You helped me gain 20-30 yards on my clubs and it was consistent and repeatable. Thanks so much! My 7 iron went from 150 to 170-180 depending on quality of strike. My 3 iron went from 190 to more like 230-240. I've followed you on skillest and uploaded my videos but I've not received a reply after 6 days. I think you're an awesome coach and I'd love to see what personal feedback from you could actually do for me. Looking forward to what you have to say about my swing. Thanks for all the gains so far though. Cheers!
Tried this today. Wow! I feel like my swing is slower, more controlled, and so completely EFFORTLESS…but I’m hitting it consistently 20% (yeah. percent.) farther with every club! Thank you, Kevin!
GREAT Job Kevin. I just added 13 yards to my 7 iron and lowered my launch angle from 21 to 17. And hit draws l. And I can probably hit it further. It took 60 seconds and was repeatable!!! Driver tomorrow.
I’d be interested in what you thoughts were of the STOW STICK golf accessory…. It sure has made a difference in my putting movements…. “Thank You” for your for your well explained video..
This is just the tip I needed. Everytime I top the ball into the water my club follows into the middle of the lake. Now I might be able to get the club to clear the water.
I think I have learned the correct move from you now but this is something I still need work on. I hit the ball better Friday than I have in years, really stobbed some iron shots. I have to work on getting that sling motion at the bottom to pick up the distance. I have sucked for the last couple of years and my buddies were shocked at how I hit it. You have a simple, easily understandable way of teaching that is remarkable. Thanks and keep the videos coming. Could you do one on how to flight your wedges so that you get the distance you want I have been playing and studying the game for years and I think that the thing that decent amateurs understand the least is how to hit wedges the correct distance.
Do you tilt upper back with driver to hit up on it? I like to avoid that move to protect my lower back. If you dont tilt back what do you do instead to create the leverage and separation of lower and upper body?
I haven't tried this yet but it seems like there would be an issue catching the ball square before the wrists roll over; where you might tug the ball left?
Thanks for all the great instruction. Whilst it is cute, thought I should suggest the best English is 'to hit the ball a long way' not 'hit the ball far ways or far away. Greetings from New Zealand
The uncertainty in the yardage at the bottom corner of your screen is huge (±50 - 60 yards). Im curious as to why it is so big, but it also means you can't have any confidence at all in those yardages. Is it 300 yards, 250 yards, 350 yards? Who knows.
Distance is directly linked to clubhead speed, plenty of data around to show that for majority of golfers distance driver hits V swing speed What he is showing here though is how to increase the club head speed by releasing the club not through swinging faster
I am not sure the frisbee analogy is a good one. I know plenty of people who never got the hang of throwing one, not to mention that many of us geezers haven't thrown one in decades! I do like the thought of throwing the club. I'll hit the range this afternoon and give it a try.
To hit it 300 yards the hand speed needs to rapidly accelerate in the first quarter of the downswing, and then break to be the energy out the club. The real trick is figuring out how to get enough hand speed to begin with.
Wow, you need to start teaching all the top tour pros, because the tour average is only 298.3 yards! When you know that they are swinging 'eyeballs out', just think how much help you could be to the very best golfers in the world... yeah, right.
These machines are so false. No way you are hitting 311 yards. I think people who use these simulations give a false sense of how far they hit. On average golfers drive 220-230 yards.
Just because you are uneducated on new golf tech, there is no need to knock something you clearly don’t have much knowledge on. The top players in the world use launch monitors… as well as 75% of everyone else in this sport that want to elevate their game. Have you ever used one? From the sound of it, probably not.. What’s your definition of average? I am an “average” 6-7 handicap player and I hit 260-275 drives.. consistently..
Definitely need to let your wrists release before impact if you want to impact the ball with max clubhead speed. "Holding angles" for too long will only rob your speed + you won't get the height you need to maximize distance with the already slow clubhead speed without a proper release.

Great input with the frisbee example of the movement
I tried this during my round today and when I did it right, I added 20 yards to my drives and 10 yards to my irons. Great lesson.
Wow this is a miracle i added more distance and was hitting with less effort you are a magician

40 yards on a 200yard drive! ??? I'll take that 😊😊
Excellent explanation, the clearest I have seen in years.
Thank you 🙏🏼
That throw example was amazing epiphany. Great job explaining it.
Your teaching is so good and simple your going to be a great teacher

Very good explanation I will have to try, thanks
Good tip. I’ll try it a few times until I get the feel. Thanks. Good luck on your channel

