Now why did I have to move back and forth from Photoshop to achieve this effect in various jobs? And the better question is, why couldn't any teacher, peer, etc. tell me how to pull off this, this, this ... "How should I say this?" Simple ass effect that has plagued graphic designers far and wide lol!!

Not pixelation - but still jaggedness steps of posterization. This is not what we should arrange in the 21st century in vector programs. Only gradient with transparency or overlap mode screen! Only mesh grid! Raster effects - sorry, never ever!!!
