I have a request: could AXP please calibrate the closed captions to the correct timeline in the the video. The captions always lag well behind. People like me, who don't have great hearing, use the captions to fill in when we miss something in the audio. But if the captions lag behind we don't get that info until we're already trying to understand later parts of the audio. Obviously the audio to print takes some time to work, so the captions lag behind, but some video channels employ some kind of matching algorithm to correct this after the live stream ends. I realize that this catch-up is impossible in real time, so correction requires the algorithm to be applied after the live stream is over, which means that somebody has to take an action after the show is over. I assume it's a readily available option, so why don't you use it? It would make AXP a much better experience for many, many people.
My husband and I are atheists. His family was aware we’re ‘nonbelievers’. We’ve watched this show for years plus all the back shows that are on RUclips. We promised each other years ago that whoever died first would let the other know if we were wrong about the God thing. My husband of 50 years, died January 4, 2022 in his sleep. Since he’s never broke a promise to anyone and I haven’t got a ‘sign’ from him, I’ll say we atheists are right.😏 I’ll sit back and let the berating begin. This is a sadness day for me. I don’t deal with it well, so, don’t whine about my comments.
My husband of 40+ years is a good man, as your husband was. He's still alive, but as sure as other people know` "god" exists I know if there was anything after death, good or bad, he'd somehow -- some way -- let me know, and there'd be no question that the message was from him. My first point would have been that since he said those things he listed were wrong in his Christian worldview, he should also have listed some people going to work on a Sunday (or Saturday), which would _also_ be wrong in a Christian worldview, and him not going on a rampage to stone each and every one of those people would _also_ be wrong in a Christian worldview. The point is that sure, in _some_ cases, holding on to a Christian worldview would prevent harm, but in other (and I'd argue in far, _far_ more) cases, it would actively cause harm. (and yeah, I'd include his absolute objection to porn as causing more harm than preventing it...)

To the American Christians, Where in the Bible (chapter and verse, please) does it say: * porn is bad * abortion is prohibited * trans is wrong * gambling is a sin * lesbianism is an abomination Because in my review of scripture, I see no explicit reference to any of these commonly held "die on a hill" issues for American Christians. I do see Jesus prohibiting execution: "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and actively stopping a stoning from happening. I do see the only instance of Jesus being violent when he flips tables and whips the thieves in the Temple - so clearly Jesus is simply NOT a "free market capitalist" who believes in the unrestricted might of the market. I do see Jesus explicitly saying "you have heard it said an eye for an eye, but I tell you not to resist evil" (followed by "turn the other cheek" and "go the extra mile") - therefore, Jesus actively prohibits self-defence (such as the bearing of arms). I do see Jesus praising that "blessed are the peacemakers", so he's not throwing ticker tape parades for who's got the largest Defence budget and the most nukes. I do see Jesus telling folks to "give unto Caesar what is Caesar's". These rich folk get rich on usury - charging interest - which is very much explicitly prohibited in the Bible. Basically, what I'm getting at is that "American Jesus" seems to bear no relation - indeed, largely opposing relation - to the Biblical Jesus. You appear to be dying on a hill over issues that, in fact, neither Jesus nor God condemned, and are supporting policies that Jesus absolutely explicitly prohibited. I point this out because, you know, the Bible also tells us that the Devil will cite scripture for his own purposes. Are you entirely sure that the church leaders and evangelical preachers are, in fact, correctly reporting the Bible to you and are not, you know, "agents of Satan", working in their own interests? (Or, you know, by my own atheist viewpoint, just human beings exploiting your faith for their own selfish purposes - Murdoch owns Fox News, so does he strike you as a role model Christian in his behaviours and beliefs? Does Trump's behaviour remotely match up to the example of Jesus?) I feel you're being made "useful idiots" here. Told that Jesus and God, in the Bible, support these positions - even though not a word is actually said on these matters in condemnation (and, come on, the Bible is NEVER backward in coming forward with condemnation). And that the right-wing conservative politics that the Christian Church has tied itself to, seems in opposition to condemnation of a love of money, instruction to get up your earthly possessions (where rust and moth rot them) for Heavenly treasures, to be prepared to abandon your family in pursuit of Jesus, etc. "I like your Christ. But I don't like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ" - Mahatma Gandhi
"the Bible also tells us that the Devil will cite scripture" An objective read of those scriptures suggests that Satan actually *WROTE* them, so I guess he's entitled to cite his own work.

