Wouldn't garuntee Bedard...Likely gotta give up good players that would improve Chicago, win more games and don't get 1st overall...Safest bet would be if you only trade draft picks for Chicagos 2023 1st but Chicago could then end up making trades with those picks that again make them miss out on 1st overall although that's less likely so I'd say get Chicago's 2023 1st while only sending picks back.

Franchise mode has a lot of potential to be a good game mode. Everything about it needs to be redone.
But the one thing i want is to be able to start a franchise from the year 2000 or something. That way we have 2 decades of real life playable rookies and prospects lol. I just want to play all my favorite rookies and role play the shit out of this game mode. Its pretty boring playing a 25 year long franchise when all your favorite players are already at their prime or retiring and after the first couple years you get generated rookies

Europe imperialism where you take the highest rated team in each countries top league and put them through the regular NHL imperialism except that if they win they can take any player from the defeated countries national team (including NHL players)
