Hey, maybe a chance to find a fitting one am I right? Im waiting for maybe a german regiment, but we germans are notorious for taking organisation to the extreme, the exact opposite of "casual"😶
@@commandergreetv753Im in a american and EU regiment where the main fac officer and the two logi officers are geman. Im one of them btw. But since we are not all german ;) we have this 1. rule that everyone only do things ingame that you want to do. So its casual but we are still the regiment who produced most of the BTs on Warden side in War 117 and im very proud about that. :)
As a solo player, i view myself more as a free agent than anything else. I've worked with 82dk, FMAT, SCUM, SOM, among others, all without actually joining their regi. As Robert said, most regi's are willing to work with solo players as long as you work with them. This to me is the biggest benefit of being a solo player.
in this game, clans kind of bully solo player, even if you re cooperated with clans, that's why clan war each other, people are stupied, clan system make stupied things even larger, anyway, freelancer forever!
The current war 119 is my first war in foxhole and I've noticed i have the most fun getting groups of randoms together on the front lines or in emergencies like when the Saltcaps got raided by tanks, it makes for a really cool feeling when you get a bunch of randoms who have no affiliation with each other working towards the same goal like a fervent mob, or the cool feeling of being able to turn to your fellow soldier and say "hey we need that armor down" or "we need ammo" and know that someone is going to do it even if its not the person your talking to.
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! Getting randoms together for things can be really fun! I do this a lot with partisan plays on the front. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I only play wardens and I’ve been playing since war 45, one thing I have noticed over time is being able to tell when you are going up against or fighting with an organized regiment. Usually it shows as a screen of infantry, logi, arty or armor, figuring out if the enemy is organized is more difficult though. I was in jade cove this past week and noticed I was shelled for multiple hours straight, given the data I gathered and countless deaths witnessed you can access the pure logistical support and arty team awareness needed that your enemy is organized. One of the most important things to learn as a foxhole player is battlefield awareness, checking your map talking to people and putting other ques together to access your situation. I think a good video could be made on spawning into a frontline and learning what the situation is. Keep up the great work ❤️
I got adopted by a regiment last night and got a 3 hour course on how to build properly and i loved it, and was able to go build my own bunker base no problem
Playing in a regiment and building and operating one of the harder to produce vehicles could be the ultimate achievement in the game. Seeing all your hard work and teamwork come together which is what Foxhole is all about.
@RobertLovesGames yup. There are ranks but there's no "look what I did i played the game a lot" it's a "look how much I helped out everyone else while playing the game a lot"
Started playing at the beginning of W118 and didn't know about the break war concept yet. Was super interested in naval and coincidentally got recruited in the home region to join a naval regiment. Didn't think it would lead to much, but now I spend all my Foxhole time hanging out with my regi and made friends with players from all over the world. I've quickly managed to prove myself and in just a few weeks I'm an officer and am trusted with important positions on large ships. Regiments can be as good or as bad as you make them, so do what's fun for you and you just might make some great new friends!
Nice! And it was honestly a good "training" war! And that's awesome to hear you found a good group to play with. Well done on your promotion! And yes being in a regiment is all personal preference for sure. Thanks for sharing that!
What an amazing take! As a long time VET with over 1700k hours in in this game I've never seen a better take on this topic. Keep up the amazing content Robert, your truly capturing the spirt of the community. Hero's work for both sides......
I have met regi players who almost exclusively talked in chat. I've also met randoms who typed and it never changed how I spoke to them. Often if people are text only I might even text back in local to not stress them out. You can definitely still find people to play with.
I started playing foxhole I believe in Charlie war 1 I believe. (1.0 release) and after playing a bit solo I managed to join the Jesters. It was so much fun doing tank lines, behind enemy line partisan stuff, massive organized arillerly barrages and in general just a fun organized assaults on key points on the map. I was going through a terrible time then and the regiment fun distracted me from my problems like nothing else.
when i first joined foxhole, i already had a regiment in mind. when i joined them i instantly clicked into the puzzle that is foxhole, i love my regiment and the community in general. even to this day i remain loyal to my royal spuds.