Nice job! I love the simplicity and clarity of your approach. Cheers.
awesome content ty.. i'll keep you posted
Hi Kevin, does this work with a strong grip?
The throw fixed my power leaks and my ball flight is lower. 💪
This is just the tip I needed. Everytime I top the ball into the water my club follows into the middle of the lake. Now I might be able to get the club to clear the water.
I knew someone would say this! 😅
Very nice. Thank you
Hitting to 1 o'clock is the nugget in this lesson

Kev, do this again in super slow-mo from the side!
When doing the throw away club feel, is it like a hinge snap feel when doing so or just do what you typically swing and add that throw motion? Thanks!
Do you tilt upper back with driver to hit up on it? I like to avoid that move to protect my lower back. If you dont tilt back what do you do instead to create the leverage and separation of lower and upper body?
Set the altitude to high on the sim
I haven't tried this yet but it seems like there would be an issue catching the ball square before the wrists roll over; where you might tug the ball left?
So the release is letting go of the golf club
hahah just like cars, only dudes love the golf swing , girls glued to their phone
Thanks for all the great instruction.

Your girl couldnt be less interested
😂😂😂😂 so tired for golf
She's heard this a million times. He's always swinging that silly thing
Was going to ask if the sultry sheila went with the lessons.
Super shitty girlfriend
😂😂😂
Oops , missed the part warning about maybe not throwing the club inside. Need to fix the wall 😅just kidding. Good feeling
I can see a lot of clubs bring thrown now. :)
🔥
What about equipment? What driver is that? What shaft?
That’s what she said😂
@@The559Jeff with golf you can do that ALL DAY!
shaft
Threesome
Foursome
Balls
Hole
Head
Stroke
Hit you shot "inside" of them etc

savage with the lady just chillen
Please do how to swing like Min Woo Lee 🎉
why is the +- 55 yards? Just curios
If you can teach her to swing, I'M IN.
@@dimtgco1428 I’m actually teaching her on my Korean channel 👍🏼

Every time I do the throw drill, my grip gets too light. But it's correct… it's far more in the hands than most instructors want to admit.

Go get a 5$ one and try it ?
I like the comparison of skipping rocks.
Who knew those guys throwing their clubs into the water and woods were just doing a mid round refresher drill?! 🤷🏻♂️
Exactly lol not even a penalty 😂
sam snead whip, look it up

Great vid! Ty for this tip. Love the bored gf in the background
i hate this effortless 300 yards are you saying lpga pros are using too much strength?
No but lpga golfers don’t have the speed to hit 300 yards.
It is not 300 yds. Simulators always exaggarate. Effortless 250 is more realistic.
Ayeeeee
Your girl liking at your phone she confused
Now, If I can just do this and not tighten up and try to kill it and come over the top as I always do. 😄
My takeaway here is that a smooth driver swing won’t impress the ladies. The dudes are all into it though!
Now, how can i consistently "carry" 300
Is for reminding me that golf is not about staying stuck with your body.
Some of the tour pros don’t hit it that far
Be 20 y.o. and have a decent swing while being limber as a dishrag, is that about right.
Effortless perhaps….but he is able to generate a high swing speed. Not every amateur can do that.
Hmmm.....🤫....What tall ate you !??? 6" 3' .... don't tell me about effortless 300 yds . - with my 5" 2' 😉😅🤣🤣🤣
Prerequisites: must be over 5’9…
Throwing the club is nothing new……Jackie Burke taught that in the 60’s
I would love to see this guy play a round. He nukes balls and want to see how it looks in real life
The girl on the phone is a prop you don't see any other golf tip videos.
Does your girlfriend play golf?
The point of golf is to get AWAY from your girl.
Wow, you need to start teaching all the top tour pros, because the tour average is only 298.3 yards! When you know that they are swinging 'eyeballs out', just think how much help you could be to the very best golfers in the world... yeah, right.
Instructions unclear just did a hio with my driver but the ball is still on the tee
All my attention is drawn to the girl.
Effortless, really? Every swing you have to put an effort. Stop using the word effortless....
Your director seems utterly bored by your lesson...
I dont understand what he is saying here.
You are not hitting that damn ball 300+ yards carry. Lmao. Stop it
Why are you so butt hurt?
These machines are so false. No way you are hitting 311 yards. I think people who use these simulations give a false sense of how far they hit. On average golfers drive 220-230 yards.
Then we won’t see these machines on the range at every tour event. And every tour pro I’m around can hit over 300 yards
You’re talking nonsense
So, snap the wrists into the ball is what you're saying.
Definitely need to let your wrists release before impact if you want to impact the ball with max clubhead speed. "Holding angles" for too long will only rob your speed + you won't get the height you need to maximize distance with the already slow clubhead speed without a proper release.
Maybe don’t involve your girl in your videos. Next time she looks so disinterested kind of takes away from everything you’re trying to explain.
