I always thought Sonic Heroes had the more reminiscant music from the Sega Genesis era. Had similar sorts of compositions. I haven't played many Sonic games past that but to my experience this one has the most faithful soundtrack.

Those of you, who have played the Classic Sonic The Hedgehog Games as I have been playing since I could pick up the pad, would surely be fascinated by what looks like a spooky equivalent of Star Light Zone.

Lately I haven't been enjoying how you say Genesis remix but you use Sonic 2 instruments, but I'll pass on this one. It has a nice bass that reminds me of the SNES