7:22 Look ma it's me! Love the video as always robert. Glad to have you defogging the perception on regiments. As one of the leadership members of 82DK one of the challenges we face is trying to make sure to clear up misinformation people might have towards how we handle things. Our ultimate goal is to provide a positive and enjoyable group experience to everyone who joins the regiment. Pretty much everything that happens in the regiment is voluntary and our goal is to make sure everyone tries to contribute at least a little bit to helping out so the workload doesn't get weighed onto the select few that are actually doing the work. There will often be some people that go above and beyond what is expected of them and they are free to do so, but we try to make sure people don't develop unhealthy habits as a result. From my personal experience as someone who went from a solo player, to a clan member, to a clan leader. The greatest experience with finally joining a clan is that you feel less stressed out over the whole picture of a war and instead focus on the smaller picture of what your group is focusing on. Instead of doing the entire logistics chain I just do the part I feel people need done the most. And when I was promoted to leadership after proving my leadership capabilities I tried to make sure that when we need to handle a situation, that we prioritize the important things first because my experience playing the game has shown me what tasks need to be done first and people appreciate it when I convey that knowledge to them. Some people my recognize me for the whole border base scandal and thing of me as some filthy dirty cheater. But to those who understood the full context of the things that actually took place would understand that for the longest time before that whole incident took place, I was fighting to rid the game of mechanics that lead people to undertaking unhealthy gameplay habits. I have had to on multiple occasions order clan members to stop playing because they were literally losing sleep on the game because they cared so much about winning. I had to inform them that the outcome wasn't worth hurting themselves in the process. And a majority of my criticism towards the game features are primarily aimed towards improving quality of life and taking the game away from the "Play longer than your opponent" mindset of playing. It's why I wanted to spark controversy on the current border base mechanics. I feel like they have needed a change for years and they have only recieved one change recently. And it was specifically to nerf the thing I popularized. I don't mind that, it was an important thing to change, I just hope they consider more discussion and change on them in the near future. I don't want to have to tell people to stop playing when they've played the game for over 18 hours. But it often feels like the game encourages that, and I feel it's on the dev's to design their game to encourage that behavior less. At the very least, the clan I'm in has a very important slogan that I feel several other regiments share wholeheartedly. "Real life comes first" I'm currently in reserve in 82DK due to real life private issues so I take that slogan to heart. But even with my absence, I hope people find a regiment they enjoy. Even if 82DK fails to meet that expectation for people I still wish everyone the best, I fully believe and support the clan I'm part of and I wish for others to feel the same. At the end of the day, we just want everyone to have a good time. Foxhole is a game at it's best when you are cooperating. And regiments are just a large group of people that cooperate. Stay foxy!
I'm a member of T3C, one of the largest collie logi regiments. I like it because I can help with logi without having to do the whole logi loop. Some wars I simply scroop for a bit, have someone else pick it up, and go and play in the front. Despite it being a serious logi regi, you can help with massive public logi while still being a casual player
I think my only real problem with big clans is how having them in a battle changes the vibe. Like, you will be sitting there for two hours, talking trash and holding the line in some trenches with the boys, enjoying some good foxhole. Then suddenly the clan push rolls up, and now 2/3rds of the dudes around you arn't talking or listening to you at all, just running around like bots, the front starts moving forward for an hour or two, the vibe dies, the clan op ends, and the line crumbles back to where it was before... I love being a part of big ops, I'm an arma player at heart, but so much of what makes foxhole special is the interaction, the feeling of 'holy shit everybody here is a real person and I can just walk over and talk/shoot at them.'... Really falls apart when it seems like the only time anything gets done is when the RTS troops roll up to silently kick ass. And yes, I am well aware they are talking just as much shit, only in discord. I've played in em, I get it, they are fun... I just wish Foxhole had better in-game voice systems really, so we could see a more integration between organized coms and the trench-manning masses.
Thanks! Thinking maybe HCNS to build ships next war :D And thanks for your videos on deep diving into different regiments! Look forward to the next one!
@@RobertLovesGames You always have a place in the Velian Fleet! We managed to grind out the 1st or 2nd Collie sub of the war with our next sub already in production. Been coordinating closely with TBFC and UCF to silence the "where's our navy?!" haters
If you're not a huge team player, try joining a logi group who's NOT in your time zone. Sometimes all a front needs to survive is a logi guy with access to the resources of a logistics regiment. That's pretty much how it went for me, even FMAT gets pretty quiet at certain hours of the day, and even if a front doesn't flare up and need 2000 shirts per hour, there's still plenty to do that'll help everyone, from scrooping to manufacturing to just keeping everything running.
New US east player and I've been on laaate in the night lately. I frequently find myself one of a few people running frontline logi in a hex and have been in fights where I knew I needed to swap to logi to keep up the momentum. One guy with FMAT access seems to help a front a lot.
as a new player i am in a small regiment and they already have learned me so much, about frontline tactics and logistics, etc. its so helpfull and also fun playing with others
I was drafted into the 27th in the midst of battle as a lowly Lance Corporal. I played alongside of them but never really participated until the current war when I finally started joining operations. It’s a ton of fun! And I can participate when I like, or go off and do my own thing. I recommend joining a regiment to any new player.
I've played with CAF - they are generally a good group of salty vets. Some of them can be asses, but I think thats par for the course with any game. CAF does a lot of fun stuff like rail cannons, tank rushes, factories, etc. They are neutral and sometimes go Blue, sometimes go Green. I've also wanted to try 1CMD and some others like that. Truth is, a solo player can enjoy Foxhole ... but playing in a regiment is the best way to "unlock" access to end-game content like RSCs, battleships, subs, etc. AND do it with competent people.
i just started playing with 1cmd this war, and its been really fun :)) just having the tag meaning people are inviting me to random tankette squads and other cool stuff. ive almost gotten to wo1 in only 60 hours playtime from just running frontline logi :)))
It might be worth including coalition for each regiment as some coalitions work extremely closely together but have different regiments focus on certain aspects of the game. It may be relevant for new players too.
