Hi Milda.....I've done this mine myself but never gone down the second incline as yet. Have you heard from Chris at Shonky tours lately? I've not seen him post in the last month or two? 😊

Internal inclines are some of my favourite features in slate mines. Sorry no idea about Chris, not seen him in a year.

@@MildaGoesWild I endeavour to go down further my next visit.....I actually met Chris down Maenofferen the other year with my daughter. I do hope he's OK though as he's not posted lately. I will visit again soon and venture further. Thanks for the reply. Stay safe. 😉

The incline with with the bell/signal is 8, the long one you walked up to the B is 31, the pretty tunnel with the false roof is actually where you pass through the bowydd fault which is why you get so many minerals, really cool video’s.
Have you got the complete red/blue/brown map?

Yes, the Bowydd fault which is what I call 'the metallic incline' (C28) is one of my favourite parts since I love metal mines so much! Didn't expect to see copper and iron in a slate mine like this 😁. Yep got the map, thanks 😊

@@MildaGoesWild I do love all of the colours the fault bring to the mine, there’s manganese and lead hiding away too, it’s a shame the cable thief’s destroyed the place
I think I must of gone crossed eyed looking at that map I ended up making my own tracings, makes it a lot easier on the eye

@@djviper79 I was so impressed by how long the B31 incline is - must be the longest internal incline in the area. I could wander around there for days, so much to see, and the map is a huge help of course.

@@MildaGoesWild it is a biggy, although I’d be shocked if the big O didn’t have longer, albeit possibly partially dug out the ground by now, did you find the view point a couple of chambers deeper in from the b31? It’s awesome for scale
Also there is a way (provided it’s not collapsed) into V+B from the mine your in
