@@SugarEdy Well, I’m pretty sure they’re in college in the game, though I could be wrong. But Brett Dalton is 41 (which ironically he’s a decade older than me and I just turned 31, so I cant’t imagine him below 30). Even Jordan (Matt) turned 30 this year, so I think it’d be odd to let them playin the film. Though I don’t think anyone can top Galadriel Stineman’s or Nicole Sakura’s line reads. I’d love if Sabrina Carpenter could play Jessica, she wears blue (though I feel Jess’s jacket is more of a periwinkle color) well and I feel she has good range to play Jess’s personality.
When you think of Until Dawn you think of her, yes the actors might not be in their 20s anymore but the production could do any type of adaptation, like just put them in the cast and continue the storyline
@@bubuthefooll The guy who plays Mike is in his 40’s. I mean I think it’d be cool to bring them back, but at the same time, the studio likely wants the film to make a budget. I also think it’s cool to see how other actors would play these parts.
Right and whoever is playing Emily, don’t f*ck it up! 😂 actually same should go for Jessica considering Meghan herself said the same thing about Tess from Camp Rock 😂
First of all, I really liked Amber Alert. Hayden should be proud of that movie. Secondly, I couldn't agree with her more. She should absolutely play Sam in the Until Dawn movie. I hope she does more video games because she was fantastic in Until Dawn.
Love the 'Remember the Titans' shout out. She was little scene-stealer! Yea I feel like the Until Dawn movie would be so goated if they brought back Hayden and Rami, and everyone. The characters don't necessarily have to be young for the plot to work.
How in the world could you end that interview so quickly with that beautiful human being. But yet again, I imagine speaking with her the time slows down.
Hilariously, one of the guys playing a football player played her character's producer early in the run of "Nashville" and they had a making out scene....
Ok I hate to bring it up but I need to ask. was this interview fairly recent? because i remember seeing an interview of her for the Until Dawn remake and it was evident she had gain a bit of weight, but now she seems to be much more skinnier or healthier. Because honestly its really impressive to see. I've looked into her story and it is quite admirable how resilient she is as she is incredibly self aware and open about her struggles and is incredibly strong to push through.
I'm wondering for the movie if they will have a new group of characters that go to the same area years later after the original cast. That way, it would be sort of continued after the game.
Reborn was so bad, I couldn't even stomach it enough to finish it. That series though was hit with so much bad luck in general, the writers' strike really ruined Season 2. Poor Caitlin is still stuck in time. 😔
While adults play teenagers all the time, I don’t think they all could pass due to a couple already being in their 40s now. Most shows/movies at least TRY to have actors that could maybe pass as being around that age. However, with technology as far as it is they definitely could fix any signs of aging after filming. They also, as other people stated, could change the story a bit. They could begin the movie with younger actors playing them as “teens” for the first part of the game where it shows the backstory of Hannah and Beth’s disappearance and then cut to the group reuniting on Josh’s property years later when they’re adults rather than only 1 year later. Gives time for Josh to be more cynical as well since he would have been sitting with his grief of his sisters’ unresolved case for a while.
I say they don't need to be making no UD movie adaptation. But maybe instead they at least do a long-running TV series taking place after one of the UD endings where only Sam and Mike survive, and it's just them, so no Wolfie and no Wendigo Josh. The series adapts all the dark pictures and non-dark pictures horror games (The Quarry, Frank Stone, etc.) but without the anthology aspect. I imagine the series going on for 20 seasons and Mike and Sam marry in the 100 episode. In the 20th season finale, after Sam becomes pregnant with Mike's child, they get infected by a super adaptive virus and sucked into a wormhole, they die but the child lives. The baby arrives in another universe as a grotesque mutated humanoid who has the appearance of a pale, cordless, adult-sized embryo fetus. It has the memories and experiences of both parents. It has superhuman abilities based on itself and its parents, and inverted versions of those powers. It can also control its own gender and be fully aware of and has full control over everything that composes it; its cells and biological processes, its breaths and thoughts, its movements and emotions, its conscious and un/subconscious, etc. It can survive and adapt to any/every environment and society and gains empowerment from the hero and slayer archetypes its parents adopted for 20 seasons. This child is known as Void. Void can have its own long-running sequel series.
SHE IS NOT WRONG, Ma girl SHOULD be playing Sam. As long as the others , they all are irl (most of em) actors!!! I get not being able to get a now Oscar Winner mr Joshua Washington . But cmon.
Agreed that she should be playing Sam but I can’t imagine the movie would have the budget to be able to afford Hayden, let alone Rami who has an Oscar under his belt now which will only add to his asking price.
This film is going to flop because fans have already voiced the concerns that all actors should be playing themselves but Sony values cheaper things over Quality
Problem is that they are all too old to be playing teenagers. With the digital mo-cap it's fine because the developers can just digitally de-age them. Rami Malek's character Josh for example is supposed to be 20 years old in the game (just out of his teens) but he's 43 in real life. That just can't work.
Hot Take: making an Until Dawn movie with the same actors, when Until Dawn the game is already so cinematic kinda ruins the speciality of it. I’m hoping the movie is some sort of spiritual sequel or prequel to the game, instead of a straight up adaptation/remake.
