Indian Lake Estates in Lake Wales is a 10 square mile community that is located on the shores of Lake Walk in Water, a 7500 Acre lake in Central Florida. This community is slowly growing, but is no where near its capacity. There are room for 8,000 homes here. The community has the longest freshwater fishing pier in the state! There is also an 18 hole golf course inside of Indian Lake Estates.

Went there when looking for a house last year. It was extremely run down and looked very dirty. The house that was listed was a great house but with so many of the neighboring houses looking like they were not cared for we ended up deciding not to buy. Also, there is no shopping anywhere close, unless you want to grocery shop at a Dollar Tree.
Yep the area isn’t for everyone but the majority of the folks who live there live the lifestyle. Thanks for watching

My father bought property there in 1959. The place hasn't changed since. Didn't notice any power poles where you showed the lot. bill
Hey Bill! Lots of people did and still own there. There is power a few streets over. That lot sold the week after I posted the video.

I didn't mean to be so negative about ILE. I think it was just a little ahead of its time. I think my father bought 3 adjacent lots there as well as commercial property on the hiway. My sister inherited it a few years back and sold it after his death. I just noticed an 8,000 square foot lot for sale in Santa Cruz, where I live, for sale for 1.7 Million. If I spoke Portugese the Azores would be looking good.

Hey there! It is a gated community with dock access and a boat ramp to lake Walk In Water, there is also a golf course and of course the clubhouse. Prices vary, you can buy lots there or there are competed new construction homes for sale.
