Clever! Looks professional. You are gonna be the envy of the job site now.
I don’t know what the regulations are here, for commercial worksites. I only do small residential digs. But, if I had to put that in my baby backhoe I would make it with temporary mounts. Because it is bigger than my whole operators station… and there is no place to mount it that isn’t in the way.
Please pardon me but, I had to smile at your hand drilled hole alignment issue. I am working on a project where two pieces of wood are joined with wooden dowels. I was able to drill the holes in one piece with the Shopsmith. The other part was oddly shaped, so I decided to wing it and hand drill the holes.
You guessed it… they didn’t align. So, I turned some plugs on the lathe, glued them in the holes and after they dried, started over. This time, I figured out how to mount them on the Shopsmith and they came out perfect… two days extra work just because I thought I was good enough to hand drill the holes!!!
    Stay warm bud!

Thank you, I am going to try a magnetic mount for the skid steer, the magnet I use for my GoPro mount is 150lbs pull strength, so I’m thinking that four of those may work.
Your comment about the hand drilled holes may just convince my wife I at least need a drill press! Lol thank you, thank you, thank you!

@@dizzydigger7083 you’re welcome… even a bench top drill press is leagues ahead of an electric hand drill… just try putting gate hinge bolts in a round post that are square and plumb…. using a brace and bit! It’s even worse!

Nice work. You could make some money building those for folks in your area.
    God Bless!!!

Thanks, there’s not much room in these cabs, so you got to find room where you can.

Lol, I hear ya. Those pads have saved me from having a bigger mess to clean up, especially when a hydraulic line breaks

It’s absorbent materials to soak up any leaks that may happen on the equipment. Super handy to when you are changing a hose in a tight spot where you can’t get a drain tray in. Thank you for watching!!
