Yeah, they are great books. The cool thing is now with google translate, you can actually read them if you don’t know Japanese. They do have great drawings for sure, but not always the most accurate I’ve found. The skyray comes to mind. Beautiful drawing but the nose is drawn incorrectly on that one unfortunately.
WOW! (at 4:15) 😅 Mirage III RS (and BS) were the Swiss Air Force's interceptors. In my opinion the best jets we have ever had. Even then Mach-2 and very manoeuvrable aircraft in the mountains. At that time there was a flight meeting together with US Air Force jets; I think it was an F-14 Tomcat whose pilot took part in a mountain flight and then explained that in an emergency he would not have had a chance against the Mirage. As a delta jet enthusiast, I'm very excited for the Hustler's maiden flight. 👍
Missed the livestream, the whole video is very nicely done! Big thanks to Joe for his expertise and Lee for handling the tech! Thank you for this! Greetings from Germany 🙂
This was great and very well done. Thanks! Always feel like building after watching your videos! Any plans of changing the livestream time to later in the day or on a weekend?
Thank you! I’m definitely flexible on the day and the time. I’m honestly not sure what would be an ideal time for a livestream. Seems a bit different than say for a time to post a video.
Hey Chris, great show. I was Listening but couldn't ask anything due to work. How are you getting your CG and what are you using to check your CG? I know the jet guys love to use the Xicoy cg balancer but like my Pilot RC F-16 turbine I used the provided jig to hang the jet. I hope you enjoyed my scale projects Is like my Polish demonstration team Mig-29 😊
Warms my heart to know that there are still some Real modelers amongst us. Beautiful job Chris!!!
I have probably 40 of those koku-fan books on the aircraft in my library. Koku-fan has some of the best 3-views that I have seen.

I love the mirage 3, especially the Swiss variants. Such a beautiful airplane!
Really nice look back on the nats and all the wonderful things that have happened. Great intro for new people as well!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I just pick up the airplanes with my fingertips mostly to check cg. I don’t have any special machines for it
great show!
Thank you!
A long nose Mirage would be cool.
Man I want to do this now.
Do it! It’s like having a whole support group help you. 😊
@@Thercgeek challenge accepted. Time to go fine the most expensive book on eBay. That's my take away with how to win, lol
Missed it dang
Well, hopefully next time you can join us live. But at least can catch it on the rerun. 😊