Great idea! I'll try and think about a way to do that in the future. Right now I will stick to just having the regiment information and then add something about coalitions when I get a chance. Thanks for the feedback!
I had a regiment with 4 members and we had our own "operations" and a facility that was capable of making surprisingly large amount weapons for the front. But we just worked together with all the other regiments in the hex while we made sure the component were harvested as our base was purposefully right next to it. It was just fun experience to barter with other regiments with our almost monopoly of components in the hex.
Thanks Robert, I was thinking on jumping back into the game and your videos have convinced me to do so, especially this one with the discord of the different regiments !
playing solo vs being in a regiment are like playing 2 games differently. i suggest you try both and then make your judgement on what game you like to play.
i don't fight in regiments as those social enviroments bring me a lot of stress and i just enjoy the feeling of being a Stranger joining to battle doing stuff and being recognized by those i fight with
That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience with being solo. As a mentioned in the video it's certainly up to the player to decide what's best for them.
I just started a couple days ago and after a few minutes on the front I tried doing Logi by myself for a couple hours. The next day I went to red river to do back line Logi and just asked in the region chat, “Does anyone need help with anything?” Within 15 minutes I was In the WLL regiment and doing all kinds of things, learned a ton and everyone was super kind, funny and understanding. If I made a mistake no one got mad. They’d just laugh it off and say “don’t even worry about it”. Now I feel super comfortable jumping into almost any role along the supply chain and being much more effective at it. Definitely join a regiment if you have the chance.
As John medic I don’t swear loyalty to a single regiment I just float around and heal everyone joining ops midway has been super fun and highly recommend doing this to get a taste of all the regiments to see who you wana stay with
I love that! There is a neutral medic group out there as well that does something similar to what you do! Thanks for sharing your experience with this!
I've only been in one regiment so far, but I also only play one or two wars at a time then hop onto another game. Had a great experience, I helped out when I was able and got help when I needed. One guy taught me how to be better at logi when I went with him on a convoy. Had another guy give me combat tips on the frontline. Just don't steal vehicles at facilities, the compound with 3 tanks isn't (usually) hoarding them for the hell of it, they're waiting until they have built/upgraded 5 of them to deliver to the front one hex away.
My favorite aspect of of regiments is stringing together several small ones, and accomplishing something, building a community within a hex feels great.
100% on point with this one I joined my regiment my first war back in 110 and have been a part of them ever since. Yes, we do go Warden ever 5-6 wars, but then regroup together and the experiences we have and make help us overall. I do understand you not making a regiment and I would also argue that if you were to make one, people would only want to join for clout chasing due to your popularity. Love this one very much man.
I must say, that through this channel I finally convinced myself to give Foxhole a chance even though I also heard about a heavy community, but my first FIRST experience is telling me to say that it is worth it, assaulting a trench with strangers watching the bullets fly On one side, we advance clearing section by section, or at least my companions since my bullets barely hurt the enemies, we reach a bunker with the Warden's machine gun as its last line, one of ours tanks arrives and makes it fly in one shot, having a grenade kill me right after made me die that first time with satisfaction and between the voice chats while the battle occurs, I only hear laughter of excitement for a battle achieved
Hate that. Name and shame the regiments that do this. Most regiments I know if they need to do something like this will help the solo player or group build another facility or give them the resources they need.
Im a solo player but every now and then I see regiments asking for help for tank/ship operations and im always welcome to help out without joining, which is nice
I've been 141 twice in here so far. I saw one person pop up in intel chat early in the video and now I see Tenoxis at 8:06 being the tank TC. I enjoyed this video with a general overview of clans. There are some toxic clans, but 95% of clans are chill and are willing to work with other clans/people. I joined 141 back in war 79 and I've stuck with them since. I'm a casual player and I typically once play maybe 2 wars a year, but my spot is always saved. We welcome new people of any experience whether you just joined or you have 1k hours. We currently have a rank limit though for war (119 I think we're on?) due to the fact within the first 3 days we got over 90-100 new RCT's and a majority were new to the game. We don't mind training new people at all, but it's a bit much to have about 50-60 of the new people we got to be brand new players.
Another fun thing is having other regiment commanders in your regi discord so in off hours they can come to your Voice chat and ask for help. We get to do naval stuff this way sometimes.
It sounds like what would help a lot, is a regiment solo focused on supplying non-regi players. Saves those players a lot of time, and helps improve player's views on regiments
I’ll join regiments for a few hours at a time. Some for the task at hand and some because I was in a trench with guns to my head ‘suggesting’ I should join 👍 Some days I love to zone out and logi while listening to podcasts or music 🎶
10:30 omg 9th pog spotted. But funny pointing aside Rob is once again on point. I remember myself how it was to start the game and how i was tought by the first regiment i joined. I also realised how much better the game is whit others. whit the game being built spesificaly for teamwork id say its very good to join regiments since if you like tanks you cant tank by yourself. everything (exept infantry and logi sometimes) needs another player to fungtion.