To Brandon: A short (but true) story for ya; When I, in the middle of the night, once crashed my car big time (no pun intended) at over 80m/h on a deserted highway (except for the car that tipped my left rear, causing it all) rolling over several times; blowing out all the windows the first time it landed on its roof; then skirting and screeching on it's (my) driver's side over the tarmac, and all the sparks that that caused, inches from my head, and me, seeing the streetlight-pole we (the car and I, that is) were heading for, as well as the old lady at the bus stop, 30 feet to the left of it, watching it all with a shocked expression on her face; The car then hitting a curb that got it air-born again, do another 180, missing that light pole by a few feet, before finally coming to rest on its roof; How I then, while hanging upside down in my seat, calmly unbuckled myself, carefully sliding down onto the glass-covered roof, which was now the floor, scraped open the door, crawled out, got up, and walked to the nearest guardrail to sit on as I heard the sirens of the emergency troops approaching from afar, racing to this scene of destruction I was looking at, and noticing the wheels were still spinning in the air as the engine was still running, while there was also fluids dripping from it, I got back into it to turn the key, shutting it down. Back at my guardrail spot, I returned to the wreck one more time to retrieve my wallet with my drivers license from the glove compartment and to dispose of a little bag of weed, I remembered noticing to be there when I put my wallet in it. The reason for telling you all this (besides being somewhat bored, having time to waste) is, that the crash itself, from the moment the other car tapped the left rear of mine till it came to rest on its roof, lasted ten seconds at the most. And yet I could fill an entire essay, describing everything my brain recorded of the event, up to the smallest of details. So much so that it seemed as if time itself had slowed down. But here's the thing; Time, of course _hadn't_ slowed down; It just _seemed_ as if it had, due to the fact that my brain geared up to this heightened state of awareness, processing much more information than it usually does in ten seconds, when I'm not in mortal danger. But (in response to the subject of your call) if I had broke my neck the moment my car landed on its roof that last time, and died, how could I even have all these notions I've just described, and ponder about the hows and whys of it all? The same, btw, goes for dreams; If you fall asleep and have an extremely eventful dream, and you wake up to discover you've only slept for half an hour, only _then_ could you wonder about the time discrepancy, comparing it to the amount of time it would take in regular life to experience all these impressions. You don't do that in the dream itself, do you? ps (edit): Thanks for reading all that. I, at least, enjoyed typing it all, better than being bored.
Thats a crazy situation! Thanks for sharing it!! I think I really understand what you mean, cause our eyes don't look out at things....things come into them and our brains then prosses them, which why when bored, or nothing going on time seems to move slow, while when a f-ton of stuff is happening it can seem time goes by fast, or in your case, the crazy accident, fight or flight, or whatever i could call it, the eyes and brain take in every little detail it possibly can all at once.
Also as far as dreams go, I spent about 2 years doing lucid dreaming, till one night I had a dream where I was in a house, all my closest friends were their, anytime I talked to them, they could only say things they have said to me before, some things I had forgotten they had said to me, it seemed to last about a full day, some friends I found out we hadn't said much at all, and others I could talk to for a long long time, but no new info or things they personally hadn't said to me....when I woke I was in an empty house (4 bed in Portland, usually roommates evertwhere) it had been just an hr or so.....I couldn't tell if I was awake or asleep.....so I called my best friend since childhood and roommate at the time. I asked him to tell me something he never had before, he rattles off some recipes from his job and the exact way they make guacamole!!! Lol the guac made me feel grounded again and I quit lucid dreaming that day.....the dream REALLY seemed to last a night and a day.

