterns is slipery when one lean boots.

I'd go for the discounted v4 for now! Remember to go up 1/2 size regardless of what you choose though 🤝

Hi, would the upper provide enough protection for Sunday league as I am a winger but would like at least some protection??
Probably not. I don't often fuss with protection, FIT is the most important thing. That being said if you absolutely must have better protection I'd go with a leather model

How long should a good pair of boots last? I know that is a somewhat loaded question but for middle school to high school player with one to two games a week plus practices, what are your thoughts?
Depends on how often you wear them and on what surface! 🤝 I'd say on average 8-12 months per pair for 3-4x playing a week, 6-9 months 5-6x week
