I have been saying something of that nature for several years now, knowing I probably heard it from someone else. If we were good enough to get mad at a game, such as golf, WE, would be on tv. Its just a game. Go out have fun, remember your good shots, not the bad, right. Its just a game.

So much wisdom on display. Thank you for the gems. From you dad: “You’re not good enough to get mad.” From you: “It is never too late in the round to hit your best shot.” Great thoughts to keep in mind and stay on course.
I could watch you play Spyglass Hill every week. Though I’ve only played it on simulator at my local TopGolf, it’s my favorite track too. I’ve always appreciated your relaxed approach to playing this “game”. So much so, that I’ve adopted it myself and it’s done wonders to keeping some rounds from completely going sideways at times. All the best with your golfing journey and I look forward to future content!
I truly enjoy & appreciate you & your escapades!!! I stopped playing in 2008(after only 3 years learning on my own)& started back up in 2023 & after some serious injuries(spent a couple months in a nursing home in 2015) but I decided F it lol & I'm much worse than I was when I first started 🤦♂️😬😫🤣🤣🤣 But I truly enjoy watching AND listening to you, so thank you!!!
I dont understand how you dont have more followers!! I have been watching you since you only had a little over 1k followers (i think?) And you have always been awesome to watch
Thanks! I do a bad job of doing the whole "smash that subscribe button" spiel. The odd time I mention it, subscribers really pick up. But it's not really my vibe.
Love this round! While I’ll never probably film a round I’m happy your poor Spy round is only 2 worse than my really good Spy round from the same tees. I’m improving hurrah!!
I think you shooting 84 is a great score. A very tough course and the rough is so unforgiving. Good to see your Subs slowly rising. Shows you are doing it right. 😊👍
As someone who’s home course is Bethpage Black, this is the one course that I have played that stands superior to it imo. Can totally understand the fear over every shot as the same thing happens to me. Played about two dozen rounds at Bethpage and two at spyglass just for reference. Love your content!!
My dad used to remind me I’m not good enough to get angry too haha. How does spyglass compare in price to pebble? Do you have to stay at the resort to play it too usually?
If I videoed my round of golf you would never hear anything I said. All you would hear is ducks quacking. Please keep the videos coming Adam, they are getting me through my work day.
At 09:52 you describe your approach as "183 in, playing 195, all carry, so I'm hitting a 200 club and I have to hit all of it". The ball seems to be in the rough. Is this a situation where you maybe took on a shot that you don't really have, and should instead have considered laying up to a comfortable distance in to the green?
@@NotAScratchGolfer probably because of the higher air density by the ocean. That’s what we were told when we played at Spanish bay. Gold 6400 played like 6700. It was rough.
When I have the ball above my feet out of the rough all day. It's going to be a long round. There's a course my buddy likes that I refuse to play because of the way it punishes left handed players with ball above the feet.
I have no fear over any golf shot However I suck Every shot I hit is a bad one and that never seems to change even with practice Kudos for being 100X better at golf than I am (LOL)
Thanks!
Thanks so much!! Appreciate it and thanks for being a long-time viewer!
Hey - I was one of the deer on 13. Cool video.
lolll
Great work Adam I have said it before but I just love your approach to golf. It has helped me so much with my game. Keep it up 👍
Thanks man.
“Not good enough to get angry” is a fantastic piece of advice. I will have to remember that one. Great video!

@NotAScratchGolfer 14:14 are you talking about hole #2 at Queenie Park pitch & putt?
Yes!!!!

Thanks for the kind words! Wish I could play Spyglass every week :p
Sheesh Adam, an 84 ANYWHERE is a good score. At Spyglass?!? Phenomenal. Love the content man. Keep it up!
Thanks! Spyglass is such a treat to play.
Well done! Safe travels and looking forward to your next round.
I already have a therapist and couldn't agree more it's a game changer. On and off the course! Thanks for your vids.
New subscriber, now my favourite golf channel. Love the videos!
Glad to have ya!

@johnsacco4994 did you have to do the extreme morning wait?
Thanks, John! I'd love to play Bethpage one day! Used to live in NYC but that was before my golfing days!
for a course that hard, i think you did pretty great!! and like you said, just being there is a big part of the joy!
Bingo!
Chip on 4 is one of the best shots I’ve seen you hit. Great stuff
Decent round Adam!! The weather looked nice out there and the course and scenery is amazing!!🏌♂⛳😀
Just love your style of content Adam, well done as always
Thanks!
Great round Adam!!! “Not good enough to get angry”, that is how I play golf!!! That course is very tough a 84 is a great score!!!
Thanks!
A group let someone filming a round play through? This might be a first in RUclips history
they probably wanted as much time on the course as possible
Let it not be said that filming necessarily slows down play! We're pretty quick!
84 is still really great for spyglass hill...such a tough course adam...really proud of you!
Thanks, man!
Love that! "You are not good enough to get angry!". gonna bank that one for when I'm playing bad and getting mad!
Great line
Golf IS my therapy. It's been a life saver for me.
Likewise!
never gonna tire of seeing you play spyglass hill
Wish I could play it every day.
Love your channel man, your approach to golfing combined with narration is fantastic!
Thanks, Michael!
Your attitude on the course is so good.
Thanks!

Great stuff Adam.
Thanks!
Lol another time we played within the same week on the same course. It was brutal how soggy and muddy the hole 1 fairway and rough were!
Wow what are the odds?! Where is home base for you again?
Great video work!
Thanks, Steve!
Your ability to average sub-30 putts is really impressive.
When you only hit 3 greens in regulation...
Hahah@@NotAScratchGolfer sadly I'm consistently north of 36 regardless of GIR! Still holding out hope for that putting video :)

Yeah you're right on here. Given how difficult the lies in the rough were, I probably would have been better going iron wedge there.
What’s the go with no one filling in there divots at 2:17
If I recall, they didn't give us any. I suspect grounds guys go out there every day and fill 'em.
What tee did you play from?
We played whites at 6,100-6,200 yards. So glad we did. Felt like it was playing MUCH longer that day.

I recognize that hoodie.
When are we going to Monterey next?
When the rain stops.@@NotAScratchGolfer
Is that your mic on the hat? How long did it take you to get used to something like that?

Lol cheers, Daniel. How often do you play?
@@NotAScratchGolfer Not very often these days, I gave up after months of trying
Get back at it!@@DanielSong39
Could have shot a 78 if you bogied the first. 🤣
Getting bretter at golf takes lots of play... golf is expensive tt
Good round, it only took to the 8th hole to get a 'quack' 😂
Could have used one on the tee shot on 7 :p