Few days ago I had bad experience with an arty-regiment. Me and my friend gathered resources, refined them, build 120mm arty and shells from scratch and brought them to front. We started shooting and then a 6-8 people regiment came to our place and started digging trneches for their arty. After that they said to us that we need to fuck off and go to the front. When we declined they started shooting at us. When i came back to clarify that they took our arty they just said "this is our show now" and started shooting anyway. I wont tell which regiment because whole regiment should not be acoutnable for few bad eggs.
Wow! Sorry to hear that. You honestly need to name and shame these people so we can find out who the bad eggs are. And I agree that the whole regiment should be accountable but the rest of their regiment should know who those members are. A lot of leaders would not want those people in their clans if they are doing that to random people. I would recommend you reach out to a leader of that clan and let them know what happened. Sorry again that happened!
I wish this game made you select a role before spawning and that it would effect what regiments are available. So for ex. You could have options like 1.infantry 2.vehicles 3.artillery 4.navy 5.logistics Once you select one it should then show what Regis are currently active or looking for members in that sector. I think this might make it easier for new players to figure out how to properly play the roles and how best to contribute to said role. Games like squad and hell let loose have a similar system where you have to select the proper role before spawning in and it really helps new people learn the game. Hope the devs see this and give it a consideration :)
only took 100 hours of solo for me and a group naval noobs to decide to make SCUM a year ago and I have no regrets in contributing and helping it grow! I do miss the solo life sometimes but knowing you can do so much more to affect the war as a part of a regiment makes it worthwhile ❤️
I really enjoy fighting where regiments have an operation. You have everything you need, arty, bmat, gun, ats, builders, tanks. You dont need to worry about supplying base etc. Clanmaan is good.
I gonna throw this just because Ubge and Felb(Portuguese) Arg, 7-hp, blitz and 1ebh(spanish) If looking for french regi just play warden they are everywhere.
Have been playing the game for about 100 hours solo now, could never decide what regiment to join cause i never had a good overview, so that document will be a big help!! Thanks a lot! (already spotted a spelling error😂of regiment) love your videos!!
I have played foxhole off and on for almost a decade , I started in 2016 when the game was in its infancy, and I have been part of a regiment that started grew to almost a hundred active players and then it died off… it’s been a wild ride and I’ve started to get back into foxhole, I’m thinking about joining another regiment soon but I’ll always remember BIA
As a solo player I have had both positive and negative experiences with regiments. Personally I think the two most common reasons Clan Man Bad comes up, besides being the people responsible for civil wars and shooting people who take a petrol truck off an overflow to fill public component mines, is squad lock. While anyone can squad lock it is the regiments in my experience who squad lock things like bases to prevent them from being ruined by new players screwing up good designs. While I understand that, it still results in a base that can't be repaired when destroyed. I'll go into more detail about a recent problem I had with a regiment. I had brought up a crane from a town, carefully monitoring for partisan activity. I spent a lot of time monitoring and QRFing that route, building WTs, fighting and helping other logi attacked by the frequent partisans. When I finally felt I had a good window to move the crane in, I did. I left it locked at the front well off the road. I immediately redeployed back to town and grabbed my flat bed. I was bringing mobile arty to the front. When I got back a regiment had unlocked the crane and was using it to also unload artillery. I let them know I was there politely, pointed out my obvious artillery piece, and asked to use the crane when they were finished so I could get back to bringing supplies. They said sure, but reflexively squad locked the crane anyway in front of me. I did not mention that I had brought the crane or act passive aggressively. After another two minutes of them fooling around with the arty they unloaded I politely asked again if they would unlock the crane since I could not unlock it even with my wrench because it was "too soon". They were obviously talking in a Discord from the manner of their responses, and told me to chill out and they'd take care of it soon. Shortly after they then left with the arty they brought and never came back. I had to wait out the full timer to use the crane. As a result of this not only was I clogging up the area but so was the crane because they parked it in the road. They caused a really big traffic jam but were totally oblivious to it even though lots of people were very upset about it in voice comms. No one was blaming them for it, but I understood they were responsible and it basically came down to them prioritizing themselves over everyone else on the front. Another bad experience I had with squad lock was when other logi and myself died on the road, I redeployed at the regiment claimed relic nearby, wrenched a truck there, killed the partisans, got to the supplies just before they would despawn, only to find I could not load anything into the truck because it was reserved. I had to then leave the reserved truck there and carry the most valuable crates as I could slowly back. I have also had many positive experiences with regiments and certainly more of those than bad, but I do have to say that the squad lock thing is easily the most consistent offender for creating bad experiences for myself and even those around me. I am still considering joining one myself eventually.
