I know this is old but I'm so glad I found it! I've been looking for a tutorial with a fair redhead with blemishes. Very hard to find that bc most of the tutorials have such young girls (with blemish-free skin). Thank you!!!!!
You're really gorgeous! Makes me wish I had red hair, haha. I've been searching for a foundation routine that won't destroy my bank account for some time, too, and this is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
sooo happy I found a makeup vlogger with someone with the same kind of skin as me!!! I always watch makeup videos but suddenly realized...they don't even have the same skin tone as me so what's the point ?! and its so true -- almost NOTHING is ever pale enough 😂😂😂
Yay, someone with the same shade of red hair as me. I really like your eye makeup too, please do a video so I can see how you do it and what colours you use. Thanks x
Have you thought about applying your foundation to your acne areas *last* instead of first, so that you don't spread the bacteria all over your face as you are now doing? It could cut down on your acne. Great video!
I'm a strawberry-blonde with fair skin, so I'm happy to find you. Love your tips, but my favorite part of this video is your cat talking to you thinking you're talking to him. Too funny!
You look amazing! Your video was very helpful. I would only suggest to change the color of your brow pencil as I have noticed it does not look that good when we use orangey ones. You should try the caramel Brow wiz from Anastasia it is a bit pricey but it goes a long way.
Your cat sounds just like mine! I even stopped the video and looked down the hall thinking it was my cat meowing at me haha. Great video! I haven't used revlon colorstay in a few years, I used to love it though! I might have to give it a another go.
Did you ever try missha bb creams? I love how the M signature real perfect bb cream mixed with the missha bb booster (half and half) evens out my skin: I get a very light and natural coverage. I've got no freckles to speak of, but it helps conceal a couple of broken capillaries making me look like I'm wearing nothing at all. For me finding these products was a revolution and I never wear anything else nowadays.
nice video, i have mix between blond and red hair, freckles and oily skin, I'm currently thinking whether I should buy me the Revlon Foundation, unfortunately I'm not sure what color ... (I think I have a yellow undertone), maybe you can give me a tip? Greetings from Austria
being Irish German and Scottish I have yet to find a foundation that's pale enough for me, they all turn me orange so ive just given up and have stopped using anything on my face period. I do have a lot of pinkness going on which I think is partially do to living in texas (its freaking hot here!!!) my skin type is dry and most of the liquid foundations ive tried kind of curdle on my skin instantly. what do u think I should use? I really do miss covering those freckles and redness but I cant stand that orange bs! help!
TheBethanyFae Have you tried Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum? It's so lovely and inexpensive but I'm not sure if they would have it in a very pale colour :(
k3ro I should have an updated routine coming soon. If you're pale like me I would invest in Manic Panic white foundation to make every foundation work better for you. I've been trying it on all of my foundations and it's changed muh life!
Have you tried the revlon nearly naked in Ivory. I find that slightly paler. I think I'm slightly paler than you. On pale days I mix it with a bit of white foundation but I can just about get away with it in summer. The joys of being pale.
I'm pale, oily AND have acne. But age rewinding concealer and reckon colorstay always save the day. They last so long too! I had to stop using my favourite powder - australis pressed powder because the lightest shade made me look orange. I've started using rimmel stay matte powder, don't like it near as much but it'll have to do. Would anyone else happen to know a good, pale pressed powder? Help!
Elise Atkins I'm currently use the NYX blotting powder. It's more sheer but its definitely helpful to my oily pale self. They've got several fair powders in varying coverage actually. :)
I get also oily in my t-zone and I'm using the pro longwear concealer as a Foundation. It stays all day on my skin. What lipstick are you wearing at the end? It looks really nice.
Wow do you do through a lot of it or are you able to make it stretch? It's such a small container, but it's potent. I believe NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London. :) Thank you!
awesome, im a super fair skinned red head and that foundation is great coverage but ivory is a little to pink on my skin, i might try buff which looks a little more yellow, what do you use on your brows they look great
I really wish I could wear the MAC promo pro long wear concealer still... It really breaks me it, super badly!! I mean cystic, ouch under the skin never going away kind. That stuff is phenomenal though in texture & coverage! Xoxo i am also pale but with yellowish undertones. Do you think Revlon Colorstay would be too pink? MAC in NC20.. I use Loreal true match in W2, but it honestly does not last long at all! I'm oily 2 seconds in. Also sometimes I use Cover girl 3 in 1 (ivory 105 lightest shade-- it oxidizes) because it lasts and is more matte than Loreal. However, it's too pink toned /:
Kparso01 I'm unsure as my range is a little lighter but I've seen Mac NC20 compared to Revlon Colorstay in Buff. So maybe it'll work well for you and if you're still hesitant I'd keep the receipt just encase. I'd say if you like the Covergirl 3-in-1 then you're gonna like the Oily/Combination Colorstay because it holds up really well throughout the day. I can't wear the Loreal True match either. It's melts off my face like crazy. Especially in the summer!
What's on your lips? If I had to guess...it would be Revlon Color Matt Balm in Sultry ( #225) My favorite everyday red. If it's not that one...it's a dupe for it for sure!
I think she was more sweeping as opposed to buffing. Buffing implies a certain amount of pressure and circular motions. Sweeping powder on wont disturb the base as long as the brush is really soft.
I'm a redhead and you look like my skin color, but I've tried all of these products and they are all way too dark for me. I'm so incredibly pale and I have no idea what kind of makeup will work for me.
+Carolyn Mathis Hey there! I actually have an updated Foundation Routine going up in a day or so and it is wayyy more pale. Here I was able to get by with a tanner drugstore product because I had a sunburn. So maybe this next video will be more helpful to you! ^.^
Thanks girl :) i grew up old german baptist (a modern form of amish) and i never rele had anybody to show me how to do makeup bcus i wasnt allowed to wear it and now that iam im watching your videos to try and figure it out and their very helpful, all my makeip i wear is self taught and it looks crappy
I have the Illamasqua one that i mix into my color stay too especially in the winter time because I can fake it to work in the summer time. The only complaint I have is I have a more yellow undertone and the white always seems to make my foundation too pink-y. Next winter I'm going to fiddle with it for sure!
TheBethanyFae I have the Mac and Illamasqua and the Illamasqua Skinbase in White is amazing. I mix it in with Makeup Forever HD to bring it up to my skintone.
Red hair and blue eyes are the rarest natural combination in the world since both are recessive traits (only about 1% of people on earth have that combination). You probably knew that though didn't you.
Thank you for not applying so much makeup that it looks like a mask. It bothers me so much when these young girls just layer and layer and layer stuff on their faces. Your application looks very pretty!
+TheBethanyFae I've used it and it broke me out worse than anything. I have scars from it. I don't want anyone else to use it because there's the risk of break outs.
Erin Emaleth I do agree that not one thing works for another and not one thing that hurts one will hurt another. Hints why there's a trillion different options. Sounds like you have sensitive skin maybe find one for that good luck
So great to see another freckled redhead on here! That foundation is my favorite. The smallest amount buffed in makes a huge difference!
Holy cheek bones, your bone structure is incredible
Thank you!! :D :D
It's so hard to find makeup videos for fair skin AND freckles...yaay
I know :O
"Mostly it added freckles--but it burned a bit..." OMG if that isn't the story of my life lol love it
I know this is old but I'm so glad I found it! I've been looking for a tutorial with a fair redhead with blemishes. Very hard to find that bc most of the tutorials have such young girls (with blemish-free skin). Thank you!!!!!
The make up channel I've been looking for! It's nice to see other people struggle with make up that's not light enough. Keep them coming!
I am so glad I found a makeup tutorial with someone that has my skin tone and same coloring!
You're so pretty! With and without makeup!!!!
thank god finally a nice, understandable person who is as pale as me.. and your makeup tactics aren't confusing!! thank god ❤
Girl, I love your hair color, your eyebrows and mostly your complexion. Beautiful fairy ^^
WHAT LIPSTICK IS THAT?!?!?!?!
It is absolute perfection. I need it in my life.
It's a soft matte lip cream in either "Stockholm" or "London". My faves!
I love the Soft Matte lip creams by NYX so much! i have 5, but neither of those shades. :( May have to get them.
I just love your videos Bethany!! the kitty in the background is so sweet! You are awesome
Thank you Nicole! He's gonna be in the next one for a bit too. Hope you like how cute he is on screen!
So nice to find someone with pale skin like me! Love your videos! Glad I found you and looking forward to watching more
The crafty owl Thank you so much! ^.^
I only noticed halfway through editing this video that I use my middle finger to put on concealer.. >.
Yeah thanks for flippin us off XD XD XD highlight of my day
Emma Rose Haha! I swear I didn't mean too!
Finally a you tuber that understands pale skin problems!! Impossible to find a foundation that is right 🙈
Holy smokes ur so gorgeous! ..even before u applied foundation..red hair+freckles=🎉🎉🎉..if only I have ur natural red hair..
I'm a strawberry-blonde with fair skin, so I'm happy to find you. Love your tips, but my favorite part of this video is your cat talking to you thinking you're talking to him. Too funny!

