Since we're all giving suggestions, how about 'Owners of different breeds'? How does an owner of a Quarter Horse differ from an owner of an Arabian? Or a Pony owner vs. a Draft owner? A Thoroughbred vs a Mustang? Anyway, love the vid :) Thanks for spoiling us with humor!
The weighing thing made me laugh. I once went on a course and the lady teaching it was horrified that I don't weigh feed and tried to show me up. She took a scoop of nuts and asked me how much it weighed. Without hesitating I told her and you should have seen her face when I was right. She didn't know that my Saturday job was behind a deli counter and I was an expert at judging the weight of stuff so I could cut the right amount of cheese or whatever off the block! In the end I was too good at it and my boss used to walk behind me and whisper "make it over" so he'd make more profit. 😁.
@@kath5201 Ha ha. Well I'm not saying they all do that! My boss had the nickname among regular customers of 'Arkwright' after the stingy shopkeeper in Open All Hours as he was well known for his penny pinching. The fact that he was Indian didn't stop the name sticking LOL. He was great otherwise though; a good sport and kindhearted. I liked working for him.
My 46yo got fed once a day. Almost 24# at a time. It took him around 18-22 HOURS to eat it all. (No teeth, it all came out of a bag!) Vet asked one time if it would help to feed him 2x a day!! He'd eat a little, graze, eat a little, take a nap, eat a little....
I am not a owner (I cant afford it) but I have worked in stables and went to a equestrian oriented agricultural school. I have ALWAYS said: use as little suplements as possible(grains, pellets, vitamins etc etc) and as MUCH hay as possible, preferably unlimited to help their digestive system :)
Can you do Different Equestrians at the tack store… like the one who say there coming in for one thing then comes out with a new tack set and spent 600$ 😂😂🤣🤣 btw I love your videos!!
Lol.😁 I thought I was bad after watching the rugging video! 😂 I'm at least 2 of these people, too!!! I think we all know how we SHOULD do something, then doubt yourself/hear rumours/other advice, etc. I believe in "as natural as possible",but as the saying goes, "horses for courses"!😃
An an oldie here, started riding seriously in 1960, we did feed alfalfa and sweet feed, exclusively!! Didn't know better then, nutrition has come a long way. Was young, rode between 100-150 miles every week, horses would try to hide when they saw us coming LOL
@@kath5201 Our horses were OK as well, exception being an OTTB, got a duck and gained 200 lbs! Anyway, what was fed then would not produce the healthy long life we now expect. Better living through chemistry!!!...and research and knowledge LOL
I just dump one scoop of feed twice a day with some supplements for arthritis in the evening, and then she gets hay and grass all day until it's time to come in. And of course she gets some compliments thrown in😋
Oh my gosh! What did you do to poor Kazi!? Or is that Zurreal?! I can’t even recognize that skeleton horse! Just kidding! We all know Gypsy Equestrian takes great care of her horses! 😂😉
Mine eats primarily grass from May to October and then grain and hay from October to April... I'm mostly an eyeballer, probably cause I learned from someone who is also an eyeballer lol estimates are fine as long as you are consistent in your estimates and make sure to keep track of your horse's condition to adjust up or down as needed.
The second to last one, the one that is like, "I'll put her on a diet tomorrow" is me XD I just really like to feed my horse. It's an easy thing to do that they really like, and thus, I probably give my pony a wee bit more than he needs in terms of treats XD
I’ve seen a bunch of ppl suggesting so ima suggest that , maybe make a vid on diff horse owners /diff owners feeding like ‘the first timer’ and ‘the 1 who don’t care’ etc. etc.
This is great 😂 I'm a mix of the "to much treats" (though I don't feed THAT many 🤣) and the "eye baller" (though I also don't feed a lot of grain, so I never have that problem 🤣) 🤣
haha! That’s so funny 😂 Also could you do “how different ages react to horses” Like age 5 could run right up at the back to the head and like hug it. Age 12 could like pet it gently and be a little scared of it Age 30-40 could be taking pictures of their kid next to it And like 60 could be saying “oh so cute” and asking a bunch of question Idk. Just some ideas
As a life-long horse owner, I was either only grazing or feeding coastal hay and sweet feed when preforming for over 20 years. Now I have an EMS mare and the struggle is reaaaal 🤣🤣 first time doing a pellet forage diet with supplements and have to weigh everything every time and make sure nutrient levels stay consistent. Lol
Back in the day....just a Flake of Alfalfa, a coffee can of Omoline, and wild oat pastures when available. This was when a coffee can held a true Pound of coffee. Maybe things have changed.
I'm the hay and grass diet type of person😂 to my defense: my horses are both easy keepers that get fat from just looking at food and they aren't in work at the moment. And they do get supplements as needed.
Dont worry so are mine. Healthy too. It depends what types you feed them and how much work they are in. Mine get obese and founder when given grain or pellets. Hay and pasture only is genuinely the best they have ever looked.
@@lanakranz9227 If they thrive on hay and pasture that's the best option for our horses! In all honesty oh my dad does with our horses is let them under and the pastor give them hay and a little bit of green everyday or day or so not thus we noticed that they're underweight or if they need extra treatment we will give them that like certain medicines if they're sick or if they have a fool that's Lucy when they get a little bit extra Grand
"Perfectly healthy..." *as she casually pets her skeleton horse.*
😂😂😂😂
So funny I love that part
I'm just the one who pretends it takes all day to feed my horses so I get to be with them longer
I do that to lol 😂
🤣🤣 heyyy
So true yas!
How the outfits/looks fit the personalities perfectly amazes me.
I ALWAYS like your videos before they even start.Anyone else?
Could you do “different equestrians trying out a horse”? 😂❤️ I love your parodies
SAME!!
Yasss
YES
YEEEEEEESSS!!!
Yes pls!!!!
Hay only diet and skeleton made me spit out my coffee!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for that...felt wonderful to laugh!

