They were all rated V0 which is the easiest you can climb and I was pretty clear that I wasn’t able to even complete them all because I didn’t feel safe! It can definitely be dangerous if you’re not smart about it.

Haha thank you! Well it definitely was dirty but I would say a dirtbag is someone who lives out of their car and goes rock climbing all the time! I live out of my car but I only climb once in a blue moon so it was my attempt for the day😂😂

Question! Do they make you rent the pad for boulder climbing or is it just highly recommended? SECOND QUESTION! Is the pad heavy? And lastly...your shadow looked like spongebob hiking in the desert.

No one makes you but it’s strongly recommended! Even jumping a foot or two onto the ground with climbing shoes hurts😂 technically it’s recommended you have someone with you to move the pad around and spot you because as you climb up, the likely hood of you falling exactly onto the pad probably isn’t high😂 that’s why I kept coming down a lot to figure out how I was gonna climb it and move the pad accordingly! You can also just scramble around and on rocks in tennis shoes and have fun in Joshua tree, lots of people do, (without the pad)