The Bible thumpers give us answers that can't be questioned, at least by the faithful believers. But I'm not one of the believers.
@@marcosolo6491 Well said. If the definition of supernatural is 'not natural', then it's a useless definition. I'm not interested in what it isn't. I want to know what it is. Theists have all kinds of word games they use to convince themselves. They are fond of saying that, "Something cannot come from nothing". What they don't do is define 'nothing'. They can't just call it lack of time, space, matter, energy etc. because they insist that their god still exists (somehow outside of time, space, matter, energy etc.). Then they insist that this god 'poofed' a universe into existence out of nothing. Question a theist on this and you'll get a tap dance of word games 'proving' there is no contradiction.
Wrong. We already know where life came from - Jesus (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1,14). Atheism insinuates that something like mud created the human being. That’s the materialistic world view, which is nothing but absolute idiocy. When you look at the intricacy of cells making proteins, for instance, you know the producer of the human being has INTELLIGENCE that is far beyond that of mankind. God vs us is like the world’s fastest computer “The Frontier” vs someone with a small whiteboard. The world's fastest supercomputer can perform more than a billion billion operations a second, but the trillion cells in the human being’s body does far more. The human being coming from mud just doesn’t cut it. Atheism has no basis in fact. Atheists can become Christians by realizing mud can’t produce a human, nor produce the mechanisms by which trillions of cells in the human body make proteins. Atheists can go to a good Pentecostal Church and be welcomed. Atheists can read The Book of Matthew & The Book of Acts & understand that none of it was made up. That Jesus was indeed the Son of God that actually lived, died & rose again. “Jesus Christ was killed for saying he was the Son of G0D. So either he was the Son of G0D OR he was nuts! I mean a “Charlie Manson” type delirium. And I’ve read what Jesus said in the Gospels. Jesus sounds very well-adjusted and wise. And I simply can’t believe that all the millions & millions of lives ... half the earth, for 2,000 years felt that their lives were touched, inspired ... by just some nutter.” - Bono
When God put the Tree of Knowledge in the center of the Garden of Eden , did He know what would happen ? IF He did , he set us up for failure ... IF He didn't , then he is NOT ALL-Knowing ... Now i know the standard come back is ... But , but , but ... FREE WILL . BUT , by being " All Knowing " , He took away their " free will " BECAUSE there is NO way they could possibly go against what an " All Knowing " God , already KNEW ...
yeah... ask them why their god didn't allow Pharaoh to exercise his free will and let Moses & Co leave as soon as he saw the staff turn into a snake. The only answer to that question leads to a very nasty conclusion about the nature of their god.
Wrong. God finished creation before he started it. He gave us free will to make our own choices. That's why there a "JUDGEMENT DAY." There need not be one if you don't have FREE WILL. Foreknowledge ≠ foredetermination. GOD DOESN’T MAKE YOUR DECISIONS! God said he wanted everybody saved (John 3:16), so why aren’t we all saved, being that we don’t have free will? Just because God KNOWS it, doesn’t mean he’s making it happen. Like it or not, G0D’s foreknowledge does not cause what we do. Nothing about foreknowledge impacts free will. You didn’t chose it because of what G0D knows. Try to learn.

If your life is screwed up by knowing about another person's life, the problem is not the other person, the problem is the person who is allowing themselves to be influenced.
They're missing Brandon's point. I've wondered if we end up being stuck in our last moment when we die. Because our individual experience, to us, is eternal. We never know a beginning, we just look back to our past. We won't know when we die either. So our life experience is all there is. Look at it like times you lived through life but have no memory of it. I was just in the head and remember nothing from the whole day. Yet I was alive and awake and thinking. We are alive and awake now, yet this moment will be like that time blackout. The fact that we are alive now must be an eternal running program that never ends or begins and we are always living in every moment. We just never feel the distance or time. We are just always in this moment. This is a reason against people having NDE's. That memory of leaving their body might have occured for 1 second or 1 hour or it might have happened right before waking up even though we thought it was during surgery that we float around. Just because we saw the surgery doesn't mean we didnt dream it right before waking up.
1:28:00 - No, _any_ omniscience would negate free will, not just if the omniscient entity also was the creator. If I _know_ what you're going to eat tomorrow, there are only two options - either you will eat exactly that, no choice left, or you will prove my knowledge wrong. So free will would prove omniscience wrong pretty much all the time.

