I went on a school trip to D.C. in April. We walked through that cemetery and it was just humbling to see all the people buried there. Even more so because my cousins husband was recently wounded in war when his group's hummer went over a hidden land mine. I thank God for him and all those fighting for our freedom. It is true, they will never be forgotten.
the true Heroes not the mad up ones on tv . Thank you for this skit . want to thank every military person, all the police, fire and rescue and all that served and that are serving right now Thank you for your service and sacrifice may GOD Bless everyone of them .
Im a young veteran and I must say: Thank you for such as great video. It touched me deeply. God bless the families of our fallen, our country and the world. Sincerely Former SGt Panimboza US Army
Thank you for such a great video....I'm an army wife with a 15 month old son....his dad has been deployed since he was 6 months and wont be returning anytime soon. This video made me cry and sad but it also filled me with pride. Thank you once again
im not from america but i am grateful for the heroes of my country who have fought and died for us because of them we are a nation that has the freedom of being who we want to be, doing what we want to do, and having the freedom to worship God without fear of being persecuted i just pray that other countries will be able to have that freedom one day!!
You are well into the beginning of your service now and I would like to thank you for making the decision and sacrifice to protect America's freedom. You didn't have to, and you are appreciated by me and my family! God bless all Military men and women. Keep them safe and watch over their families.
i get thanked by a lot of people for being in the Army. i'm nothing special. i just wear that uniform to remind me that there have been others who wear the same one. but i'm no hero. i'm only a man who's willing to sacrifice everything that i have for the safety of my family and friends. the real heroes are the ones who never made it home alive
We can agree to disagree with the people in places of power making the hard decisions. They are not the heroes. The heroes are the ones that answer the call to serve their country and to lay down their lives for their fellow countrymen. Those are the heroes.
i see what you're getting at, and as an American Soldier, i question the orders that are wrongfully given if something stupid comes up. we're not supposed to be an empire. we're not even supposed to be "Big Brother." what i'll always be first is a Soldier of Christ and an American Soldier second
Yes Americans have fought unnecessary wars. But the men and women who fought them did so because the took an oath. They were not responsible for initiating nor expanding these conflicts. But they are under oath to follow orders.
Too bad Westboro Baptist Church don't it see this way. We need to pray for them to see the sacrifice soldiers made for freedom against terror & atheistic communism have made and to understand the the gospel and Jesus sacrifice made to set us free sin-murder of the heart-death.
Yes, I have paid attention to our history. We were once just like you. But then we tasted the bitterness of war in our own country and since then we despise it. We would never produce a video like this over here, talking about soldiers as "heroes" and such. At least not in Germany. I don´t mean to judge your country. I´m just offering the perspective of an outsider. Sometimes people find this helpful to think outside the box.
Ugh... Please don´t get me wrong, but, as a European, I don´t like this video. Yes, we are thankful for what America has done for us in the past, like fighting Hitler - we have not forgotten that. But America has also fought a lot of unnecessary and imperialistic wars. And to see, how little most Americans distinguish between the two and how uncritically they glorify all war, is rather distressing. Especially as Christians we should know better, shouldn´t we?
I wish this was a tv ad. For this country!!!
Yeah play it during the nfl. Just before any Crapernic's take a knee
Wow! A simple thank you is enough, but you went above and beyond to thank us. Thank for doing this video. Much appreciated

Our soldiers history, didn't kill millions of Jews for no reason. We have no reason to be shameful of our history.
