Devin Castle, my favourite place to have visited in Slovakia.
Only about another 99 castles to go before I can judge which is my favourite 😉

This is a very charming city and easy to get to, I hope I can return to visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Thanks for watching
Gorgeous tranquil virtual visit. Amazing stills too, beautiful composition. More monuments please!
Thank you stay tuned more will surely follow.
A beautiful place to visit. The countryside is amazing and the villages are very picturesque. Bratislava is a mix of very old and very new. The statues are an eclectic mix of of style and history; from elegant to brutalist and everything in between. These videos are well presented and narrated in a relaxed and friendly manner. Very enjoyable.
Thank you for the lovely comments. Glad you’re enjoying the videos.
The Roman metropolis Carnuntum ( up to 70.000 inhabitants) was erected in 6 A. D. by Roman Tiberius and his Legions. Carnuntum is 6 kilometers in distance from Devin castle. Tiberius personally visited Devin. Down the Danube river were merchant routes held. The weapons, slaves, Silk and Amber goods. Here was Wogastisburg where King Samo in 633 A. D. stood with the Slavic Army against Dagobert I.
Such a fascinating history and beautiful area too.
The Bronze Age 2.300 - 750 years B. C. E. in our region. There is also other fortress VRABLE-FIDVAR from 2.250 years B. C. E. for more than 2.000 inhabitants approx. 150 kilometers from Devín to East near river ZITAVA.
Thank you I will have a look for that one too.
