I started my fashion journey a year ago with few online fashion courses...then I started my youtube channel, and now, literally yesterday, my first fashion related column got published in an online magazine! Everything is possible if you are passionate and tactical!
@@mahfuzurrahman4853 I took 3 fashion related courses - Personal styling at London school of trends, Editorial styling at Milan Fashion Campus, and History of fashion at Glamobserver academy. Didn't regret taking any of them! If you want to find out more, head over to my channel where I created reviews for each of them. Good luck with your fashion journey!
I did do some styling at Nordstrom in the early days of my career. I enjoyed it. But the crazy hours and young kids at home are what kept me away from pursuing it further. I still love fashion, and admire those who go for it.
Hey Basia! I'm Here to express my gratitude for what whatever I learned from you. I'm a freelance male Personal stylist now working with international clients and staring to earn good enough and its all thanks to your ideals, knowledge and the learning of your past experience that you have shared here which has helped in my journey as a stylist
This was fabulous and I love that broke the difference in each styling position and adding different books 📚 that would help check sheet a bonus plus 🥰👚👠 🛍 Let’s get to Styling 🥰🥰
Thank you as always! So here’s the thing! I’m a fashionista who dresses well without the expenses. I’m pursuing more of personal stylist. I am not really knowledgeable on the high end of fashion, but I know that some people can spend a lot of money and not look as well(I’m not being mean). I believe at times emphasis are placed on the brand of something when at times it doesn’t come together well. All this to say, I’d like to save my clients money while still getting paid for my services..Any tips? 🙃
Well, first of all, you have to figure out who is your client. Create an avatar. Where do they work, how old they are, what do they do for a living. Many clients won't need a stylist or won't spend $ for a stylist if they don't want to spend $ on a good wardrobe that's just a reality. They will go to h&m and will get whatever they need. On another hand, everyone wants to have a good quality wardrobe for a good price and if you can provide good quality looks for cheaper then lots of your potential clients will love it. Check out The Real Real they have all high-end designers for good prices. Hope this helps!
Basia Richard thank you so much! I get exactly what you are saying! It makes sense. I have created my avatar, your uploads have been great. Thanks so much, looking fwd to next Monday!
