Oh my God. Annie Lennox's album Bare saved me from a nervous breakdown. And there are not words yet in the English language for me to express my admiration for Brandi Carlisle. She continues to uplift and amplify other artists, and it is beautiful to see.
This is what music should be about and was in the past and seldom is anymore. Real songs sung by real singers with real instruments with little ego and lots of love, all being given to an audience who know music and appreciate it so much.
This is a special performance but I disagree. There is always great music being made all the time. It’s just harder to find now and you have to look for it. But it’s out there, real songs, real singers, real instruments and all.
I just read the review of this concert in the New York Times, and I don't believe I've ever read a review so full of praise and wonder. Sounds like those of you who were fortunate enough to be there witnessed something special indeed.
This 47 year old guy has loved Eurythmics and Annie Lennox all his life. Love her voice, love their music. The record that this song is from, 'Diva' , is a sublime solo record. Great performance. Her voice is still as strong as ever. Love it.
I was there and this concert was amazing !!!! What a delight to have Annie and Brandi on the stage together ! Two powerhouses right there !! I was much further back; so THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this . Now I can relive this experience over and over ! Just WOW!!
I saw Annie in 1984 at the Hollywood Bowl. She was brilliant then but she's a force of nature now. Her contralto voice has aged like fine wine. And to have her singing live with Brandi? My ears are pleasantly in shock. Just a magnificent performance. I NEED more.
I’m 67 and retired- concerts aren’t my thing theses days( don’t enjoy the crowd experience anymore)- I am bumped 😢to not have know about this epic 😮 concert. I would have tried to go for this one. I will love watching whatever bits and pieces I find on RUclips, vicariously and envious of those that were so fortunate and privileged to be there in person ❤
I'm glad the rest of the world has FINALLY figured out what we lucky PNWers have known for decades..Brandi Carlile is the real freaking deal. I could listen to her sing the phone book. How awesome is it that she is honoring her idols!

I think in some ways, being a good backup-singer is as big a talent as being a good soloist. And Brandi can really do both. Whenever she is singing backing vocals to another artist, she seems to know the right way to really elevate that person's strengths. Also, of course, this is an amazing performance! Annie Lennox is a legend, and she looks like she's having a blast performing with Brandi and the band.
The Eurythmics was my first concert- 1984- I was 15 years old and Annie absolutely mesmerized me! I’ve seen Brandi 3 times in concert, so this combo brings me to tears! The beginning of my journey into music with the force of Brandi taking us to a beautiful future- couldn’t love this more… ❤