Mike's call was particularly frustrating. Even if we were able to categorically "disprove" abiogenesis on Earth, that wouldn't make the "supernatural" claim any more valid
Although abiogenesis is indeed impossible and never happened (go watch the video “Why This Atheist Scientist Became a Believing Christian” for more), we sane have our own facts that prove God: God is proved by his creation, so I'll prove creation. Easy. Can you point to anything that can't be counted, measured & had no beginning or end (INFINITE)? No, you can't. EVERYTHING in this FINITE universe can be counted, measured & has a beginning and an eventual end. That means it was created; thus, "natural causes" don't exist. Nature can't be the "cause" of anything, because DYING/FINITE NATURE (time/space/matter/energy) was created from nothing by God. And ALL MATTER doesn’t do nothing but dissipate over time - LOSING INFORMATION. That’s why you never observe any GAIN OF NEW INFORMATION (e.g. big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, star formation, evolution), because it doesn’t exist, can’t exist & never will exist. Try to learn. TO FURTHER PROVE GOD; if it can be "counted or measured" it's a DYING/FINITE (having a beginning & an eventual END/death) entity that has a cause. Then, we simply ascertain what RATIONAL POSSIBLE cause has LIFE, INTELLIGENCE, LOVE, CONSCIOUSNESS & MORALITY to give and the INTELLIGENCE, POWER, PURPOSE, RESOURCES & MEANS to give it. No atheist cause (e.g. nothing, star dust, moist rocks, mud puddles, primordial soup) fits the bill. This SCIENCE points to God and nothing else. Atheism debunked.

I doubt he'll see it but my answer to Brandon is: You don't have any way of knowing what a person's last moments of life will be like. My sister was an atheist. I asked her "how married to that are you?" and she said "Totally." I told her about my belief. She was not impressed. Her health declined and she couldn't work and was calling me from time to time. She said she went to Easter celebration at her husband's family gathering and made her sister in law angry when she asked "Do you really believe someone rose from the dead?" I told her I thought it was inappropriate. So her health got worse and she was told she would need a liver transplant. Doctors put her through a lot of tests to get on the transplant list and she was calling me while she went through being in "transplant jail". She called and interrupted my midday prayer and asked "What are you doing?" and I said I was just praying and instead of saying "why?" she said "don't let me interrupt you." and I sensed she had softened her stance on religion. I offered to send her a Qur'an and she accepted it. Then her husband called and said she was in the hospital. Then he called to say she was going to hospice. Her husband's sister Lisa had been her good friend for years and was there with her. Lisa is possibly the nicest person I have ever known. She took such great care of my sister. Porn could give someone a negative view about women, pg movies could give a negative view about women, baseball could give a negative view about women. Anything can. Porn CAN negatively affect someone, so can anything else. Porn can also IMPROVE how we see things. Porn is not negative. It might have an affect on some people in a negative way but it's more likely that it only affects people who already have something wrong with them. From my experience people who watch porn don't see women any different than if they didn't watch. People need to already be primed to see women negatively for porn to have an affect like that. On the other hand, there is certain types of porn that can expose someone to negative aspects that can trigger someone into negative things. Like someone might find rape porn and if exposed to a bunch of that, it might start to have an affect on them. Or it might awaken a certain desire to rape. But that's not typical porn, it's not a typical person. Porn is not negative on its own

