I’ve definitely missed her. She’s just so raw and real and gives us real life advice and how shit actually works in life.
this made me happy thank u for watching love
@@HaileySani thank you. You make me happy I’m so glad you are back to RUclips. We all missed you
For everyone thinking about studying abroad, please, please, please don't go to the same city as your boyfriend/girlfriend! This is about you having the best time of your life and learning to enjoy stepping out of your comfort zone!
Honestly one reason why people have such a rush of emotions when in Paris is because they have their expectations so high up that reality basically just hits harder. As a European we kinda know the way it is there so we don’t romanticize it that much but Americans literally act like Paris is a fairytale. Not saying that the city doesn’t have breathtaking parts but honestly most of it isn’t really it. Especially compared to other parts of France that honestly should be much more romanticized.
I'm french and can totally relate to your comment. It's important to remind that Paris is not (at all) the most beautiful, or peaceful place of the country. I'd wish people cared more about discovering french country and medium towns than always focus on Paris and its supposed perfect vibes, clothing styles and cafés...
@@lucie9694 Hey I m from India where are you from?
@@bhumikaagarwal7787 . She said she is French. Maybe she is from France.
The amount of effort u and Tom put into ensuring Ghost would have a good life is fuckin awesome… best of luck in ur nyc chapter
thank u babe!!
I came to USA from Turkey with a student program and I cried NONSTOP for 2 weeks. I was like girl let me get out of here because I don't wanna eat fruits from plastic bags by myself anymore 😣 Now living my life after 2 months, meeting with great people. Found some pretty groceries 😆 Had too many (like more than necessary) downs but it was literally a life changing experience. That is what being young adult is all about! We learn things in a harsh way sometimes but it is the most effective way I would say. I know it is hard but embrace the bad moments in your life because it usually gets better guys 💞
THE STORY ABOUT GHOST!!! YOU'RE A REAL ONE! I appreciate and love and respect you so much more for really making sure that Ghost has a proper home, regardless of the company lol
I absolutely love London. Once you get the hang of things there which doesn’t take long tbh, things are so smooth and nicer. Loved hearing your experience.
People being friendly definitely helps. When there’s a large sum of people in a country who are generally moody towards foreigners it feels awful
The best part of this was finding out Ghost is living his best life! Thanks for being so open and honest even though you don't owe it to anyone
been here for some years now and this is one of the best videos you've ever made! i just love how you communicate and share your experiences. thanks girl, sending you some love from brazillll 🇧🇷
You're so articulate at such a young age and able to frame your thoughts and perspectives so well. I can connect with you very much about your not-entirely-perfect experience in Paris (mine was a city in Germany). As you said, there's always a silver lining to hard times. Appreciate your sharing :)
I’ve been in London for 5 years and I’m only just now starting to feel comfortable here.. it’s so hard to adjust in these cities! For me the biggest thing was having an apartment that feels like home so I totally get what you mean. Looking forward to more videos from you again 💜
so so proud of u hailey! you inspire me so much. also the ghost story is so pure and special, you and tom are really amazing for that. thank u for this video, very excited to see what amazing things are next for you!! 🤍🤍🤍
Soo happy for you to be back to your own space and talk videos ✨✨can’t wait for your videos after the Vacation all love
I'm sorry to hear about you and Tom breaking up.
Firstly it's Amazing to see you so happy and smiling. I'm so sorry things never worked out for you in the way you expected them to in Paris :( . Super happy about how much you loved your time in London and lastly, I'm very sorry to hear about you and Tom.
The way I can literally draw a timeline from the updates Hailey is giving us. :")
I have been living in Amsterdam for 1 year and the first 6 months were magical! I had a very close group of friends, exciting parties, events, loved going to school, etc. But in December we had lockdown and winter really hit… When I came back from my holiday season, everything had changed. My group was growing apart and things that used to excite me didn’t anymore. And I had to understand that studying abroad is not linear, we have shitty times and good times and sometimes is very hard to navigate through them. I completely understand what you said about the winter in Paris and know you are not alone. Amazing video!! ❤️
Hailey, so proud of you and i can’t wait for more to come ❤️
This whole video was so relatable but I really related to being sad cus u build a little life for yourself. I stayed in Italy for 3 months study abroad and I remember being sad leaving my apartment even tho I complained about having such a tiny bed and complained about how cold it was. Like I was so happy there and felt so independent and confident there.
