I'm glad she won. Ironically, rolling on Chance when she did could've been horrible. She would've been four away from Go with two rolls left. If she rolls anything above 4, she wins $200,000. If she rolls 4, she wins $1,000,000. If she rolls 3, she would've landed on Boardwalk but would be guaranteed to pass go on the next roll. The interesting question is since the 8 was a double what would have happened if she rolled snake eyes and then another double (or snake eyes twice!) So except for a rare three doubles, the only way she could have lost if she passed Go to Jail would be to draw the card. They should've let her pass on choosing a card.
Took them a while to switch the 3rd Chance card to Advance to Go! The negative publicity they would have gotten if it said go to Jail after she said it was her grandson born on the 3rd and the host specifically bringing up her grandson. Lots of questions would have been raised about how rigged it is. They should have just given a lame prize under the chance card and made her have to roll a 4 to legit get there to win.
She landed on income tax and it gave her a free roll? Ok... They give them extra rolls because the odds of you winning the million by landing on GO is insanely lucky. If she didn't luck out on the chance card she would have more then likely lost. I like how the first winner won. That guy was crazy lucky.