I’ve enjoyed having a regi of 6 friends but we deal with communicating Regis with each other, if we know a group of people that makes a lot of 120mm now we know we find arty Regis that need a supplier, you’d be amazed how much Regis need someone else to find them suppliers
To enjoy this game at its fullest, playing in a regiment is the way to go! Everyone finds their own fun. But Playing in a regiment makes that much easier
Hello! I'm commenting this video quite late, but i didn't dare for this days to comment. At first - thanks you for the content) I was joined Foxhole during War 100, and played on both sides for two or three wars, abandoned game for a year (or a longer) and joined again, when War 117 was started. All this time I was playing solo, because it was hard to me to find like-minded people. I watched the "clans", read about civil war for resource nodes, and made a vision, that's them are really "clans".Not all, of course. This is a game about two great armies clash, so armies must have regiments, it's logic - MMO game is about playing with many people. But main value of toxicity in game came from these several "clans". Seizure and privatization of resource nodes, abusing of ban and report system, third party agreements about resources, abusive teamkilling and many other things, leads to depopularising the game. And like in another wargames and milsims - wannabe warlords, who like to feel themselves anybody between drill-sergeant and feudal lord. This all forms strong prejudice againts clans... Too much "Respect my authority", too little "We happy few, we - band of brothers". And during War 117, I was discovered a new derogative term in game - LARPers - sign with message "All Larpers facility will be destroyed". I know, what this term means IRL, but I was surprised, that it is using in game. Than, I was explained, that "LARPers is a term for people, who play "unuseful" for winning". Men, I find a perfect game to an old historical vehicle geek, i don't debt anyone. We don't play for keeps... I am guy, who wan't to play with like-minded folk after a workday, without drills, without stupid wannabe generals. That's why many of solo players has strong prejudice againts clans.
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! Maybe a regiment that might peak your interest will pop up on that list! Feel free to join the discord as well if you need help with anything!
There's something that is awkward when you are clan less until the rank of Major and just join a clan out of the blue because someone keeps inviting me, like a random person ask me what my clan is planning do to, I who was not even in the discord of that clan awkwardly stayed silent. And that is why I am still clan less until now. I am also clueless on other things unless it's medic related. Also, I am a very introvert kind of person so I don't use voice chat or chat that often
lol! I would not recommend just accepting an invite to a clan. Get to know someone in the clan or what they do. There are medic specific clans out there! And being an introvert is fine! Lots of clans accept members that don't use the mic.
I once (after hard solo work) finished a tank and some ammunition for it. I went towards a front where a group (idk the name anymore) was defending after I arrived a with my tank 2 of them joined me in my tank (driver and MG) and even put the 40mm the tank needed into their Logi route for the time i was there. when i had to go off i drove my tank back and went offline. The next day sadly they wasnt defending there anymore and i never saw them again.
I do not recommend 141 Colonial Rangers. I joined this war as a brand new player and was happy to learn more and help where needed. Things started out pretty good but as the war has gone on the leadership has taken out their frustration on members. I remember a VC where the leaders were just yelling asking why certain things weren’t being done and the silence of the 30+ members was telling. I can look past that, because hey who doesn’t get frustrated sometimes. During one of the battles near the faranac coast, I helped set up mobile 120mms and the leadership needed another gunner as there were two cannons. After getting on the second cannon to try to deter the enemy push I was yelled at and promptly removed from the Discord and regiment without warning. Last thing I heard in the VC was “I fucking hate r**** that join the regiment and don’t listen”. They have since changed from being “welcoming to new players” to “we will only take players at Ocdt or higher”.
141CR are pretty decent in the fighting part but horrible when it comes to gloat posting on Reddit or trashtalking during battle. Not the ideal regiment for low profile or chill players .
Although I've not joined a regiment at this time I do want to maybe join a tank or Naval, (especially the 2nd since I have a love for big battleships). And also because i like things that go boom. So hopefully soon I can join one eventually and live the experience :)
I had bad experience with clans in Anvil Empires . Not fun gathering resources for 2/3 days so few high rank clan members can build they dream castle/town . And when i decided to try things on my own i was not welcomed cuz i dont "contribute to a clan" I hope when Anvil will be in full release solo player experience gonna be better
Do you like horders, private operations, no communication with the outside, a sense of entitlement, and the abilityto war with your own team for resources? Join a Regement Robert you sounded a little under the wether in this video. You ok?
Oh. Another thing i realized was that this list I presume is for Able? Might want to mention that and we probably want one for Charlie as well if you can make one
I leave this time capsule , for the future I played foxhole (600 hours) from war 112 to 115 , and 2 wars I was on strike because of the warden toxicity , now I moved in a new country and in a few months I will play again as Elian , Robert I invite you in my regiment , as warden. Best regards.
@RobertLovesGames gonna post a linn of mercy story on the discord soon the battle really hasn't stopped yet it's been relentless too much footage to cut up
@@anon456938 You can also switch shard in the start screen. At the top right should be a button where you can switch shards. But of course you can stay on Charlie until the war there comes to a end. :)
Thank you! And yes I believe they all should be Able regiments. Charlie will be more than likely done after this war so only Able will remain. I don't want to keep Charlie regiments if the server is not going to stay up if that makes sense. Thanks for the feedback though!