Oooh I missed your sit down videos so much! You’re such a genuine youtuber ♥️
Watching this made myself so proud.
I did that when I was 13 untill I turned 20 on my own in another country. Wow, good job to myself.
I was erasmus in Paris for 5.5 months (back in 2019) and i had the best time even with the highest expectations and then when i moved last year back to Paris more permanently i swear i was crying for 2-3 months. It felt like i was in a different city and it was exactly like you were saying. Now im back home for the summer and hopefully next year will be smoother but i was really proud for figuring it out.
We miss you sharing your life with us!! Love the story of you and Ghost. I'm sure he'll have the best life with his foster family :D
You literally made the best decision for Ghost! I love it. ❤
So excited for this!!! Love love love all your videos hailey
Love you in this video, you really be glowing girl! It's so nice to hear your life is as messy as anyone else's....Now, talking about the fun shit...you're single...in your twenties...in nyc...go rock your life!!! Hugs all the way from Uruguay 💙💙
Thank you for taking the time to explain everything. I really was confused😋
I studied abroad in Florence, Italy last semester and it was the best experience of my life. If you ever get a chance to study abroad in Italy, I definitely recommend it!
Me too
How’s the prices there? And the cost of living
I’m so happy for ghost 🥹🥹 and you obv living your best life in new york 🤩💕
that actually cleared up so many questions, kinda feels like we had a lil catch up over some coffee haha, thanks :)
So glad you are back I missed you so much❤️😩
I actually moved to Italy last year and it was THE HARDEST thing ive ever done but I’m still going back and staying for 2 1/2 more years. It takes time
Ok but people living in Paris really are mean. It was the only city were I felt constantly judged. A bodyguard literally yelled at me for not speaking french perfectly and I was just visiting…
Yeaaah I feel that. I'm currently living in Paris for my studies, but I'm from another part of France. Literally every non-Parisian French person I know hates Paris. People are sooo anxious and walk too fast and never have time for you. It feels like you're all alone all the time. But hey, I have no choice but to keep on living here for a few years to come, so I'm also learning to see the good parts of the experience... Not everything's dark in the end ! And she's right, summer in Paris is game-changing - mostly because Parisians go away at that time hahahaha
so much teaaaa
it's cool to watch how your family navigates moving and not having one permanent home base. my parents are europeans living in the US, and even though I'm scared to give up my familiarity, I want to try moving back. property ownership is just so pushed here as such an important thing.
bro :(( i loved you & Tom together so much, that is so sad to hear but i’m sure you both will prosper regardless ♥️
Wow that was needed.
On another note- love the tee💕
I have been waiting for this 😭😭😭😭
I’m from UK and went to study in Turkey and it was good but there was sooo many negatives 😭 moving anywhere is hard to adapt to bc it’s just a fkn culture shock
Love you Hailey, you're definitely my favorite youtubeur! x
Try Asia one day, it'll be interesting to see your perspective/experience on it.
I guess the culture shook won't be that deep because turkey is kinda similar in many things, but there surely are big differences still
aaa im so excited!!! love
You are doing great 😊. Thanks for sharing this sweetie.
You are my comfort youtuber. Missed it :))
You are the best and keep it up Hailey ♥
I think there's a huge difference between living in Paris and just going for holidays... And next time try to visit another city in France because to me,Paris is a bit hard to accommodate ! Great video by the way!
I love your chat videos ❤️
You're the best Hailey ☀️
Thanks for sharing✨
✨FIRST ONE✨love your videos Hailey❤️🥰
Love you so much hailey i want too see you always happy 😍
I missed this🥺💗
Hailey, you're the best❤
I'm kind of surprised that a family in texas wanted him just because we have soooo many strays and overflow of dogs in shelters here, but that being said, it still sounds like he found the PERFECT home for him. Thank you so much for driving him there ❤️
Loved this vid :)
Thanks for the update I was so anxious about your life hahahah
I was so much laughing at the Ghost situation 😁 but anyway tou did a GREAT job!!
