- I know the phone was blurry. Sorry about that but I made it so that its step by step.I found an extremely cheap way to adjust tire size and a ton more for my jt jl. This system was very easy to use and was extremely cheap for cost. I can share the pig tail and bluetooth odd with any of my friends and all they have to pay for is the vin number for the app which is 30 bucks in Canada.
The system does so much more that just do tire sizes but thats all I need it for for now. You are going to need the pig tail to install this on new jeeps as there is a security bypass that you need to get around. If you have any questions like I did the customer service was extremely easy to get ahold of and very helpful. Hope you like it.

I have a Jeep Wrangler JL Sport and this video helped me a lot. I put LED Fender lights and they we’re flickering so I got the JScan app and the FCA 12+8 adapter and changed the setting on to LED and fixed my problems. Thanks Man
Thank you for the video! I was an idiot and couldn't for the life of me figure out where to plug in the pig tail. This was short and to the point, very helpful!
Very helpful. My wife wanted LED headlights on her 2019 Jeep Wrangler and the daytime running lights feature wouldn't work properly (flashing on/off intermittently), and also made the LED headlights lights cut out. Bought the cable and the cheapest OBDII adaptor from Amazon. Adaptor was the Veepeak Bluetooth OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner for Android and was only $23.99 and the cable on Amazon says it's for Chrysler -12+8 Cable Adaptor for Autel MaxiSys MS908 MS906S 908S MS905 and was $43.99. Subscribed to the OBD Jscan app and had the daytime running lights reassigned to the foglights and the headlights set up as LED for both high and Low beams in a few minutes. Tons of other stuff can be programmed too - so also was able to set up the fog lights for LED as well. Super happy with the info on your RUclips channel. Thanks again
This was the best video I could find on how to use JScan for a JL. Thanks dude!
just did my 2018 JL, man those harnesses were a PITA. On mine, I had to turn the ignition off, open and close the drivers door and leave it off for 5 minutes after programming. Super easy and I even disabled ESS, thanks for the helpful video!
Very nice. Looks pretty easy, plug in bypass, then OBD scanner, run app, let app do its programming, when complete disconnect and reconnect back to original configuration. Thanks, great Job 👍
I have done this as well. I have a suggestion for those who adjust the tire size. Get al level and place it on top of your tire. When the level is level take a tape measure and measure the height of your tire. Use this measurement for adjusting your tire size. Your speedometer, odometer & MPG will be the most accurate.
Good video. Straight and to the point. I have the Vgate iCap pro from my last JKU. Just bought a new JLUR and tossed on 37's. Just got the splitter off Amazon and ready to rock after watching you go through it. Many thanks, and thats a badass Gator JTR!!! Subbed
Rebel. "Yeti full of Jack Daniel." Niiiiice!
It’s a great tool to have for jeep owners. Just fyi they make extensions for this cable to make it easier to get to them
Awesome video……. I was a little hesitant on doing it, but after watching the video I feel confident I can do it by myself. Ordering everything tonight!!!!!!!
Just put 35s on my Gladiator. Getting ready to do this.
Thank so much for the video. I am brand new to Jeeps and the Jeep groups only told me about the Icar Pro and the Jscan app, I couldn't figure out why the thing wouldn't work. I would have never known that the 21 4XE needed the additional adapter.
LOVE seeing the American Flag in Canada 🇨🇦 I'm assuming of course that your American and moved there ( idk how or why ) but your showing is LOVE so in return I'm gonna get Canadian Flag up in my garage .... know it's you that made it happen my Jeep Brutha!!!! 😂
Thanks for the video. Surprisingly there isn't many showing exactly how to set this up. I'm about to do mine today.
thank you, my daughter just got 35's on her JL and I am getting ready to put 35's on my JT. I had a 2015 JKU that I bougt the Superchip and this is a little more complicated but I'm sure we can do it.
Easier than you think. Your gona laugh
Man that was awesome! Thanks for making this!
Is it necessary to do the last step, restart all ecus? Most people just change the size, turn the car off and wait for 5 minutes and start it up again?
Awesome video very helpful.
Do we need to keep the wire to keep the settings?