I would agree that clan man is bad if you’re an adult. If you’re younger, try some out. Also if you care about your rank in game, definitely join a regiment.
Solo player can easely make some tank alone without spending hours farming, one hauler of component (less than 10min of farming if a component field have available nods) can makes 3 tankette or 5 armored cars (@1.44min). I play with a lazy friend that never farm or do anything exept put his ass on a tank and shoot, and with 3 sessions of farming components (maybe 30-45 min total), i assembled 6 armored cars and 5 tankettes (aprox 6 days of playing tanks if we loose one or two of them every days).
For sure! I actually have a video about how solo players can get tanks pretty easily. Towards the middle of wars you can actually just find them in depots or find rmats in depots and make them in less than 10 minutes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
lol! That's how they recruit XD And they are a good bunch! Because of their recruitment style they get some bad eggs from time to time but the majority are good players.
I do solo arty, wich is not easy at all. i rolled up to the front and found an arty group to get acurate azm. And dist., then 6 of their loaders start loading me and homie jumps in the driver spot to aim me, has to be the most fun ive had so far
That does not sound easy! I join arty groups on the front though a lot. I feel like you can always get randoms to help you out once you have everything set up. The real role you need though is someone that is constantly bringing up shells for you. Thanks for sharing that!

Yea! Like a mercenary for hire! Thanks for sharing your experience with this!
Been part of different sized regiments and honestly can't say I ever had a bad time with a regiment.
Hello fellow Soloman. Absolutely agree with what you have said.
in this game, clans kind of bully solo player, even if you re cooperated with clans, that's why clan war each other, people are stupied, clan system make stupied things even larger, anyway, freelancer forever!
How to work with them effectively? Like, how to communicate
Foxhole transformed me from an introvert to an extroverted degenerate.
lol! Love to hear it! :D
Joining a regiment has definitely helped me learn how to do logi effectively
That's great to hear! Regiments can be a great resource for new players!
Can i play foxhole without gpu only integrated graphics of Ryzen 5 5600G with 16gb ram?
Keep up the great work ❤️
Whats a good warden group to join?
Need for Battlefield awareness/ (Basicaly Fog-of-war at the lowest levels of units) is the thing that makes Foxhole actualy realistic and so good.
I got adopted by a regiment last night and got a 3 hour course on how to build properly and i loved it, and was able to go build my own bunker base no problem
Nice! That's awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience on being recruited into a regiment!
Playing in a regiment and building and operating one of the harder to produce vehicles could be the ultimate achievement in the game. Seeing all your hard work and teamwork come together which is what Foxhole is all about.
Agreed! That's one of the things I love about this game is there are a lot of rolls involved to make something like that happen.
Thank you so much! Glad you think so!
dang bro you got 1.7 million hours in foxhole?! That’s 194 years
@@Tripintrios he's John foxhole
Sadly the biggest problem for me finding a regiment is my crippling social anxiety when using Mic and not chat😅
FuggedaBaaaadit! 🎉
You basically can stay quiet most times listening squad chat and if you don’t have anything to say, you don’t have to!
Just imagine everyone naked
If you do not like talking but like combat get familiar with the callout system for basic communication.
my last Regi had multiple no talk players.
its 100% possible. just limits roles. ex. you'll never command a tank but you can gun or drive!
That's great to hear! Glad you have had a great experience in the game. Thanks for sharing your perspective on this!
when i first joined foxhole, i already had a regiment in mind. when i joined them i instantly clicked into the puzzle that is foxhole, i love my regiment and the community in general. even to this day i remain loyal to my royal spuds.
That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience about this!
"Real life comes first"
I'm currently in reserve in 82DK due to real life private issues so I take that slogan to heart.
Nice! That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience with being in T3C!
Happy to have been your first choice way back when, and that you found out clans can be fun and free!
I just wish Foxhole had better in-game voice systems really, so we could see a more integration between organized coms and the trench-manning masses.
yea if foxhole could cutout discord and have better coms the experience would be increased across the board.
Awesome vid Rob! Looking forward to seeing which regiment you join next!
27th is a very welcoming and very organized regiment that welcomes all.
no force more lethal
We spanish speakers love people from the 27th
NFML!
NFML!
The best regiment is playing with friends :) I don’t join clans I usually just find people on the frontline and stick to them
I love it! This game is honestly great for finding a small group of friends to play with!
your videos got me to try logi and now it is the reason i got back into playing. Keep up the great videos!
That's awesome to hear! And I will do my best! Keep up the good logi work! o7
Thanks for the feedback!
as a new player, yesterday i was playing with CIEL regiment in a gunboat they were super friendly :,)
Nice! That's awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing that!
That's awesome to hear! Hope you find a good regiment to play with :D
playing solo vs being in a regiment are like playing 2 games differently. i suggest you try both and then make your judgement on what game you like to play.
