That’s cool, it seems the 1/16 and smaller scale vehicles are really coming together now . I bought a Hyper-go mjx -sg1605 and it’s so well made and drives exceptionally well! I’m into 1/5 scale but I’m really drawn to these well made affordable rc’s . Cool video really enjoy your content
I remember having an rc about this scale in my early teens and it was no where near this detailed and capable. It's really cool to see something like this especially at such a cost friendly point.
😂😂 I thought for sure it was too good to be true! Clicked on the link on Instagram and said "let's see if I can find this somewhere a little cheaper". Amazon came through and I knew I had to try it out!
Nah I bought one from a ad on instagram and they scammed me stole a bunchhhh of money from my account I called and at first they didn’t do refunds but as soon as I brought up my lawyer they were all about giving me my refund
I bought one not because I was baited but, because I was already buying the little monster truck they make. I saw a blue R34 and if it was any other car I could have passed, I'm weak though. The truck is a bit better and more useful overall but, the scale detail on this thing is great(especially the lights). I'm thinking I could get replacement wheels from the racing(grip) version, turn off the gyro and have best of both worlds. Swap the wing with the black one it comes with, I think it looks even better :) You need a very smooth surface and past that it's just a matter of dialing in the gyro vs the steering dual rate and you can get some awesome drifts with something this small.
Yes! I've been very impressed with its capabilities at such a small scale. I have noticed it drifts better on surfaces such as my desk as opposed to the ping pong table or even the floor. A few people have mentioned the little monster truck now, I may have to check that one out!
@@FullThrottleRC The little truck turns on a dime with it's tiny little rubber tires and almost nonexistent wheelbase lol. It comes with ramps and spare parts instead of extra bodies. You can actually spin it around instantly with the brake, or reverse. I'm not sure it's an actual brake but, it rotates so fast for how tiny it is.
I actually still have a lot of fun with this little car but it seemed like most people were disappointed with it cause it didn't drift as well as people hoped. I think lots of people expect it to drift the same as a 1/10th car and although I'm not the most skilled driver, I don't really know if that's even possible. Still a lot of fun though
Awesome video making & micro rc drift my friend!Really enjoy watching your review & now you can drift everywhere😂 Liked & subbed. Hope to see more videos & shorts of this tiny awesome micro drift😁👍🏼
@@FullThrottleRC Welcome my friend. Look fwd to your project. We think this tiny rc drift wld be trending on shorts plus helps increase your channel's view too😁👍🏼
I think a lot of people end up disappointed cause they are expecting it to drift like a 1/10 rwd car and I just don't think that's possible. It's still really fun to slide around though and at such a cheap price like you mentioned, I think it's a great little car. Have to know what to expect with something this size though.
After I watched a couple of other videos I found that it has a traction control knob on the radio and seems to make it drift a lot more. Maybe verify that? You could have had it cranked up
@@SkitzoFPV it's the gyro control that you're talking about. It's pretty fun to play around with. Too little gyro input from the gyro and all it'll do is donuts really.
@@SkitzoFPVit can drift though it’s hard to get good at you need a perfect surface some people have mastered it and drift them pretty well for its size
Great vid, i also got scammed with an online order. Do you know if you can 'race' 4 of these at the same time without any of the remote controls interfering with one/any of the other cars? I bought two 1:16 cars, and one remote control effects them both (making them pointless 😅). Any help would be appreciated thanks
Im thinking about buying it but Im currious about something? How is its durability in case it falls off the table or if I hit something while driving? Is it too fragile?
It can put together some drifts on certain surfaces. I wouldn't buy it expecting anything like a 1/10 drift car but it is definitely capable of drifting and being pretty fun to play around with indoors on a small scale.
It doesn't unfortunately. I just bought one and it is being returned. Spent 2-hours adjusting settings, you will only get tight spins in one place, or wobbling with the gyro turned on, so you really can't pull an even slightly ling drift turn...
@@wantedmedia2799 I bought and received mine a few days ago, I found some good settings for drifting it. If you want you can try them before sending it back? Do you want me to send you the settings?
Yes it does! It actually comes with two extra bodies that you can paint yourself. I'm curious how it would handle with a hot wheels body as it would be considerably heavier
Honestly at $30 I'd assume it's fake as these are normally $80-100. But check out the video and some of the comments before buying. I try to be completely honest with everything on the channel, it's a fun car but definitely not comparable to a typical 1/10 scale rwd drift car if you are used to that. Still a really fun little car but it depends what you are looking for.
This made me not spend money on this…either it skids in to a quick 180 degree or it barely skids at all from what i saw. Money saved and an argument with wifey avoided 😂
It's hard for me to give you my exact settings as there's no real numbers on the dials. Turn down the svc knob if it's swerving a lot. The gyro is over working
recently purchased this rc car, is there a way to fix this issue that i have? When i try to drive it in a straight line, it wobbles from side to side, and also the front wheels wobble from side to side when its not in motion, and off the ground.
How long did it take for you to get yours? I selected fast and free delivery and it's been almost 3 weeks, when I emailed them a week after purchase they said it would be in withing 6 days.
Mine took right about 2 weeks ordering from Amazon. I was aware it would take longer than normal Amazon shipping so I didn't think the 2 weeks was too bad. I'd contact Amazon if you purchased there.
Just bought this and now it is getting returned, unfortunately, I was not able to adjust the settings after endless mixtures of different parameters. It keeps drifting in tight circles, and if the gyro is on even 1/3 of the way it starts wobbling in a straight line. Really disappointed since it looks incredible with the lights and details.
I can completely understand this. Like I mentioned in most of my videos on this little car, anyone who is used to the way a 1/10 car drifts will be disappointed with this car. Expectations definitely have to be turned down cause this car just won't drift like that. I think it's a combination of the gyro like you mentioned and the tires being metal. For someone looking for something just to play around with indoors, I think it's pretty fun. But I agree that if you're looking for something to drift like a typical 1/10 car, it's pretty disappointing unfortunately
Love this video! I plan on getting this but I'm still researching and overthinking because one thing I saw in some reviewing on amazon is that it has a major charging issue. Does yours have a charging issue and will it be worth it to buy this or to go for a bigger scale? (my plan B is a kyosho mini z of an rx7 fc)
I haven't had any issues with charging mine. I've used the charging feature directly in the transmitter as well as used USB cables to charge it. As for if it's worth it it's completely up to what you want. These are substantially smaller than the Mini Z in my opinion but the Mini Z is also quite pricier.

Check out some of the other comments as well as on the other video I did on this car. It is heavily reliant on the type of surface it's on to get really good drifts. I think cause of the material the wheels and tires are made of. A little disappointing to have to have a special surface for it to drift properly but still a really fun little car to slide around.
They are sick little cars tho. The little monster trucks are even fun too cuz they are hotwheel size......winder if you could drive these on hotwheels tracks??
I honestly haven't seen any other drift cars at this size. There's a few micro drifters that are much better such as the Mini Zs but they aren't as small as this car. I don't know of any other 1/74 scale drift cars