Or after programming I can hook back to factory connectors?
Thanks
Hook up your factory set up and off you go do not leave it connected
Thanks for the video. Great info. A question, can you leave the cable as “bypassing “ when you are driving? Thanks
I believe no but message the guy on his email. Which is avaliable in the system
Thanks for the video!
Can you post the OBD VGate thing again to make sure I source the right one please.
Gonna try this on my 2022 ram 1500. Thank you
Great video! I appreciated the Canadian amazon links!
Have you tried shutting off the auto start/stop using the OBDJscan? I did and my remote start wont work. Had to turn the auto start/stop back on in order to get remote start to work. I’ve heard this isn’t the case wth the Tazer.
With all the research I have done i don't mind the auto start stop. If you don't want it to work I've found not being heavy on brake at the stop it won't activate... almost like certain amount of pressure needs to be depressed. Thanks for watching
Hello friend, I bought the pieces and I will apply what you did to your monster car 🔥 . Should I keep the device in place after I finish programming or remove it and return the status as before, thanks.
Very helpful - thanks! Did you happen to adjust TPMS settings so the warning doesnt come one etc?
Wade I didn't have to do that as the tpms was my factory ones. Thanks for watching and hope you subscribe
Thank you for the video. Can you remove the security bypass cable after making the tire size change?
You need to hook back the two cables after you are done so everything is back to factory thanks for watching
Hey bud, Nice Rubi !
I've had the OBD Jscan for 5 years now on 2 Jeeps and it does so much on the JK platform. Just bought a 2021 Overland and want to disable the stupid Auto Start/Stop function without disconnecting the second hood sensor. Can you help out and check if that function is available in the app?
If you have e the app at the bottom of the app you have a section for emailing the person about questions. There wicked good at getting back to you
@@LetsGoJT Yes he is great at responses, just awaiting the 12+8 adapter to obtain my new license for the new Gladiator, can't switch VIN's.
That's a beautiful color. Is it a factory color?
good focus !!!
Will this disable the "start/stop"? I hate that setup.
No idea. I've learned how to get around if you don't want the start stop function dont depress the brake fully when stopped just enough to hold the jeep stopped
Hi, thank you so much for the video. I am interested in buying it. I have a question. I am planning to upgrade my tires to 315/70 r17 any chance you know which size I am supposed to put on the device
They are all different. You just have to measure !
You can just pop off the knee Panel just under steering wheel Has a few clips on both sides. Pull gently. That will give you access no matter what size your hands are. Easy.. Edit. Mine did not say anything about rebooting the system. Just said successful. Then it prompted me to shut off my vehicle and shut the door for five minutes. Then start it. I guess it’s the same theory.
I'm gonna take a look at this because oh my God...I cannot for the life of me get these damn cables un plugged. And I'm a female with small fingers. I genuinely cannot make them budge right now, and my fingers are all cut up. *Face palm*
@@shelbotron09 don’t even pull the knee panel. Just push the seat back and look up. Get a flashlight. The clips are easy. You push the clips and pull. They pop right out.
@@seadoo4life127 I'm aware of where they at at lol. The problem is getting enough leverage to push the pin and yank them out. It was very tough. And taking the panel off was super easy and made the process much easier.
@@shelbotron09 worst case get a small screwdriver and push in on the one side and then pull.
@@seadoo4life127 I already got it done by taking the knee panel off.
i just bought everything and am about to do mine, does the module setup have to stay plugged in after you program or do you plug them back where they came from?
Once done just plug it back in to the jeep
Why did you unplug the OBD and install the Amazon pigtail? Why do you have to reinstall the original after?
It's a security bypass that is needed for the vehicle according to the programmer
Why is the pigtail needed? Why can't I use my obd plug. Does this work for 2011 jku.
Its needed because you have to bypass the security that fca has placed in. Older units may not need it just download the app and it will let you know if you do need it
Is this like set it and forget it or i have do it everytime i start my jeep?
Only once then its in the program
your funny awesome video
Has anybody tried deactivating the autostart with this app? I tried today & it still active 😩
Yea it doesn't work. They are aware of this issue
can you share with me? :)
