You could use clear nail polish instead of resin.
@@sirisrinivas1432 apparently clear nail polish can crack after a while so I wouldn’t really recommend it
If you cant get your cd clear, you can use nail polish remover before using the tape. And using a clean stronger tape will help you :)

try using sharper scissors and make sure you are doing it on the matte silver side not the holo side :)
i think we can't use normal discs to peel it off. use CD-R 👍

Plus another advise , make sure your cd is a CD-R , it works best on that ;)

If you have the same CD and you want to get rid of the blue on there you can wash it if with dish soap and it will just go off.I hope that helped.
Can put glitter on the back side so don't cover the butterfly too much 🙂
No need to peel off. I search "clear cds for painting" in AMZ and find the transparent cds there. ;-)

Ok but when I use tape to get rid of the foil, theres sticky residue. How do I get rid of the sticky residue?
I’m really late but try scrubbing it with some dish soap and a sponge it worked for me

I tried this today and it cam out great! But my butterfly sketch could use some work lol btw if you don’t have resin you can just use clear glue I used the Elmer’s one and it cam out great! Idk abt other brands but yea
My stupid CD’s have stuff on them that is like- dark. It won’t come off and idk what to do. HelP