I also have a hard time finding things pale enough for me. Thank you for your channel. I need a fellow ginger to help guide me through colors.
Your cat sounds just like mine! I even stopped the video and looked down the hall thinking it was my cat meowing at me haha. Great video! I haven't used revlon colorstay in a few years, I used to love it though! I might have to give it a another go.
Missy Reader He's kinda got a deep whiny meow. lol
I hope it you try it again you like it! :)
Did you ever try missha bb creams? I love how the M signature real perfect bb cream mixed with the missha bb booster (half and half) evens out my skin: I get a very light and natural coverage. The Lancome brush looks like the Shiseido foundation brush. Sonia Kashuk also has a dupe!
I have the Sonia Kashuk one too! It works pretty nice as well!
This is a great video. You have some great foundation advice. I just found you're channel and I have to say I really like you're videos. :)
Thank you!
I know this is an older video but do you have an entire face tutorial with bronzer and basic eye makeup?
Can you tell me which blush did you use in the end? I've searched in your other video but it's not the same... I absolutely love it.
have you tried a beauty blender with this foundation. cause it works really well for me. Real Techniques makes a good one that's inexpensive
Is your hair totally natural or do you use a glaze or something? My hair is hair is dark auburn but I want to bring out the red. Thanks!
I like your videos :) *positive affirmation* keep 'em coming.
Can you suggest any good tinted moisturizers, finding one that is pale enough on me is a true hunt. Thanks and love your videos :)
Revlon Ivory has always been a blessing. I used to love Ultima II! Are you the mua who told me about Benefit Dallas for contouring? Thanks!
try organic rose water as a setting spray.......works for my skin
Finale I found a redhead! :DDDD
SUBBED!
Ha! Thank you Ayla! ;)
Same here I am a redhead as well 🙂
nice video, i have mix between blond and red hair, freckles and oily skin, I'm currently thinking whether I should buy me the Revlon Foundation, unfortunately I'm not sure what color ... (I think I have a yellow undertone), maybe you can give me a tip? Greetings from Austria