For sure! Well said!
i don't fight in regiments as those social enviroments bring me a lot of stress and i just enjoy the feeling of being a Stranger joining to battle doing stuff and being recognized by those i fight with
That's great to hear!
After I joined T-3C I learned soooooooo much and I only have like 30 hours.
That’s great to hear!
Also, don't be afraid to start your own! You don't have to be knowledgeable, you only need to recruit knowledgeable people.
Yea! Just know that things may start off slow but you will grow over time if you keep at it!
Agreed! I love when regiments in a single hex get along really well and work together!
100% on point with this one
I joined my regiment my first war back in 110 and have been a part of them ever since. Yes, we do go Warden ever 5-6 wars, but then regroup together and the experiences we have and make help us overall.
I do understand you not making a regiment and I would also argue that if you were to make one, people would only want to join for clout chasing due to your popularity.
Love this one very much man.
Thank you! And glad to hear that. And yea I have no time for it ha!
Just tried naval invasion and was literally thinking joining a clan for that… what a good coincidence
Nice! I've already added a few to the list :D
That's awesome to hear! Sounds like you have had a great experience so far :D Thanks for sharing that!
Just got the game yesterday and this video is exactly what I needed
And Im thinking of coming back this weekend 😅
there was a solo that quit recently because of a clan " evicting" them from their own facility because it was in the way of some train tracks.
Hate that. Name and shame the regiments that do this. Most regiments I know if they need to do something like this will help the solo player or group build another facility or give them the resources they need.
Im a solo player but every now and then I see regiments asking for help for tank/ship operations and im always welcome to help out without joining, which is nice
Yea! That's awesome to hear! Clans always need help from other players with operations. Thanks for sharing that!
I love that! That's awesome to hear!
It sounds like what would help a lot, is a regiment solo focused on supplying non-regi players. Saves those players a lot of time, and helps improve player's views on regiments
True! That was kind of my goal with this video as well!
I’ll join regiments for a few hours at a time. Some for the task at hand and some because I was in a trench with guns to my head ‘suggesting’ I should join 👍 Some days I love to zone out and logi while listening to podcasts or music 🎶
as a clanman, i do declare. Clanman Bad
lol! Counter point. Clanman Good.
I wont tell which regiment because whole regiment should not be acoutnable for few bad eggs.
sorry you had to experience that. ive never come across that. usually the more guns the better. i dont get why those idiots did that.
So for ex. You could have options like
1.infantry
2.vehicles
3.artillery
4.navy
5.logistics
Once you select one it should then show what Regis are currently active or looking for members in that sector. I think this might make it easier for new players to figure out how to properly play the roles and how best to contribute to said role. Games like squad and hell let loose have a similar system where you have to select the proper role before spawning in and it really helps new people learn the game. Hope the devs see this and give it a consideration :)
That would be awesome! I would love that! Hope the devs implement something like that some day. Great suggestion!
only took 100 hours of solo for me and a group naval noobs to decide to make SCUM a year ago and I have no regrets in contributing and helping it grow! I do miss the solo life sometimes but knowing you can do so much more to affect the war as a part of a regiment makes it worthwhile ❤️
Nice! I didn't join a regiment until I was I think 300-400 hours in ha. And well said! I love this! Thanks for sharing that!
I really enjoy fighting where regiments have an operation. You have everything you need, arty, bmat, gun, ats, builders, tanks. You dont need to worry about supplying base etc. Clanmaan is good.
Agreed! They always come prepared :D
Thanks for the bmats you delivered to our bunker base!
Ha no problem!!
Great work on the video Rob. Now to wait for an Oceanic regiment to pop up. >.>
I’ll make sure to label it as oceanic if I see one! And thank you!
I gonna throw this just because
Ubge and Felb(Portuguese)
Arg, 7-hp, blitz and 1ebh(spanish)
If looking for french regi just play warden they are everywhere.
Nice! We need more regiments on the list that speak other languages! Feel free to come share their information in the discord if you get a chance!
Have been playing the game for about 100 hours solo now, could never decide what regiment to join cause i never had a good overview, so that document will be a big help!! Thanks a lot! (already spotted a spelling error😂of regiment) love your videos!!
In the name of The Royal Family

All hail!
I was expecting 12mins of detailed summery of the top 10 regiments in each factions.
Edit: watched till the end, there's a doc of regiment list
But
Playing in a regiment makes that much easier
Agreed! Well said!
That's why many of solo players has strong prejudice againts clans.
my bragging right is being an idiot, and learning every fucking mechanic the old fashioned way, and I mean all of them
Sounds good to me! Best of luck to you!
bro transformed into RFK 8:35
lol! Might be little sick from staying up with the newborn the last couple of nights :D
Only had the game a couple of days....still getting my head around the basics but will shop around for a regiment!
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! Maybe a regiment that might peak your interest will pop up on that list! Feel free to join the discord as well if you need help with anything!
If youre solo effective logi who understand map and the use of radio.... youre basically, GOD.
lol! I use to play this way a lot! And still do sometimes.
