    Love the plywood idea, good for heavier equipment 👌

    I had the control board fail on my minnkota few months pas warranty. Ended up using a pwm off amazon to repair it because minnkota wanted 130$ for theirs. Then i removed motor and did pedal drive. Like that better
    I like your plywood idea on floor

      I also hooked up a pwm for mine and I really like it. The steering situation I'm still trying to figure it out. lol I've tried a couple different ways but also end up not liking how it works. Pedal drive, I like that idea. How did you do it?

      That looks like it’s working really well. Thanks! I’m going to see if I can make that happen. Trolling motors and batteries are just too heavy.

      @@F-N-C yup. I still have a small battery for fish finder but pedal drive allows me to go more places and don't have to register pay the state.

    That is a sweet set up. I have a Fish cat OutKast 10 foot boat that I want to rig with a downrigger. I have a trance amount. I want to get a trolley motor for do you recommend the 55 thrust? How fast does your boat go? Thank you

    • @F-N-C
      @F-N-C  2 месяца назад

      Thanks, it works well for me. I like the 55lb thrust the best. It’s a little heavier but it moves the pontoon pretty good with all my gear. I have clocked my speed at 2-3mph.

    I have been looking at this and the Old Town Canoe. The canoe I take the kid out, so no decisions have been made. LOL

      I really like it. Breaks down and fits in the trunk if needed. The only bad thing about this is the set up time. I need a small light weight trailer for it.

      @@F-N-C do you use a compressor or manual pump or both to inflate the pontoons?

      @@F-N-C heck ya, most of the largies spawned already, sight fishing was fun. The Colorado sure offers advantages over a sit in.
      Plan on making any videos of new mods? I like your rod holder placement, and leaves a good spot for mounting other accessories.
      I recently got my Garmin striker 4 properly mounted and connected to a noqua battery pack,(so I can switch easy to my sit in).