I had a similar experience in Paris. I was supposed to go for a semester with my best friend, she decided not to come so I went all alone. It was terrible. All I was thinking about was how to get back home quicker. It was a great experience overall, I think I needed something like that, but it just wasn’t for me. 🥰
WHY 😭😭😭😭😭 you guys are perfect match, it breaks my heart so much knowing that you guys broke up 😭
Hailey could you share/link your bracelets please ?
You are awesome hailey
You are the definition of this saying: When life gives you lemons make lemonade out of it!! We are so proud of youu💗😭
I was waiting for this episode! It felt like watching the last stranger things season
Love youu!
This is one thousand percent the video I desperately needed and didn't even know it
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH 14:27 Omg ily
I thought I wouldnt watch it cuz its too long but i ended up finishing it that was fast haha🫶🏼 me watching eylül living her life while I was doing nothing the whole timeline
Beautiful ❤️
I’m a European who just moved to the US to work and I completely relate. I’m having a really shitty time here and missing home
The fact that you overall judge Europe and lived for a short period of time in two cities
Hi Hailey. What’s been your favorite country so far to travel to abroad?
GODDD I MISSED UR VIDS
Can you film a video with advice for living in Europe? I'm moving there soon and i just moved back home from a terrible time in dubai by myself.
Our best days our behind us.
Really early hereeeee
ily
Omggg ilyy
Lol I remember seeing you at where the pancakes are on my birthday but I was too scared to say hi…
Oh actually 4 years in france , 50 km from paris . And i cry every day for 4 years ..... ( that is too sad when i understand i have one life ...
Ok but I love your shirt
Did you decide to move to NYC before the situation with Tom?
yes
You should come to Bostonnn
But Greece is also not doing well economically
Turkey is so bad rn that I don’t think Greece could be worse
From a French perspective, I think of course the fact that you went to Paris in winter, that it was a different langage for you and all didn't help but also just going from London to Paris... not a good transition! I've studied in England too and people are just so nice and welcoming, you feel safe even at night, etc and that's just not something you can get in Paris or even in France in general ! So yeah I totally get your "bad" experience, sorry for the wickedness / meanness of some (not all) French people 😅
Newyork a dondugun de t-shirt istiyorum hailey 🏳️🌈 harikaaaaa Cunkuu 🤦🏼♀️
As soon as I left Izmir and went back to England, Hailey went to Izmir lol
My mom and her friends didn’t like Paris either, and I hear that it rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Not sure why I haven’t been before.
What are you studying / your mayor? What degree do you want
i'm a communication major!
Okay so right now, how is Turkey?
Are you a saggitarius rising?!
I live in France and I want to get out of here so badly. I wasn’t born here but I was born in Belgium so Europe. Anyways I basically hate it here for so many reasons but yeah school is incredibly hard here and like it doesn’t need to be. People here are also horrible, they’re mean, judgemental a d honestly complain so muchhhh it pisses me off. They def think they are the best of the best which…isn’t necessarily true. Dont get me wrong its not all bad but when high school is like 90% of ur life its kinda hard to like the country when u constantly feel miserable
did they broke up? hailey and tom?
yes
I’m sure it’s been said before but NY is truly becoming the new LA, and I say that with 0 malicious intent lol, but if you’ve been watching Yt for as long as I have you’ll understand what I mean
What are you studying?
If I remember correctly..she was studying something in communications
What is your nationality?
She's originally from Turkey, I think she'd also be considered American now
all the internet does is romanticise other peoples lives so it’s refreshing to have an honest perspective:))
The reason that you dislike Paris is that you missed your family when you was in Paris. I understand. You don't speak the language, friends people are not easy-going. They hate to speak English. Of course not all of them, but most of them.
I think you’re kinda misinforming people when you talk about the fact that you apparently can’t walk into a shop and buy a whole bunch of miscellaneous things like groceries/printers/ whatever else in the same store! Haha you defo can girl! Maybe just not where you were but you defo can in a lot of European countries :)
I was going off of the cities I lived in, especially being in downtown areas!
Go to Ksenia Calm chanel, she just uploaded a video made in Paris. This is just a rant of a miserable jelaous American