Love watching your videos
Thank you for saying that! Appreciate it!
I played this game for a year without a mic, or clan. I just helped people, bring ammo or grab a wounded person.
Love it! Thanks for sharing that!
Joined the 27th a week ago and having a great time. Very new player friendly with frequent trainings over discord.
I’ve played with 27th! Great group to play with!
same their logi training is pretty good. cool group of logis and engineers
Join COG aka the Colonial Old Guard!
Wooo!! Come give me your info to put on my new regiment list ;)
COG did nothing
This is when we need MMM and their massive side chat recruitment post.
NOTE some of the regiments in the list are using their total members and not their current active players
Yea I plan to update this when I find time to do so. This is a running document so it will be improved and updated :D Thanks for the feedback!
The problem with a lot of Warden Regiments is paranoia, elitism, corporate structure, and death by hr/middle management.
For sure! I would not say "a lot" though. Maybe a minority.
@@RobertLovesGames The 27th for sure, 82DK for definite sure.
Although I've not joined a regiment at this time
I do want to maybe join a tank or Naval, (especially the 2nd since I have a love for big battleships).
And also because i like things that go boom.
So hopefully soon I can join one eventually and live the experience :)
Nice! Feel free to DM me on discord if you need help joining a regiment!
If i can say something, your list of regiments is missing a lot of regiments mainly from collonial side from what i saw.
Well that's because the regiments need to come to me and give me their information :D I unfortunately don't have time to hunt them down.
I just purchased the game, installing now. Im giddy to get into it
That's great to hear! DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help learning anything!
I had bad experience with clans in Anvil Empires . Not fun gathering resources for 2/3 days so few high rank clan members can build they dream castle/town .
And when i decided to try things on my own i was not welcomed cuz i dont "contribute to a clan"
I hope when Anvil will be in full release solo player experience gonna be better
9:40 Note : Here, as you can CLEARLY see, this a logisctics regiment, doing very logistic things. Like delivering fuel. We are doing logi, it counts.
lol!
Do you like horders, private operations, no communication with the outside, a sense of entitlement, and the abilityto war with your own team for resources? Join a Regement
Robert you sounded a little under the wether in this video. You ok?
Great video. I would suggest to allow us to download a copy of the spreadsheet or letting us apply filters. Bit hard to find a reg match manually.
I’ll look into that! Thanks for the feedback!
Oh. Another thing i realized was that this list I presume is for Able? Might want to mention that and we probably want one for Charlie as well if you can make one
love your content your videos got me to buy the game
That's awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing that!
Playing solo in Foxhole feels like being a lone wolf or deserter
May be I missed something, but it seems to be a good idea if a shard (server) column will be added to the Regi List - Able or Charlie
Because Charlie is only around for one war I will only be listing Able regiments. Sorry about that!
@@RobertLovesGames nevermind, thank you for your vids and hard work! :)
I leave this time capsule , for the future
I played foxhole (600 hours) from war 112 to 115 , and 2 wars I was on strike because of the warden toxicity , now I moved in a new country and in a few months I will play again as Elian , Robert I invite you in my regiment , as warden.
Best regards.
Thanks for the invite! You may want to try playing on the Colonial side to see if it's better for you :D
Always try to find myself in the clips as a little cameo 🤣
lol nice!
@RobertLovesGames gonna post a linn of mercy story on the discord soon the battle really hasn't stopped yet it's been relentless too much footage to cut up
Great vid and sheet! Are all regiments mainly on able? I'm quite new and on charlie for now at least. Maybe there could be a column for shard(s) too?
I think (nearly) all regis on the list play on Able shard. :)
@@NODCommander15 I see, thank you. I might have to apply for a transfer once the current war ends
@@anon456938 You can also switch shard in the start screen. At the top right should be a button where you can switch shards. But of course you can stay on Charlie until the war there comes to a end. :)
@@NODCommander15 I could never leave my comrades mid conflict :)
Thank you! And yes I believe they all should be Able regiments. Charlie will be more than likely done after this war so only Able will remain. I don't want to keep Charlie regiments if the server is not going to stay up if that makes sense. Thanks for the feedback though!
LLDA on top, Thank you for put it on the desc
What? lol
but but... but clanman bad... badman clan.. man badclan? ... REEEEEEEEE!
Counter point. Clan man good!
I would agree that clan man is bad if you’re an adult. If you’re younger, try some out. Also if you care about your rank in game, definitely join a regiment.
True! Good points thanks for sharing this!
420st WANTS YOU!!!!!
Woo!!! Fun group!
joining a regiment will allow you access to 900 pcons to double vet a 30mm tankette
Woo!! Well worth it :D
i agree solo players need more love
They do a lot for the fronts and backline. I don't think clans give them enough credit.
I didn't even notice when I was invited to 420st, but I'm enjoying my time there. It's nice to be part of a force that has a vision and plans for war.
Is the ants regiment still a thing? They were one of the best when I used to play
No idea! I have never heard of them!
ANT changed it's name to SWARM, but they're still around