Yes! I really want to see this as a thoroughbred owner😂 I know she’ll make us look hilarious
This would be so funny!
This is a great idea!
And Appendix QH owners lol somehow we're both QH and thoroughbred but also neither haha
Great idea! I just got a 7 seven year old Arab a month ago.
the horse skeleton.... I wa drinking water while watching this and wasn't expecting that... I started laughing and choked lol
If there's one thing not to do, it's drink water while watching one of these videos XD

Maybe a "tipes of equestrians bathing a horse" or "tipes of equestrians buying tack"? Love your videos! Xx from brazil 💚
You should do a “types people searching for a horse to buy” video! 😂😂😂 I love your videos so much! They are hilarious!
So funny- these videos make my day. Keep them up! 😍😍😍
Omg so funny and so true .. one of each in every barn 🤣🤣🤣
The second person, the cowgirl is sooooooo me! Lol. I feed alfalfa, and sweet feed, and supplement with canola oil 🤣🤣🤣🤠
I will keep this in mind when I have my own horse. What does the canola oil do?
@@creativehorsequeen It helps them gain weight, and it’s cheap.
😂 this is hilarious. I’m the type of person who just eyeballs it

My horse literally just gets the barn’s food and salt. We just pay.
I love you and all of your horse
Who on earth could give this a thumbs down?? All these videos are so funny!!!
An extreme spectrum feeder felt called out! 😂
An an oldie here, started riding seriously in 1960, we did feed alfalfa and sweet feed, exclusively!! Didn't know better then, nutrition has come a long way. Was young, rode between 100-150 miles every week, horses would try to hide when they saw us coming LOL
Had horses in the 70's! We fed hay, Omoline (sweet feed) and sometimes tethered the horses out in a nearby field for grass. Never had a problem!

Hi! You should do a how different kinds of Equestrian get ready to ride, tack up, groom ect. Love your channel your awesome!
i’m the one who gives their horse a little extra! Opis, my gelding, gets a extra scoop of feed most days!
Same
My horse is a fat native, so he can’t have extra food. Otherwise he’d be getting an extra scoop!
I’m the one with 1000 supplements and weights feed and hay 😂 😂
Where did you get the skeleton horse? I want one. 😂
Can you different types of outfits people wear? Thx! Love the vids❤️
Maybe there’s a farmer VS equestrians love your comedy

The counting hay one

Oh- I uh- um- oh...
"See she's perfectly healthy". Ma'am... I think shes dead

Could you make a video on the best brands of horse tack?
One type of feeder you didn't use was the one that uses just oats and grain and hay and they tend to have horses that can survive anything
I feel like Marina is just using these videos to flex. like, just LOOK at her clothes! I'm jelly (rock those outfits girl!!) 😁😂