Brandon is a wise man. And the hosts kinda missed the point there. It's hard to say what you want to say with the stress sometimes and I think the point that he was trying to make was that when you're about to die, your perception of time probably isn't the same. Brandon didn't say that a dream was necessarly peaceful either. And that's his point I assume. If within your life you didn't manage to make peace with yourself, and as Matt is defining it, death is a process, and in that process, if a minute feels like a day, the time it could take you to really die, let's say a week, could feel like years as a matter of subjective perception. So within that time frame, what you experience while being in the process of dying could be made up of a multitude of emotional scenarios. I agree that trying to look into the subjective perception of time itself is an unfalsifiable claim that can't realistically be investigated as of now with our current technologies, but we all know what dreaming is and feels like still. We all dream differently and some don't remember their dreams at all but we can still understand and admit that a night of dreaming can feel like a week of imagined events. We know that a lot of people claimed to have seen Jesus or God while living a near death experience and realistically, what it tells us is that the beliefs as well as the state of mind of a person dictates a lot what the unrational parts of your subconscious will throw at you. And I assume that one of his point he was trying to make is that if you get indoctrinated with a hell belief and live your whole life in fear may causeyou to live a hell-like state of mind in the process of dying. Which Matt could surely agree makes these religions even worse. These kind of psychological manipulations and the kind of traumas it can bring is a clear point for most atheists, for obvious reasons. It's an interesting and valid topic that Matt is dismissing on a whim. Brandon didn't correlate any of this to spirits, ghosts, souls, gods or whatever and he obviously tried the best he could to not make it seems like it was his point. Because it was not. He was talking about the human psyche, our subconscious and our perception of space and time in the process of dying. It's also obvious that it's a call show and that, usually, these kind of discussions goes toward the surnatural, which wasn't the case here, but it's easy to set yourself in a dismissive mindsetm presuming what the speaker is trying to actually convey.
Dreams are not actually experienced as days or weekends. Dreams may give that impression by giving you short scraps of experiences that are temporarily spread out.
Theists make a mockery of their supposed god by constantly and willfully lying, deceiving and blaming others for all their burden failures. In debating theists for decades both offline and on, I've yet to meet an honest one.
I normally change channels about now (10 or so minutes in). So much of this stuff is repetitive and Matt can be annoying. But I love Seth so I'll stick around. 🙂
Historically, there have been 2 types of people: the intellectually curious, and the intellectually lazy. When confronted with the unknown, the intellectually curious get to work and observe, calculate, experiment, use logic and reason and critical thinking to try to understand how things work. The intellectually lazy just say “God did it.” The curious become scientists, the lazy become religious. Being religious is so much easier! It doesn’t require any intelligence, thought, logic, critical thinking, or any kind of work. See how easy it is? No wonder so many people choose that route!
Excellent points. However, it is very difficult to question something if everyone around you just accepts it. It takes courage to go against societal norms.
Exactly what I have said for years. I think it's laziness mixed with arrogance and ignorance and a total lack of critical thinking skills which requires effort and application.
I'm so incredibly glad that y'all pointed out the ad populem issue that the second or third person brought up. Everyone within the field of communication studies accepts that ethos is a form of "argumentation," but it is incredibly unreliable and inherently fallacious to utilize improperly. Ethos arguments must be made based on relevance, such as questioning someone's character as an individual, and even then it isn't an accurate measurement of a person's character but a record of events wherein that person had influence. But they can not be used to justify positions of other points or topics. Like, I can't say that the most amazing person within a local community is *not* a child predator just because they helped my grandmother and supported my family through crises. Their reputation may be golden, but that does not prove or disprove the plausibility of that person to have harmed a child at some point. It is simply irrelevant information. What I *can* say about a person based on their ethos is that I could confirm or deny their whereabouts at a specific time and/or place to my awareness in an ongoing investigation *because* that person was doing something either positive for the community or negative to a child (in the event that their whereabouts were unknown and there are no other explanations available that can be corroborated). All we can do is look at facts for logical arguments. The credibility of a person does not mean anything in the face of evidence - and the same can be said of pathos. An emotional appeal does not inherently justify a logical conclusion. This isn't to say that ethos and pathos can't be persuasive, but only that they should never be what you use to justify a belief or position that you hold to another person. It simply will not translate to them any amount of reasoning beyond stirring their emotions into confusion, developing a mob mentality type of justification for the position. Also, for the sake of Tom later on in the video, might I ask what *isn't* predictable simply by *knowing* the causality of all of existence? Omniscience should encapsulate knowing every single detail within the realm of science as *we* know it at a minimum, including every single physical interaction in the entire universe. Would that be unknowable? Because with that information, an omnipotent being would have the computational power to calculate every single possible event within the universe. So we come to a point at which we not only must remove "unknowable" information from this "omniscient" figure, but also we must now remove "incalculable computational power" from them as being defined as an "omnipotent' being. The "omni-god" is a conundrum, a paradox within itself in more than one property. As far as maximally good gods go, I'll need to reference additional material. It really seems like a side step, though, a moving goalposts fallacy. Changing the definition of the god being proposed inherently changes the nature of the argument. Another edit; I think when we move to the "maximally good god" argument, we must ask them how they *know* that goodness is inherently finite - how they *know* that there is a maximum and/or a minimum quantity or quality of goodness as a concept. Because if something is absolutely maximally good, there must be a logical explanation for why anyone would be averse to it. This is the part where they fall back onto "I don't know" which to them means "I have faith and therefore god" but to us means as stated, we don't know. At least this is my poor man's philosophical take on it through my lens. I can't say for certain that this works, as I've never tried asking it before. But it seems appropriate. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
Please don't give an excuse for why we haven't made " life in a test tube " yet. It may never be done, and that fact will never mean a god exists. But wait till somebody does accomplish it. Certain Christians will scoff, saying: " that's nothing, you just copied God. Now try making a universe in a test tube, smarty pants ".
For Brandon, there is a big difference between " finding peace" and escaping a miserable or painful situation by dying. " Finding peace" is just another euphemism for someone dying and I really dislike euphemisms in general and especially around the subject of death.

