They constantly fact check Jones when he's on Timcast IRL. The other guest, a libertarian, just kept having to repeat that Alex Jones was right about all the things. The chat also was full of "AJ was right" comments. Tim thought Phil would somehow be a voice of reason but instead enabled and cheered Jones on, forcing Tim to be the straight man. Tim tried endlessly to convince Alex that the hyperbolic stuff eclipses the basis in reality every time.
That's on you then. He presents it in an over the top way, but anyone actually paying attention to world politics and has been on the political tap for a while knows that he's actually right on so many things, and continues to be even moreso as time goes on.
During the Bush years most people were drawn to him because of his antiwar stance. I remember thinking he was great. TYT even had a lot of overlapping audience members. But I couldn't get 100% on board with the truther crap and that was just the tip of the iceberg.
