Absolutely brilliant video. Living in Switzerland I am quite spoiled by having easy access to my favourite regions in France and Italy. But I could really also listen to you instead! Monique, the way you present your passion for wine is so amiable, if I may say. First time I had the chance to follow Ian Cauble. Humble and convincing in the same time. He has class. This video made me subscribing and I will recommend it to all members of my wine community.

Great video! I do personally prefer Willamette Valley to Burgundy and not only because of price/value,. Case in point, I'll take Domaine Drouhin over Joseph Drouhin. But I acknowledge taste is very personal (I've loved some 85 pointers and hated some 95 pointers.)

I am a somm (albeit not a master) but no one is blinding producers unless its something obvious. The rest isn't impossible but it took me, Ian, years but getting good at blinding is doable. Way easier if you work in the business and can taste tons and tons of wine but what's more important isn't volume but paying attention and looking everything up.

@ 6 48 Yup, Stockholm used to be a center of Pinot production in the Roman Warm Period, but that ended some time ago. Sadly, even if global warming brings a return to a favorable climate, Sweden will be so Islamicized that country will be in no position to take advantage of the opportunity of again becoming the center of Pinot production. If only the Swedes had waited a little longer, they could have enjoyed the fruits of a Gallic invasion. That's Progressivism for ya'. So sad.