Thaddeus Richardson; the evidence of God is in a changed heart, mind and life - totally personal - and unable to be seen by a phone call or from the seat of scorn and mocking. Jesus did a scant number of miracles in His hometown of Nazareth because of the prevalence of unbelief - a confirmation bias which renders a person unable to 'see and hear' God's message. If you want to see John 3 16 in action, get out of Nazareth.

To the American Christians,
Where in the Bible (chapter and verse, please) does it say:
* porn is bad
* abortion is prohibited
* trans is wrong
* gambling is a sin
* lesbianism is an abomination
Because in my review of scripture, I see no explicit reference to any of these commonly held "die on a hill" issues for American Christians.
Does Trump's behaviour remotely match up to the example of Jesus?)
I feel you're being made "useful idiots" here.
Your Christians are so unlike your Christ"

Well said...
"the Bible also tells us that the Devil will cite scripture"
An objective read of those scriptures suggests that Satan actually *WROTE* them, so I guess he's entitled to cite his own work.

3. A being that lacks something, is not infinite.

To Brandon: A short (but true) story for ya; When I, in the middle of the night, once crashed my car big time (no pun intended) at over 80m/h on a deserted highway (except for the car that tipped my left rear, causing it all) rolling over several times; blowing out all the windows the first time it landed on its roof; then skirting and screeching on it's (my) driver's side over the tarmac, and all the sparks that that caused, inches from my head, and me, seeing the streetlight-pole we (the car and I, that is) were heading for, as well as the old lady at the bus stop, 30 feet to the left of it, watching it all with a shocked expression on her face; The car then hitting a curb that got it air-born again, do another 180, missing that light pole by a few feet, before finally coming to rest on its roof;
How I then, while hanging upside down in my seat, calmly unbuckled myself, carefully sliding down onto the glass-covered roof, which was now the floor, scraped open the door, crawled out, got up, and walked to the nearest guardrail to sit on as I heard the sirens of the emergency troops approaching from afar, racing to this scene of destruction I was looking at, and noticing the wheels were still spinning in the air as the engine was still running, while there was also fluids dripping from it, I got back into it to turn the key, shutting it down.
Yeah, but JESUS!
Wow! Great story. Thanks for sharing. Glad you survived to tell the tale.

Therefore, it is observed that life had ti orginate from non-life.

True, though studies _are_ narrowing down how it _could_ have started. Hell, for all we know, it may very well have started by several different "methods" all over the planet. Maybe the early results of some of those methods were gobbled up by others, leaving no trace, but having "helped" life as we know it to develop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can X (atheism, naturalism, materialism) explain Y (pick something that isn’t fully explained yet)?
If not, Z (God explains it)
@@Wolf-ln1ml I've often wondered just how many times life got started. Considering the conditions that existed back then, it's possible that the original nascent life didn't survive very long and then got going again because the conditions that allowed life in the first place were still there.
"Everything in life is easier when you don't concern yourself with what other people are doing."

My sister was an atheist. I asked her "how married to that are you?" and she said "Totally."
I told her about my belief. She was not impressed.

Calm down. You have no factual basis for your atheism. Atheism is INFAMOUS the world over for having ZERO ANSWERS. There is no RATIONAL/POSSIBLE, step-by-step atheist explanation for reality. That's because there isn't one. That's because God is real. It's time to get out of this asinine atheist cult. I'll help you. Do you have any questions? Because I wouldn't be here if I didn't have all the important answers.
No need for that…
He’s rude and turns people off to anything he has to say. It’s not awesome. He needs to learn some humility.
1:48:15 - Where is this video Matt speaks of? He says he just made the vid but the only vid I can find was a year ago.
It's on his channel, came out at the start of the month
@@amtlpaul Ok, cool. I'll try n find it. Thx.
And what does your projection do for atheism?

I think Matt could've exercised a little more compassion with the caller who was worried about ruining others' death experience.
For real! The dude seemed to be a huge fan and Matt was incredibly rude and hostile.

Christianity, moving the goalposts since the first century.

For Brandon, there is a big difference between " finding peace" and escaping a miserable or painful situation by dying. " Finding peace" is just another euphemism for someone dying and I really dislike euphemisms in general and especially around the subject of death.