THANK YOU!! This is exactly what I needed!! Love ya 😘
This was fabulous!! Tfs!! 🙌💕
You're such a beautiful human
As a fellow pale chick, "personifying Michael Jackson" cracked me UP!! I love your videos! So helpful and so funny. Also, you're gorgeous!! :)
;D Thank you!!
TheBethanyFae Have you tried Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum? It's so lovely and inexpensive but I'm not sure if they would have it in a very pale colour :(
what's that lip colour at the end? so beautiful!
i'm as pale as you and i'm definitely gonna try this! it's from 2014 though, do you still use this routine or is there anything newer you'd recommend?
k3ro I should have an updated routine coming soon. If you're pale like me I would invest in Manic Panic white foundation to make every foundation work better for you. I've been trying it on all of my foundations and it's changed muh life!

The joys of being pale.
Yes, I did last year and it was too dark for me at the time...What white foundation do you use?
Yes indeed. DA struggle!
Omg. You are so informative. And beautiful:) I'm a redhead. .who is turning grey :/ I think you look like a young me :) :)
What is your lipstick color in this video? It's lovely!
Do you dye your eyebrows? I've never found a dye that sticks.
+Elise Atkins Use a translucent powder :)
I only use one pump for my whole face. Sometime one and a half. It lasts a few months.
awesome, im a super fair skinned red head and that foundation is great coverage but ivory is a little to pink on my skin, i might try buff which looks a little more yellow, what do you use on your brows they look great
Thank you! I used the Beautique Eye Brown Pencil in Auburn. It's found at Sally's beauty supply. :)
It is the NYX Soft Matte Lip cream in "Stockholm" I believe. :)
I love the Revlon Balms. Been meaning to get that one!
I have the same concealer that i use under my eyes and I got the lightest shade too. Yet it still looks too dark for me D:
Great video:) please do a products for beginners to makeup video it would be really helpful:) thanks xx
Thank you! And thank you for the great suggestion!! :)
Very helpful video for us pale gals!
You are really gorgeous! Wow, subscribed
I tried urban decays oil slick and I couldn't get past the smell :/
What a shame, Revlon colourstay is sold with a pump in Australia.. I wonder why that's not universal?
Tegan Sinclair I'm not sure but I'm totally jelly.
Have you tried Mac studio fix in nw10? It's really pale and I feel like it's the only thing light enough for me.
Savannah Ash I have not. I had no idea they went lower than NW15. 0.0 That sounds promising! Does it ever break you out or anything?
Damn those cheek bones! People spend millions on contours to look like you lol gorgeous!
I really recommend blotting your powder on areas with concealer instead of buffing. As it disturbs the coverage. ;___;
I think she was more sweeping as opposed to buffing. Buffing implies a certain amount of pressure and circular motions. Sweeping powder on wont disturb the base as long as the brush is really soft.
I disagree. Any type of swiping/buffing at it with a brush is going to disturb the thing beneath it.
Hey from Ireland great tutorial. X
I'm a redhead and you look like my skin color, but I've tried all of these products and they are all way too dark for me. I'm so incredibly pale and I have no idea what kind of makeup will work for me.

I think MAC sells a white foundation to lighten foundations that might be too dark for you.
i didn't know that! I had seen that Illamasque makes one too! I will eventually try one but I'm cheap. lol
I have the Illamasqua one that i mix into my color stay too especially in the winter time because I can fake it to work in the summer time. The only complaint I have is I have a more yellow undertone and the white always seems to make my foundation too pink-y. Next winter I'm going to fiddle with it for sure!

Do people know that Pale and Fair tones are different colors? 😔
+JoyOnline Most do..

Thank you!!

Lol you remind me of the girl Mary Jane from spider man your so pretty
Good God your beautiful !!!
Meow😂😂😂🐯🐯🙈
That foundation is TERRIBLE for your skin. Don't use it! It gives you really bad acne and is NOT healthy.
Calm down love. It's only makeup.
+TheBethanyFae I've used it and it broke me out worse than anything. I have scars from it. I don't want anyone else to use it because there's the risk of break outs.
