    Awesome piece of equipment. I purchased this machine 3-27-19. It took me 2 hours to put together. Directions are a little bit challenging but very easy to assemble. Thanks jim for the great video. I give this machine a 10 out of 10.

      Good to hear, I just purchased and am awaiting delivery. I have the Valor BF-47 and love it (great bang for the buck)

    I do lat pulldowns facing the machine, with my knees in the pads and leaning back slightly... wish he'd demonstrate this since as a taller person it'd be nice to know if the kneepads are adjustable.

    Good video. You are facing the wrong direction when you demonstrate the lat pull-down though.

      yah, what's that all about. I'd like to see it done the correct way. I am looking at getting this for my home and trying to see the quality of the unit....

    I just got this today. So far so good, but one thing I noticed, the cables on mine form an "X". It doesn't affect working out though, as far as I know.

      JimVanderbleek I just fixed it today. All I had to do was pull out the pulley and reverse it. Problem solved.

    I got a reply, not only on youtube, but also to the email I sent to valor athletics within minutes. I got a person, (Jim), not a copy and paste cookie cutter reply. He sent a personal video he made showing his CB-12, and actually agreed with me that there could be more travel if the cable was longer. Blown away by the customer service.

    It's installed correctly, it just seems a waste to have that much chain. For example, I wanted to do cable twists (ab/obliques) and it's impossible because of the chain. I didn't really consider the cable stretching out over time, so maybe in time I'll be able to do it because there's no slack in the chain right now and you seem to have a few links of slack. As it is right now, there is 33" of travel. I'm not counting the clip/chain. If there were no chain and only 1 clip, it would be 44".

    There is 42" of travel. You could have the cables installed incorrect. The chains at the end of cables that connect to the frame are to help adjust the cable during "cable stretch" over time. The chains at the user end of the cable is to us as a substitute to save the actual travel for the range of motion for the user. Example: Tricep pull downs. Use the chain between the bar and the cable so you are not pulling the cable down until the actual exercise. Call me if you need some photos.7278959525

    02:00 plenty of travel? Cable A is 1 foot too short, that's why it has to use a chain and clips, and the clips can't go into the pulley.. this is an inaccurate display for this unit and I'm really disappointed with it, seriously lacking in range of motion.

    Nice try - but the demo of low row while seated on floor is the worst way to row - all he's doing is bending at the waist - way to mess up your spine. Should be performed sitting upright by pulling handle to your low mid chest (approx little above belly button or inch or two higher). Confirm by checking out other videos by more knowledgeable professionals.
