Hello, I am applying to a school a second time. My application has an essay prompt regarding reflection on experiences and personal development since my last application. (50 to 250 words) I was thinking about discussing that when I last applied my school had not ranked me in relation to my graduating class yet, I was the Valedictorian. The school really cares about student ranking and my school did not rank students unless they got the Valedictorian or Salutatorian ranks. I want to discuss this topic and how it gauges how I performed against others in a similar environment that being my high school. In addition to this I wanted to discuss my preferences for smaller classes which I have become aware of as of coming to a big college. I want smaller classes much like at smaller liberal universities because it is easier to get ahold of professors, ask questions, and make connections with other students as they not always sitting in different spots. I also thought I would discuss experience I have gained while working as intern in the summer and how I learned to work well with supervisors and co-workers, therefore developing communication skills.
Am I able to write about how I was sent to continuation school due to missing 50+ high school credits and at the same time obtain credits to advance to the next grade and how I went back to my traditional high school senior year second semester or is that more common than I think on applications?
